It has been a little better since last update. It is very difficult to understand(language barrier) any staff we talk to when there are concerns.

easy to use and teach- very happy with the product

Vantagens:

support is easy- great product, lots of updates to stay current. i personally met and deal with some of the senior staff and owner.

Desvantagens:

hardware issues is a pain- possible field agent to come set up? i understand that hardware is not your field of expertise, but your prices are high but i understand why. this can get outdated with software version.

We do provide Hardware maintenance at a very competitive price. We are a TRUE WINDOWS based system - this allows our users, to simply shop for a PC with a price that they are comfortable with, and we will work with you to install our products and services on that PC. For this sole reason alone, most pharmacies find it cost-effective to not pay anything extra for the maintenance, and simply upgrade their hardware as and when required. This gives you the choice along with the savings. We value your feedback and will come back to you with a possible solution that may work for your benefit. Thank you for always supporting us

Comentários: Overall, great experience. Easy to use and easy to understand.

Vantagens:

Best pharmacy software out there. Has some minor kinks, especially during updates but aside from that, if we run into issues, they are usually resolved relatively quickly.

Desvantagens:

Support sometimes doesn't understand problems when work stations get flipped flopped. Sometimes when unfiling prescriptions, you have to hit entire a thousand times. When process erxs, the software will close out randomly. Software is a little unstable and when they release updates, they don't do tests to see if they're compatible with other softwares like RMS POS

Poor performance

Comentários: The current situation is causing a great deal of frustration. The ESP team is helpful but has limited capabilities due to dependencies on the Dev Team. It is surprising that neither legal counsel nor a pharmacist is overseeing the regulations, requirements for controls, and tax laws for each state. The text messaging issue has persisted since August with no resolution yet. Additionally, there are promoted and charged functions that do not work as advertised.

Vantagens:

The data entry function, the work queue.

Desvantagens:

Text and email not working consistently. Missing multiple messages from 50% of customers. Offering free shipping and receiving customer complaints. PMP not functioning correctly. Control Team unfamiliar with all PMP requirements for different states. Recurring PMP errors without resolution. Approximately one hour spent correcting each error. Inability to calculate for Vet's and specific state requirements. The system inability to handle compounds Drug Interaction Checks are not accurate. No idea when the GSDD is updated or if it is even up to date. In the beginning Fill My Refill only worked for apple users but not Android.

MMS is THE system of today & tomorrow

Comentários: I have worked with MMS since 2017 & really like the constant updates to their system as the pharmacy profession evolves

Vantagens:

It's pretty easy to navigate the system & having training videos "on demand" helps with new hires or brushing up on specific parts of the system not used as often.

Desvantagens:

The medication cost (patient pay $ amount) isn't retained with every refill or editing rx's.

Comentários: When the program is running great there really are no concerns. Every time an upgrade is down there is no explanation on what has changed.

Vantagens:

The program itself has been fine as long as there are no issues.

Desvantagens:

Our inventory is always inaccurate. We have had to completely re due count a few times and still find inconsistences. It has been a little better since last update. It is very difficult to understand(language barrier) any staff we talk to when there are concerns.

I like how efficient it is and how easy it is to train someone to understand prime rx. It is self-explanatory.

There are too many glitches especially when there is an upgrade available.

The worst ever

Cases are open for months
Techs disappear once they dont know how to do things
Hours and hours over the phone trying to reach someone who knows what he is doing
They let the new techs train on our issues which wastes tons of time

With MMS for 20 years

Easy to use but to be fair this is all I used since I opened my own pharmacy

Desvantagens:

Expensive. I heard that Best Rx charges 16c for each transmission whereas MMS is 18c

PrimeRx is one of the BEST!!!

Comentários: I've had a wonderful experience with PrimeRx. Even when the whole Change healthcare scenario happened, the agents stayed in touch and emails were sent regularly, giving us clarity on how to proceed.

Vantagens:

It is extremely user friendly. Even if we get stuck on anything the chat option to connect to agents is extremely useful. I've used this feature several times especially when I've had a patient waiting to pick up their prescription.

Desvantagens:

I wish the new design was better than the classic theme.

The clinical drug database needs to be reassessed. Sometimes the drug interactions give completely inaccurate information. Comentários: We had been using PrimeRX for 10+ years with multiple pharmacies. PrimeRx provided top-notched and exceptional services to independent pharmacy owners.

Vantagens:

The system is very simple and has an user friendly interface. Training new staff to use the software is a breeze. They also have a lot of training videos online, and they offer training classes as well. Their customer support is great and have been able to resolve my issues quickly. Their support team and developers continue to be innovative in adding new features as well as adding functionality when requested. They respond promptly and problems are resolved very quickly. Their support team enjoys working with customers to fully understand the problems to produce the proper solutions. The software is built specifically for the independent pharmacy owner. They are definitely the market leaders in the independent pharmacy management solution space.

Desvantagens:

There's nothing I don't like about this software

Highs and lows

Vantagens:

Very user-friendly easy to use. Can train someone to use the software in matter or hours.

Desvantagens:

Good luck to tech support trying to rectify an issue. takes a few weeks at times, sometimes by fixing the issue, they create a new one. Not all customer support know what they are doing.

Also please use our support resources by sending your queries to [email protected]. For most cases when you need support to solve immediate issues, the support is right there, we looked at your call logs and see that for most cases where the pharmacy has called, (like label adjustments, assistance with a report etc.) you may not need immediate attention, By emailing the Support distribution list, instead of you finding the right department, the appropriate analyst will reach out to you. Softwar is improving

Comentários: Lots of bumps in the road. And a big learning curve. This last update has improved many things that were safety and quality concerns. Software is improving with time.

Vantagens:

Pharmacist Verification of prescriptions. Ability to order from 2 wholesale companies within the software. Be able to search by drug name within patient profile.

Desvantagens:

Inability to search by Rx number. Inability to put a hard expiration stop date on insurances. Customer service isn't always helpful and usually short or snooty with me when I call in.

Overall ease of use, I feel that they have enough features and functionality built in to run our business. Their support is amazing, the are available 24/7.

Drug prices needs to be entered manually into the software. Also extra charge for customer sign log is kind of unfair.

Dear PrimeRx user, Do appreciate your comments. We are not sure what do you mean by Drug prices needed to be entered manually in the software? This is an automated feature and we update Drug prices daily. We also provide free EDI Integration with your wholesalers, so that even the Cost of the Drugs can be updated automatically - hence we are not sure about why would you need to enter the prices in manually.
