We use Stripe because it is a widely trusted global payment collection software. We can use it for online payments and also in-person on a card machine which is helpful for in-person events. There are transaction fees applied however, there is no monthly charge. Stripe is easy to use with a dashboard showing your key figures. It is easy to navigate and find payment information, and reports which we use to verify income with our auditors. It offers a dispute section where you can easily return or refund payments should the need arrive. It creates a customer data base, storing information securely, and analyse is available. A test-mode function can also be used. > > **Desvantagens**: The transaction fee is quite high, and we were not able to negotiate a discount, however it was still deemed the best value for money for what we needed at the time, and we have no plans to move away from Stripe.
