Vantagens:

O suporte técnico de desenvolvedores é muito atencioso, sempre resolvem os problemas.

Desvantagens:

Não existe ainda o processamento com PIX, no mercado brasileiro isso seria essencial.

Comentários: Como usuário do Stripe, devo dizer que estou bastante satisfeito com a plataforma em geral. O processo de configuração foi relativamente fácil, e a documentação fornecida pelo Stripe é muito útil para entender as diferentes funcionalidades da plataforma.

Vantagens:

Comentários: 5-Star easy-to-use payment processing service, and any time further detail is needed on a transaction to help a customer or resolve an issue, Stripe provides great detail on all transactions making it possible to provide valuable information to customers to resolve issues, and ensure the customer gets what they pay for and the business receives the payment for goods/services as intended.

Vantagens:

The easiest to use, inexpensive fee structure and top-notch fraud prevention - Stripe is hands-down the best payment processing system I have used in my 10+ years leading Customer Support teams. With the exhaustive detail Stripe provides on every transaction, businesses and customers alike usually have an easy and secure experience checking out with Stripe.

Desvantagens:

Very few cons if any with Stripe. They seem to get things right in most aspects.

Best for small business

Comentários: Great, hope that if I need customer service it is a better experience.

Vantagens:

Stripe was super easy to integrate, easy for clients to pay, and never have issues.

Desvantagens:

I can't see a report detailing what client paid what, but my other program does that for me. Customer support when I switched banks took them 4 weeks of not listening to me to fix my accounts. They asked for the same documentation over 8 times literally. Once fixed though, it was fixed.

Fraud prevention is important!

Comentários: Not at all good. After my issue with transaction fraud, I could not speak to customer service. It’s virtually impossible to get someone on the phone or just get help in general as a small business owner.

Vantagens:

The ease of use, there are times when I can’t talk on the phone with a customer because I had one with me in person. I could send them to my website to make their payment and it would process immediately.

Desvantagens:

The fees taken per transaction and then the fees on top of that to transfer the funds and then the fees on top of that to keep the product. Too many fees Also, I had a customer dispute a transaction with her bank and won $2K. Stripe collected $2k from me and didn’t help me. I had the customer on camera, I had the contract with her signature and I had all emails/text messages from the customer. Stripe processed the dispute and lost. After that, I didn’t trust stripe. I stopped using them.

Endless possibilities, quick to implement, and great with integrations, but at a cost

Comentários: Stripe works very well, it's not free, and the fees stack up quite quickly, especially if you're selling internationally. However, I think it's such a complete platform and setting up everything is free, that it's worth the cost of transactions.
We mainly use it with low-code solutions such as Bubble.io. The documentation and support is excellent. Also, should you expand to full code, the documentation is so complete that's always a safe bet.
It does the job, it's a "set-it-and-forget-it" product great for starting with very low budget, and scales tremendously well as you grow.

Vantagens:

We work a lot with no code, especially with Bubble.io apps. I've had the chance to integrate Stripe on various project and the speed of implementations, support and seamlessness is really what makes this solution stand out. The user portal in which you can create your products, set up discount codes and coupons, personalize subscriptions etc. is really useful and it allows to set up your shop in a few hours. We mainly use it for SAAS subscriptions and we've never had any problem with payments, processing speed or process clarity.

Desvantagens:

Although setting up and starting out is free, the credit card commissions, exchange commissions and service for processing are quite high. Stripe eats a noticeable amount in fees, but still, it saves you so much time during the implementation and payment setup. As a startup it is really important to act quickly and have "set it and forget it" solutions for your infrastructure

We are very happy with Stripe

Vantagens:

We used a lot of payment gateways over the years and Stripe is the most reliable and easy to use. We highly recommend Stripe.

Desvantagens:

That there is no recourse if someone unjustly demands a refund, but that is a bank issue, not a Stripe issue. But it is something the industry needs to address. :)

Stripe for Online Business Owners

Comentários: I really have enjoyed using stripe! I am so grateful for a secure place to take clients payments.

Vantagens:

I really love that Stripe integrates with so many different platforms. I love that you can set up autopayments so that I can set up memberships with ease, and don't have to chase anyone down for their monthly fees.

Desvantagens:

I wish that it was easier for folx to pay with debit, or paypal with stripe, so that all integrations could be in one place.

We love Stripe. I can monitor our payments very efficiently, and effectively.

Comentários: We have never had any issues with Stripe. We find it to be a safe, and efficient way for our customers to pay.

Stripe is easy and flexible for setting up first-time billing for new products

Comentários: Stripe has been a great partner for enabling payments for products for us and the support on chat and phone has been crucial for our setup when documentation hasn't been enough.

Vantagens:

Pretty easy to set up many flexible options for subscriptions and has a simple UX for navigating metrics and overall health of the business. Great support too

Desvantagens:

Wish ACH credit transfer method could be removed so autopay could be made easier. The whole process for setting up recurring payments initially is not too straightforward and required help for us

Vantagens:

Easy to use and to link to my client management software.

Desvantagens:

I would prefer if the rate can be lower or if it was lowered based on how long you have been using stripe.

Super Easy to Set up and use

Vantagens:

The biggest benefit of this software is its ease of set up and use. Within minutes, you can set up a payment page or integrate with my website software.

Desvantagens:

The fees are a little bit higher than I would like, but the ease of using the service makes it a no-brainer.

Payment processing to suit your needs

Comentários: Originally, we were looking to implement metered subscriptions for our SaaS offering, and we needed something that would integrate with a solution for WordPress. Stripe had exactly what we needed, and has continued to be our preferred payments solution for any new services we offer.

Vantagens:

The flexibility of Stripe is enormous. Every little detail can be customized (or not), as your business needs dictate. The documentation and testing environments are extremely developer-friendly, the docs even include real examples from your activity in the testing environment. With all that, it's not difficult to get up and going with all the various implementations available. For the simplest use, signup, grab your keys, and plugin them into your e-commerce software.

Desvantagens:

This was so much easier than working with PayPal, I really can't think of anything negative. But perhaps something I like "least"? That would probably be the settings section for tweaking things like payment receipts, logos, colors, etc. Seems I have to go hunting a bit to find just what I'm looking for, though it doesn't take long, and once you have it setup, it's not like you'll have to change the settings often.

Hands down the most flexible and easy to use website payment system

Comentários: Internet payments used to be a HUGE headache, constantly worrying about setup, security, security and more security, but Stripe has really changed the game. It's made it possible for us to provide online payments for customers who would never have been able to afford the programming to do such a thing, or be able to afford the security measures necessary to properly take payments on their own. This is especially true because apart from the fees taken from each transaction, there is no recurring fee, which is a real asset to smaller businesses who don't do as much volume. On top of all that, the fact that the system is nearly seamless -- and MORE secure -- for the end user inputting their credit card information, is a huge win.

Vantagens:

By far the best thing about Stripe is the way that it so easily integrates with nearly any shopping cart system or website payment plugin/application we've ever come across. Any need we've had to take web payments Stripe has been able to seamlessly connect to our system, including setting up some custom systems that in the past would have been way too complicated for us to do on our own.

Desvantagens:

The biggest complaint we have -- and since we use it a lot for customers, the biggest gripe they have as well, is the way deposits are done. Instead of depositing the whole amount of the transaction, then debiting the fees, Stripe takes the fees out before the deposit -- so on a $10 transaction, you only see $9.50 (or whatever the amount comes out to be) deposited in your bank account and have to manually do the accounting to match that payment and the fees, etc. Admittedly, it's a small complaint, but I think it's the only thing that keeps us from using this 100% of the time.

A no-nonsense payment gateway for businesses of all sizes

Vantagens:

The prime aspect that I love the most about stripe is its very easy deployment with its direct API integrations. As a start-up that processes information through different channels, having stripe has made it hassle-free and seamless to analyse, manage, & track all our inbound payments using just our smartphones. We have and are continuing to save unnecessary banking costs with stripe. The no-code payment feature is a seller to companies like us who are looking to get one-time instant payments.

Desvantagens:

As the crypto market is gaining traction, especially with these alternative currencies going mainstream, it'd be great to have stripe regulate crypto in-bound payments as well. This is very critical for companies like us who consider crypto to be balance sheet assets.

Simply seamless

Comentários: Stripe is a vital tool for our Donor Department, as more and more of our donors choose to give with a credit card or debit card vs. gifts via check. The interface is easy to use, and I love the "Reports Overview " on the home page. I wish our donor CRM tool offered such convenient "at a glance" reports!

Vantagens:

I love the functionality. When our CRM software lets u know that a credit card gift was unable to process, I can go into Stripe and see how many times the system has retried the gift, as well as the decline code the donor's bank provided. Then when I call the donor I have a lot of info at my disposal. As far as the gifts that WERE processed correctly, it's very easy to export them into a simple spreadsheet, which I then submit to our Executive Director.

Desvantagens:

My regret is that I haven't looked more into the functionality of the software. There are likely things that Stripe offers that we are not utilizing. A suggestion for the developers at Stripe may be to send their users helpful "Are you aware of this feature?" type emails / letters

Handsdown the Best Payment Processor

Comentários: It's the best. Don't ever think of considering any other payment processer than a stripe. They are best at what they are doing. This company started in front of me, and now it's one of the largest payment processors in the world. The dashboard, the entire system is extremely easy to use.

Vantagens:

It's easy, relatively cheap, and easy to signup and set up. Have plugins for almost all major E-Commerce platforms. Relatively low transaction fees and thanks to stripe radar you get less fraudulent orders. Modern dashboard. If you get a chargeback it's really easy to fight back. Amazingly fast support. This software is our business backbone.

Desvantagens:

To be honest, I haven't found a single issue with this software. Just sometimes their verification can take a bit of time.

Stripe Simplifies Transactions and Maintains Security

Comentários: My business needed an improved, cost effective payment system, that was easy to use and seamless for customers, and Stripe provides that. What's more, the odd time I've needed to reach out to support, they've been very helpful. I can't think of the last time there was a challenge, it's been several years now, and things are running smoothly.

Vantagens:

I like that Stripe can grow with my business as they have robust services I can add later. I find it's easy to use, and was easy to set up (there were a lot of guides when I needed them). The odd time I've had to reach out to support, the experience was stellar. Above all... The best aspects for by business were the reliability, payment experience (for customers) and that Stripe provides better value for money.

Desvantagens:

While the setup was easy, it does require some technical understanding (and there are a lot of guides available - As well their support is great). Some people might not like that Stripe avoids high risk industries.

They make you pay extra for security

As many people have mentioned - they just refund customers saying its fraudulent when they are not - for a small business it hurts - its not safe to use - they do not check CVC numbers are correct you have to pay extra for that - very hard to set it up - only marginally cheaper than paypal. Takes 4 business days for payments to clear - ouch. Overall for the seller - this is a terrible product - to complicated to set up - hidden costs and they just flag failed CVC numbers as fraudulent because they dont use them being correct as a criteria - that feels like a scam to me
