Flipcause Does the Trick!

Comentários: They are our long term Fundraising CRM that has done the trick for over 5 years at this point. Unless another product comes along that does everything that Flipcause does but better for a similar price, we plan to stay with Flipcause!

Vantagens:

I like the cost of Flipcause the most. It is very effective and affordable. They also have a competent customer service team.

Desvantagens:

There are issues with making edits and deletion of human errors. I have to email customer service and it takes a few business days for it to be completed when I could've easily resolved it myself if I had the capability. They do have a great customer service team though!

Was Great but Things have Changed

Comentários: Recently it’s been pretty terrible. As a non-profit we need donations to function, so them not transferring the donations to our bank account makes it pretty useless.

Vantagens:

I think it is a really good interface for donors. I also appreciate the monthly donor option.

Desvantagens:

We have had Flipcause for over two years and never had a problem. We are a small nonprofit and rely heavily on individual donations. They claim to transfer funds no later than 10 business days after you request a transfer. The last 3 times I have requested a transfer, I have had to reach out to their accounting department to initiate the transfer after the 10 business days had passed. This time it has been nearly a month since I initiated the transfer and we still have not received our donations. I have put in multiple tickets through their support function. I keep being told accounting will reach out to me and they haven’t (it’s been 5 days). I have also directly emailed accounting twice with no response. I will not be able to pay our bills on time this week because they have not transferred our donations. The fact accounting can’t even give me an update is appalling. We will be trying to find a new a platform which will be a total pain if this isn’t resolved soon. They seem to be holding our donations hostage.

Comentários: Initially interactions when researching Flipcause, in mid-2022, were positive and promising. Fully implementing them and getting support transitioning our website in mid-2023 was less positive and a bit concerning. Ever since we've gotten fully implemented as of 7/1/23 the experience had steadily declined to the point there is zero support and next to no communication. It's not acceptable and as soon as we can get our money, if we get our money, we will be quickly moving away from them.

Vantagens:

They provide a helpful web package. As a small non-profit, being able to easily update our website, in tandem with implementing donor software, is why we opted to initially move to Flipcause. It is no longer worth the stress.

Desvantagens:

Virtually zero customer service/support. You cannot actually speak with anyone there; all communication must be through email. Throughout the past 18 months we've used them, their response time has gone from within 24 hours, to ignoring most emails altogether. It's infuriating. If you're reliant on the funds that you are raising to operate your nonprofit, be aware that they state that when you request a transfer of your funds it should hit your bank account within 7-10 business days. That timeline alone is ridiculous, but we could manage to that if it was accurate. Never, since we've utilized Flipcause, have we received our money in this time frame. The last transfer request took me a minimum of 5 emails to get a response out of the company, and well over three weeks of waiting, before we received our funds. When they provide a reason for the delay, it never sounds believable. As of right now, it's 12/4/24 and I'm still waiting to receive funds I requested be transferred to our bank account on 11/6/24.

A game-changer!

Comentários: Very satisfied! As a smaller, but growing non profit, Flipcause filled a critical need to manage our donations, create campaigns, and monitor relationships in a cost effective and user-friendly way.

Vantagens:

Our favorite features include an integrated merchant processing system to reduce fees, ease of creating campaigns, ease of accessing information about our financial partners and the VERY RESPONSIVE customer service team!

Desvantagens:

It is hard to integrate information from the transaction and contact reporting areas. It is not unusual to have to create 2 reports and then merge them to get the needed information. This is also true about the Group reports and transactions.

Comentários: Since our first day, it has been really easy to work with FlipCause. Once you get used to the fact that you really don't talk on the phone but communicate via email, it's so easy. They also are really good about teaching people how to work within FlipCuase on their own via instructional Loom videos. Love those!

Vantagens:

For our small nonprofit, FlipCause handles so much more than we could on our own - the website updating is amazing, the campaign creators are geniuses, and the reports are relatively easy to pull.

Desvantagens:

It seems there should be an easy way to run a report of the funds being transferred to the bank. I have yet to figure out how to do that easily and spend far too much time pulling out registrations versus donations so they can be entered into Quickbooks correctly.

Take Your Nonprofit to the next level

Comentários: For the program that it is, we've loved it and it has been a significant upgrade from what we used in the past. It also helped us to look more professional which helps when attracting donors and grants.

Vantagens:

Ease of creating and implementing campaigns for all different types of events. The ability to easily implement what you do on the back end to your website.

Desvantagens:

It took awhile to learn or teach the program to my staff, but they also offer tech support that is very reliable and quick. We'd love to see more options added to make the program a one stop shop (mass email and text service most commonly wanted).

So easy to use

Comentários: I think it's a fantastic tool for the smaller NP, such as the one I work for. IT makes donor management a piece of cake. The credit card processing and website integration is super easy for someone who has a LOT fo other responsibilities.

Vantagens:

I love that Flipcause has the lowest credit card processing fee I've ever seen. Ease of website edits is a huge plus as well. Although using the reports can be a little clunky, after a while I figured out how to pull the lists that I need.

Desvantagens:

Dislikes? Nothing comes to mind, to be honest.

Many great features and tons of help

Comentários: Flipcause enabled me to track donors and donations with much less work and more efficiency than the Excell spreadsheet I was using. When they added Web service, they improved my website and made it look more current. I make most small changes myself, but my Flipcause Success Team helps me with anything challenging or too time-consuming.

Vantagens:

Flipcause has enabled me to keep running my nonprofit without having to hire extra help. My Success Team is there to tweak anything, answer questions, create a new campaign, or update my web page. The Help content answers many of my questions, but most of it is easy to use. They also add new features that I love, like the Live Chat that gives me immediate answers to quick questions.

Desvantagens:

It was challenging to set up everything in the beginning, but it runs very smoothly for the most part. I wish someone would write new thank-you messages for each level of donation. My recurring donors must be tired of the same response every time!

Flipcause has helped us raise more money than we were able to before

Comentários: Flipcause is helping us to take in more donations because that is its focus. We are able to funnel program registrations through the Flipcause campaigns so that we get donations and people signing up for our programs. The tech support at Flipcause has been phenomenal and extremely helpful.

Vantagens:

I like the easy way we can set up campaigns, and then communicate with people that sign up or donate to that campaign. The interface is very flexible and thorough. Creating a website with Flipcause has also been easy to do, as is maintaining it.

Desvantagens:

It is missing a relational database which would be very useful to us. In addition, it doesn't have a batch mailer capability so we have to maintain a separate database for emailing people.

Flipcause is FANTASTIC for Non-Profits!!!

Vantagens:

I really like how easy Flipcause is to use for the many campaigns we have. I am able to customize each campaign with graphics and text in order to make them look very professional. Flipcause is much more user friendly and efficient than the database we used in the past for donation processing and event fundraising.

Desvantagens:

I needed an option for our donors and supporters to stay connected by signing up to receive our quarterly newsletters we send out in the mail as well as our e-blasts that we send out often. The only campaign I could make it work with was the "Volunteer" campaign option. It worked for the most part except that I can't customize the text that says "Current Opportunities" to say something like "Sign Up for our newsletters" or "Stay Connected" instead.

Vantagens:

Flipcause makes donor and funding management so much easier than it would be otherwise.

Desvantagens:

It would be nice to have the facility to speak with our Flipcause team; however, their speedy responsiveness and thorough handling of our concerns definitely make up for that.

Vantagens:

All information is in one spot instead of investing and piecing together different platforms to create the same things Flipcause offers. They quickly and easily help with creating campaigns we need.

Desvantagens:

I, personally, am not incredibly tech savvy. While I do fine, it takes a bit to remember how to do things. But they do offer a "Help" button that has plenty of information to guide me.

Flipcause Works!

Comentários: Our overall experience has been consistently great over the seven years we’ve used Flipcause. They offer practical self-guided tutorials and person to person customer service!

Vantagens:

This is a service that all nonprofit organizations need. Flipcause makes it possible for small nonprofit organizations! We couldn’t run campaigns, our merchant account, and database without them.

Desvantagens:

Flipcause raised their fees last year. We had to adjust to the increased cost but it is still worth the value we receive.

Comentários: Excellent experience overall, if I can't manage updates to the website, the support team does it for me promptly!

Vantagens:

The customer service is exceptional! It's easy to navigate through the pages and most features are pretty easy. I also like that contacts get automatically transferred to MailChimp!

The website portal is not super intuitive but possible to navigate after watching tutorials

No face to face interaction with technical support. Always through emails/video tutorials. The flipside is they are very efficient and helpful with their responses.

Easy-to-use Website Portal

Comentários: We're grateful to have received Flipcause as part of a grant program they offer. We look forward to further integrating it into our organizational procedures and protocols.

Vantagens:

The Website Portal is extremely user friendly and makes building and updating our website very easy. It's helped us increase our practice of accessibility by making it easy to include image descriptions and alt text. We are always asking folks to fill out forms and I find this feature on the Website Portal to be more secure than Google Forms as it provides us with more backend information. Also, the data and activity from our campaigns are consolidated and put on a transaction heat map on the Dashboard; it's fun to see it update as our network participates with our campaigns, donations, etc. and gives us information on the regions we can better prioritize.

Desvantagens:

Creating campaigns had a high learning curve for me but once I learned how to navigate it, it became easier and easier. At first, it took me a few hours to make a campaign landing page and now it takes 20-30 minutes as I can also duplicate and edit past campaigns.

The Staff, they made it simpler to learn how to use Flipcause and solved any problem I had.

Desvantagens:

For us and our mission, there's little con. Maybe emailing subscribers would be helpful when there's a better way to contact supporters.

The system helps us manage our workshop registrations as well as waivers for hunderds of users per year!

I don't know how to pull reports very well.
