Best VPN we have ever used

Comentários: Despite having pulse roll back con, Pulse secure is so far the best VPN in the market we have used.

Vantagens:

Network stability in Pulse vpn is far better than cisco any connect, all vpn gateways are displayed directly so its easy to connect to any gateway instead of using a drop-down menu in any other VPN, the interface is simple and easy to use for emploees. easy to troubleshoot issues.

Desvantagens:

Pulse setup roll back error occurs sometimes when we try to repair pulse secure, previously we used to change max filter settings in regedit ( in windows 7 ) but is no longer available in windows 10. need a fix for this issue.

Enterprise VPN when you need it

Comentários: Able to enable work from home for our team so they can continue to safely work.

Vantagens:

I like that it integrates with our Identity Provider. While not the most intuitive to set up and manage, once it is set up, it's been rock solid for years. Helpful to give our teams access to internal resources when a Zero Access solution is not the best fit.

Desvantagens:

With features very compartmentalized, there are many steps to set up a new VPN connection. Very much kitchen sink when it comes to features.

Impractical connection software

Vantagens:

This is VPN connection software with basic settings for users.

Desvantagens:

The software could be improved in its interface. It should also urgently have an option to save your login data. When the connection is lost, we always need to enter the credentials.

Easy to connect and stay connected

Vantagens:

This tool has been an enabler for people who have been forced to work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The best thing about it is that I have it set up to start whenever I boot up my machine ["C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Pulse Secure\Integration\pulselauncher.exe" -url <company Pulse Secure URL> -u <username> -p <password> -r <Pulse Secure Domain> (usually "Users")], and the pop-up that tells you when your session is about to expire is a nice touch!

Desvantagens:

I did not like the previous versions of this software as trying to figure out how to auto-connect at start-up and prevent connections being dropped was a bit challenging; it was hard to find any information or user guides.

Solid Secure VPN connection

Vantagens:

Easy VPN app with smooth connection and Microsoft authenticator integration

Desvantagens:

Can sometimes take a few minutes to get connected when working from home

Vantagens:

Users connect with SSO thus less hassle for them

A bit cumbersome when comes time to perform update

Simple Privileged Access for the Enterprise

Vantagens:

I interact with this software daily to access my company's VPN and have only ever had problems with it when there have been underlying network issues on our side. It is rock solid and does what it is designed to do.

Desvantagens:

To be perfectly honest, I have no issues with this software at all. Every so often my credentials are not accepted on the first try even though I know I got them right, but another quick entry usually gets me right in.

This is one of the best VPN tools used by world forturne 500 companies since because it has the global countries system to get connected. Using this software we can prevent our business and system from entering the unauthorized usage access as this has very secure firewall which blocks the fake requests that are being connected to the system and its good 2 Factor authentication helps us to join the client location servers in secure manner and work safely. this is the best software i ever seen

Desvantagens:

The least about this software is nothing but due to some maintainance activity the VPN gets hung though we will have another backup teritorry to get connected with but this helps in maintain the gap for business so this has to be improved

Gets the job done

Pulse Connect Secure provides a third party solution to manage client connections to organizational VPNs. The most effective attribute of this tool is that is it super easy to set up and configure on client devices. User experience-wise, the client provides a good deal of feedback on what is going on and allows connection through a lesser number of steps than other VPN client tools that are available.

Desvantagens:

Pulse Connect Secure has had compatibility issues with various versions of Mac OS in the past, and this has been slightly problematic at times.

An excellent secure connection authentication tool

Comentários: I use Connect Secure on a regular basis, multiple times during the day. The tool requires you to do a set up initially by asking you to perform a number of steps. The overall experience has been very good and the authentication process is very robust.

Vantagens:

Connect Secure is one of the best tools that I have used for connecting to virtual machines. The application sends automated notifications to your mobile phone and you also get the alternate option of going in the application and entering the code manually in case the automated notification doesn't trigger for some reason.

Desvantagens:

There were some challenges in getting this application on my registered mobile device for the first time and eventually I had to reach out to my IT desk to get the application installed on my phone. Apart from that there has not been any complications with the application.

Provides a secure, remote connection for all users

Comentários: My overall experience with Connect Secure is extremely positive. I've never had an issue using it, and have never had complaints from co-workers. Similarly, we have never experienced a security breach. It's a nice bit of security in a world filled with scammers and hackers.

Vantagens:

Connect Secure is a solution to provide a secure VPN connection for organizations. We use it daily. It's extremely simple to use and easy to set up. Ours is set up so that the connection lasts for approximately 8 hours (at which point you need to reenter credentials). It is a fast and secure service to enable optimization of our cloud services and data center applications. It works fine on laptops and other devices. What I like most about it is that once it's on, you're not even aware of it. Very seamless application.

Desvantagens:

The only thing I did not like about this software (and this could just be user-error) is that sometimes the shortcut icon disappears from my dashboard. Again, I don't think this is necessarily a flaw with the application but is probably user error.

Best securing app for your connection

So I have been using pulse from past 1 month in my company ,I can surely say that it is the best software out there to use if you are in a working environment. I was provided a licensed version from my company side,as I travel a lot and connect to the general wifi's ,I find it extremely useful to have. The verification process and the easy set up options makes it a cherry on the cake. You can verify connection either py push notification or even by 1 time otp generation. If you are a part of a company then I would highly recommend to use it.

Desvantagens:

There isn't anything that I don't like about this app. One thing that could be added is that for verification they can add a fingerprint option too as I mostly use otp and push notification generation from my mobile. Inbuilt fingerprint in laptop will be a great option for verification.

Flexible Software For Remote Access

Comentários: We use Connect Secure for remote access for employees and contractors.

Vantagens:

Connect Secure is very flexible in its configuration (server side). When creating bookmarks to access internal resources, fine grained access control is possible. It also supports single sign-on in many configurations.

Desvantagens:

The downside of the flexibility is that it is sometimes not easy to get a job done. Luckily support is very good in assisting in these cases.

Great way to secure remote network connection

Comentários: This is a great software and it has always been stable and reliable with no disconnections

Vantagens:

In these times where many people are working remotely this is an amazing, quick and secure way to connect to your company's network drive. Some of these software types require a code to be input periodically which can be a nuisance but this one is linked to your Windows password so you only need to sign in and leave it to run

Desvantagens:

Your company needs to ensure enough licences are bought in order to ensure everyone can connect. If there are too many concurrent users it won't allow you to connect

Easy to setup, easy to use. Simply a VPN favorite!

Comentários: Pulse Connect Secure allows me to safely remote desktop into my office workstation from anywhere!

Vantagens:

I've had the opportunity to continue using Pulse Secure throughout this year and I've learned to appreciate its simplicity over other VPN tools. I've installed it on my desktop and laptops without any problems and is easy to configure for my work connection. A simple Connect button really is all a VPN program needs and Pulse does it right. Once connected, I've never had any latency issues or disconnections, outside of those that could probably attributed to either host or client side connections. Pulse's connection is encrypted and you can rest assured that your connection is safe.

Desvantagens:

I don't have anything negative to say about Pulse as my opinion of it over time has just gotten better and I don't seem to experience the issues I used to have with it anymore.

Great when it works, incredibly frustrating when it doesn't

Comentários: This program gives me the ability to connect with my company's network, but isn't always reliable.

Vantagens:

The ease of use when you can get it to connect. It's a simple and straight forward way to connect to my companies network remotely.

Desvantagens:

The connections rarely ever work. There are always kinks to work out and the connection isn't reliable. Many times throughout a session it will just disconnect then it will be very difficult to get connected again. It's caused me to have to bother my coworkers that are in the office to send me files.

Using it for more than 5 years with no issues

Vantagens:

- For remote work, it is required that you connect to the office network to access the secured features and Pulse Connect Secure makes it very easy - It can be used to connect to different networks with a single click

Desvantagens:

- There have been issues intermittently connecting to the network but they are easily resolved by retrying

1. I like the ease in connecting to office VPN using this app. All I need to click on its icon and connect to the gateway I wish to use. Give the username and token code [ generated on RSA app on smartphone]. It will connect me to the VPN within few seconds. 2. I can check the connectivity easily, by seeing the green colour status of the arrow on its icon at the bottom of the screen. 3. I have not observed hanging of app or forcibly killing the session till now

Desvantagens:

When I right click the connect secure icon and open the first tab of "Open pulse secure. All the gateways are listed there. Expanding any of them using arrow button, opens the detail but with noticeably shaking of the GUI. It happens to all whether the gateway is connected or disconnected state. 2. I did not like the help page. Both the content as well as its font, formatting etc looks obsolete

Vantagens:

This program has allowed me to be able to work from home or anywhere. I even can access work via Connect Secure apps on my iphone and ipad

Desvantagens:

Logs me out relatively quickly if Ive been idle for only like 2 mins

Medical School remote connection

Vantagens:

Secure, safe, user friendly way to remote connect to network on medical center university

Desvantagens:

After 3 years I cant think of any cons. Pulse secure does a great job at what its supposed to do

Okay to use

Vantagens:

My company requires a VPN for most sites we use. I like that we are looking forward to keeping things secure and this works.

Desvantagens:

IT will auto log you out and you have to log back in. It also will take some time to get you online.

Excellent secure way to login to the machine

Vantagens:

We are using this Pulse secure from last year. No doubt it is most efficient, fast and secured way to login to our machine. Easy to use and handle.

I have been working with Pulse for nearly 2 years. It has a few issues but overall it's been good.

Comentários: It has enabled me to work remotely for a company based in NY while I'm in CA.

Vantagens:

I like the integration with my phone, that I can work from anywhere and access the VPN via permissions set on my phone.

Desvantagens:

Sometimes the software seems slow. Sometimes the phone integration doesn't always work so smoothly (i.e., phone randomly won't make sound when it prompts for my touch permission).
