I have been with workiz for over 4 years now, since their name was send a job. They developed an easy to use software to manage Jobs, Technicians and the business as a whole.
I have talked to tech about it but either they don't believe me or it is so random there is no way to track it.

Great product if you own a cleaning service!
Comentários: My over all experience with this software for daily dispatching of jobs and also invoicing has been good.
Vantagens:
I like that any of my workers can send an "On My Way" text message to the customer all thru the Mobile App.
Desvantagens:
The fact that it only shows a "Tech Confirmation" for only one tech per job, even though your able to add additional techs to the job.

3 years with Workiz and then this….

My overall experience with Workiz. Three years of use and it took me three years to write a review that they deserved a long long time ago. It’s nice to know that three years down the road I still have nothing but nice things to say about Workiz and the great people that work at Workiz.
It was a recent interaction with Workiz that was just over the top amazing when I thought I had already been amazed by them. I wish I knew the person I spoke with name but I don’t but they deserve s as huge shout out and Thank you from FUN FIX USA
Vantagens:
We have been using Workiz for three years of our business after trying all the other ones for a brief time. We’re keys at the time had everything we needed plus they had more and when I say more it was a huge thing for us and that was the ability to have our phone ran through them. So they have a whole phone system that you can customize with different phone numbers and different answering options like virtual receptionist etc. and then when the client calls or the customer calls it will either pull up an existing customer that’s been input with that phone number or any other relevant information that it has. It didn’t make scheduling real easy when you just add a new job for the number that just called you. I don’t think I have found another company that offered the phone with the software and in addition the software really really exceeds all of our needs and I’m sure we’re not even using a third of its capabilities. And then the customer support. In three years I can only say I’ve probably had to talk to them 5 to 7 times total. Normally, it’s not even a call, I just go to the chat bot thing on their website and then someone is always right there in general they will pick up the phone and call me right away to assist in anyway that they can. It is weird because I don’t know how big Workiz as a company is but it feels like I may be one of 10 customers and they might have four or five employees. It feels very small almost like a family. I Would highly recommend EVERYONE!
Desvantagens:
The one thing I like least about the software which is actually a huge factor and has really kind of been left weighing our options but they offer customer self scheduling where you can put a link in your website to allow the customer to contact you and schedule service which is great but you can’t charge the customer from there. So each customer I then have toReach out to so that I can charge them so it’s kind of double stepping in makes more work and I’m hoping they change it because every other company out there I’m finding does offer that ability. If a customer wants a service call is $128 and they want to schedule it online and pay for it because they won’t be there at the time of service well then it doesn’t allow them to do that. They can tell us they want it but then we have to turn around and call them back and it makes a one step conversation now a multiple step conversation. Come on Workiz
Greedy and not user friendly
Comentários: Incredibly disappointing. I would only recommend this platform to my competition.
Vantagens:
Aesthetics are good, easy to read schedule board.
Desvantagens:
Customer service is the absolute worst. They are constantly implementing new "features" or changes, rather than improving the current flaws. They are constantly trying to increase their bottom line, rather than maintain their current customers.

Changed from Quickbooks to Workiz - Best Decision Ever!
Comentários: Overall it's been great, some learning curves but even my guys will contact support if they need help which in this day and age where everybody is spoon fed that it awesome. I will continue to use this software for the foreseeable future.
Vantagens:
We use the system with our Call Center and it's amazing, the staff was trained within a day for being able to use the needed features and they've been working the rest when they have the time. Excellent time based scheduling, EXCELLENT customer notifications and awareness for the clients which is way more than I expected.
Desvantagens:
The only con I had/have is that for CDN companies it's expensive and was almost the one issue in which we didn't go this route. I did manage to work with one of the guys and figured out how to best get what I wanted to start and then to be able to grow. With his input we would have gone another route and I'm really glad we didn't. Bar none the best software I've used to date in my company.
WorkIz is a game changer!
Comentários: After testing out a few other client/job platforms, WorkIz turned out to be head and shoulders above the rest. The customer service people are super-responsive to input, are easy to reach, and take care of their clients. Highly recommend!!
Vantagens:
Being able to have client/job information at our fingertips has transformed how our business is able to function. Before Workiz, job & client information, as well as job scheduling, was a manual process. With WorkIz, every one on our staff, from people in the office to staff out in the field, is able to access job & client information from their phones or laptops. Sending estimates to clients has enabled us to add photos and other information with our quotes. This has really set us apart from our competitors. Online payment capability is a real plus, as some clients don't feel comfortable sharing their credit card information.
Desvantagens:
Search feature isn't as good as I'd like, but still better than the manual system we had prior to WorkIz. I wish there were a more streamlined process for setting up one account for repeat clients with multiple jobs. WorkIz has improved this somewhat in the past year, and I hope they will continue to do so. Would LOVE to be able to enter more than one email address on the main client page.

Calls dropping
Comentários: If the call system isn’t fixed and the time shortened on deposits I can no longer work with Workiz
Vantagens:
Ease of invoicing and all in one service app.
Desvantagens:
Calls continue to drop, get lost, not go through. The waiting times on receiving money is extensive.

Don’t bother workiz is a bad product and they are scammers
Comentários: Don’t go with Workiz they are a bunch of scammers. We used it for about 8 months but it was really buggy and for a plumbing company it didn’t have the capability to do what we needed. We weren’t receiving text messages on the free system and we already started getting angry customers so we decided to not go ahead with the paid phone system as we didn’t trust it would work well enough. They proceeded to charge us for it for 6 months and flat out refused to refund us for a service we asked them not to provide and didn’t receive. The customer service is terrible. We would just get completely ignored and still are 6 months later. They said they could only issue a credit but since we cancelled Workiz all together we can’t use the credit so it’s tough luck. Why do we have to pay for their error? We clearly cancelled it and I have shown them the screenshots of all the communication but we are continuing to be ignored. Don’t bother wasting your time with these scammers. Use Housecall Pro instead it’s so much better!

The only good thing about Workiz is it was so bad that we cancelled it and now have a really great system to use. Housecall Pro is so much better!
Desvantagens:
•Couldn’t search by unit number meaning we had to click through each unit in a building or complex to find what we needed. •The accounting made our lives so much more difficult was a complete joke.•Text message system didn’t work. Communication would get lost causing unhappy customers •Mobile app was extremely buggy, barely useable• Very complicated to have ongoing jobs that you return to with multiple technicians. Needed to create tasks in each job but then they didn’t get all the information. Basically made it more work making it pointless using Workiz in the first place.

Mediocre at best
Comentários: I would say overall would never come back to utilize the service. I've utilized plenty of different softwares and this used to be great when it was SendAjob but since the transition to Workiz. You guys fall short and don't meet our needs. Maybe a one man show and or someone who doesn't need detailed, efficient workflow.
Vantagens:
It seemed like a great software that would be able to customized to our needs. They used to be "SendAJob." When they were the service was great and flowed well.
Desvantagens:
The cons can go on and on. Very hard to distinguish the schedule. if you need a client with multiple properties and sub addresses this is the worst software I have ever encountered for such client management. The card processing wasn't efficient. the technical team when needed would only answer very generic and not try to create solutions.

We've just launched an update to our CC payments and we're soon launching more automations for owners of larger businesses as yourselves. Check out another software and share with us your experience. No software is perfect but we're sure we can beat our competition... Would love it if you gave us another shot soon :-)
Quick Software
Comentários: Overall the software does what I need it to do very well with a couple of exceptions. The software is quick and efficient to get my tasks accomplished.
Vantagens:
Learning the software was pretty quick and simple. I love how fast the software and how booking the job is all on the same page. Being able to add pictures to each job is great. I like being able to assign the job to a technician and it turns the color of that technician. It makes dispatching simple. The reports are also another wonderful feature that makes it easier to determine job numbers.
Desvantagens:
I do not like how you cannot block off the schedule for a specific metro. We have three metros at Junk Doctors (Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh) and I am not able to just block off Charlotte without blocking off Raleigh and Greensboro. This leads to over scheduling issues for us. The QuickBooks transfer has not been very smooth on our end. We are having to manually enter most of our transactions into QB's.

Unfortunately, our journey together has been marred by frequent technical issues that have proven incredibly challenging to resolve. These ongoing problems have caused significant damage to my company, leading to frustration and hindered productivity.Furthermore, I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with my account manager, [sensitive content hidden]. Despite his role being crucial in assisting with business-related matters, I found him to be consistently unresponsive and lacking the proactive approach necessary to address our concerns effectively. It is regrettable that he did not demonstrate the required qualifications for his position, leaving me feeling unsupported throughout our partnership.Compounding these issues, I recently discovered that Workiz charged me for an annual renewal without obtaining my authorization. Upon raising this matter with [sensitive content hidden], he assured me of a 100% refund. However, to my disappointment, he was unable to fulfill his promise, leaving me feeling further let down and dissatisfied with the overall experience.I understand that technical challenges are not uncommon, and mistakes can happen. It Helps!
Comentários: I do love the software. If they can work out those few minor things, then I would say it is the perfect software. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with it.
Vantagens:
I like the scheduling feature, and sales tracking feature the most. It saves me time.
Desvantagens:
The app does not always display the unit number for apartments without having to go through 2 screens to get to it. When your phone lags, it's frustrating. Scrolling through the calendar in the phone app can be challenging. If you scroll past a certain dat, you cannot easily scroll backwards, you have to drop down the calendar to go back to the date.

This is a great product for scheduling, lead & Job creation, estimates and invoicing.
Comentários: It's great for scheduling and support is always great and helpful.
Vantagens:
The ability to schedule jobs and have my clients and field technicians notified by text or email to confirm back.
Desvantagens:
the CRM portion of the client management is not great. It's not fluid. I want the ability to use it like I am flipping through an electronic database and it is slow and doesn't allow me to go by record or by sale date. I do a lot of phone cross selling and this program doesn't help me.

Gets worse with time

Customer service has yet to get us any results to speak of, with a dozen or so attempts at various issues.
They just recently removed a field for invoice and part numbers. We have had that field available from day one and use it multiple times each day. Customer service says it wasn't a popular item so they removed it.
So much for tracking parts or invoices...
Vantagens:
Pros: The app is yellow and I do like the color yellow.
Desvantagens:
Complete garbage. Worst mapping on the planet, cumbersome software forces you to use an app and the web based "portal" to complete a workorder, they remove features without warning or apology, support is a complete waste of time

Workiz is great!
Vantagens:
It’s easy to learn and keep up with for the most part. There’s usually someone available to help me and if they’re not because it’s the middle of the night, I always get an answer in the morning.
Desvantagens:
Some things can’t be done on cell phone

I wouldn’t change anything. Once I got the hang of it it was seemed.
Horrible do not use

this has cost me thousands, this would tell my customers that we had no availability and if it did say that we where available it would say the available times were from midnight to 8am in the morning we are a moving company and this one this cut our business in half
Great product but support is not so good.
Comentários: It has been able to run our business very well, there have been problems with response time. When these problems happen it does not seem that there is anyone there that really knows how to fix it. Deposit Report does not go to an excel file and I have been asking for 14 months for that to be fixed. Still no fix as of May 2022.
Vantagens:
Easy to use and set up. Great start up product.
Desvantagens:
Product Security doesn't work. The support team always has a canned answer that this is the way it works. Nothing ever seems to get fixed. In 14 months 0 requests have been filled.
Decent software for field service industry.
Vantagens:
This software has phone and text integration which allows administrators to mask customer phone numbers. This is a great feature for the industry I work in. Workiz is also intuitive in matching up calls and texts to existing clients and jobs. The ability to text your customer their invoice that they can then pay online is super helpful.
Desvantagens:
We experienced quite a few issue getting the app to work correctly on our technicians' phones. This caused some "buy in" issues that we've still not overcome. Also, our phone system was set up wrong and Workiz turned it off for a whole day, then charged us money to set it up. I still am not sure if we are getting what the salesperson told us we would for the pricing structure we chose.

Routing is made easy with the map. Easy to Keep track of Clients .
Desvantagens:
It works well with the browser but the app is not that good. When using from a tablet you can only use it vertically and are not able to turn the screen horizontal.

Great Service Software
Comentários: Our overall experience with Wirkiz has been very positive and they are working on continuous improvements for software. There are always tying to make it work better.
Vantagens:
I found this software to be very easy to set up and implement for organization. After we set up a few settings and loaded some products we were up and running within a couple of days. We were able to implement the software and training with no problems.
Desvantagens:
We would like the ability to see a product photo of in the software and we would like to have the option to send out PDF attachments not just a picture/

Work is is a fantastic app

It has all of the tools that I need to run my service business. Technicians can easily access their daily job site calendars and all pertinent information.
Desvantagens:
There is no editable PDF forms available. I would like to see the ability to add editable PDF documents.

Great CRM for service business
Comentários: As mentioned in the pros section above overall I think it's a great service business software, especially for small and growing businesses.
Vantagens:
I love the calling features, the dashboard is really easy to use, I love the customizable options, the reports are great but they can do a little better with balances, overall its a great sofware.
Desvantagens:
The mobile app is a bit limited, especially for dispatch use, notifications don't really come through well on my iPhone 12 even though my notification settings are on. I'm guessing it's more tailored to field techs.

Excellent for Contractors with Dispatch
Comentários:
Price us very competitive against other providers and in general for what we are getting.
Scheduling, invoicing and dispatch are all solved in this platform.
Vantagens:
The software is a great communication tool between the office the teams in the field and most important the client. Scheduling is a very easy and offers a clear view of the daily and weekly plan.
Desvantagens:
Waiting for them to provide MMS capabilities.

WorkIz for HVAC Company
Comentários: We just integrated the Commission feature and it is a big timesaver.
Vantagens:
The integration process was very simple and so far, our technicians have adapted to the app. It is great having our customer base in one place and a history of previous jobs so we can look back and make an educated diagnosis.
Desvantagens:
I do not like that I can't delete jobs when needed. Also, sometimes it's tedious going all the way back when I'm trying to research something and I have to start all over again.
