A simple and intuitive platform to streamline procurement, purchasing and order management
Vantagens:
Precoro allows us to simplify and streamline our ordering process, from the statement of requirement to PO validation flow, to vendor management, to invoicing and reconciliation. It is a 100% SaaS platform, so easy to access and no maintenance required.
Desvantagens:
The invoicing piece could be easier to use. If a supplier generates part invoices for an order, it's still a bit awkward to manage if it has not been split properly when drafting the PO. Hopefully the new features such as Service PO and Blanket PO should resolve this.

I like the look in the usability of the system. I also like that you can put vendors in and they Can have access as well to the system.

Excellent Platform for Non-profits
Vantagens:
As a non-profit, we needed something functional, user friendly and cost effective. Precoro has changed the way we operate. We have a very complex multi-company set-up and Precoro has helped us to better organize and manage the purchase order process and tracking approvals. I would highly recommend to any non-profit. The customer service has also been beyond amazing.
Desvantagens:
Not so much of a con but more of a wish list item. Because we do have a complex set-up, I would like to see a multi-level workflow. Precoro has been great at listening to my suggestions over the years and we have worked closely together. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say.

Helpful to a non-book keeper
Comentários: What was a black box and invisible to me has become visible and useful.
Vantagens:
Precoro has helped me to make financial decisions and to easily manage my account. The ease of the platform and the immediate access to my budget balances in real time have simplified my processes and improved my effeciency.

The system logs out fast and does not safe your passwords, so I have to login several times a day.

I've been using Precoro for a bit now, and it has really streamlined our procurement process. Here’s my honest take on it: Pros Super Easy to Start and Submit Orders for POs: One of the standout features is how user-friendly it is. I didn’t need a lot of training to get the hang of it. Creating and submitting purchase orders (POs) is straightforward and hassle-free. It’s definitely one of the easiest systems I’ve used. Clear Options for Grants and Item Categories: I also appreciate how clear and organized it is when choosing grants and item categories. This helps keep everything sorted and ensures that purchases are correctly allocated. It saves a lot of time and reduces confusion, especially when dealing with multiple grants and categories.
Desvantagens:
Cons Needs a Bulk Import Feature for POs: The only downside I’ve noticed is the lack of a bulk import feature for creating POs. This would be a huge time-saver, especially during busy times or for larger organizations with a lot of orders to place. Hopefully, they add this feature soon.

A fantastic, easy-to-use procurement software

Vantagens:
Precoro is very easy to use compared to other procurement/PO software in the market. The UI is clean. I love using the graphs from the 'Reports' to keep track of the spending for my project.
Desvantagens:
Not really a con but with any other new software, there will be a slight leaning curve for first time users jumping into Precoro.

Precoro Makes Purchasing Easy
Comentários: In the short time we have been using Precoro, we have been quite satisfied. Going from a manual process to an online, streamlined process with Precoro has been quick and smooth. The Note and Link options within Precoro have been invaluable in communicating internally so that everyone has full disclosure and gets what they need in a timely fashion.
Vantagens:
The software is very user friendly by providing at-a-glance statistics, a dashboard to reach the different modules without hassle, and makes it easy for even the most non tech savvy person to understand. We so appreciate the option to make recurring purchase orders in Precoro to save the Purchasing team valuable time and the ease of the RFP process. So far our support staff and clinical team has adapted quite nicely to Precoro with no major issues and are pleased to be able to track the status of their requests without contacting the Purchasing team and taking them off task to find and research orders.
Desvantagens:
The least favorite feature for our Purchasing team is the inability to print a range of purchase orders simultaneously. That option would save extra time, but the speed of downloading the PDF files is quicker than our last platform.

Superb tool for controlling purchases and expenses
Comentários: The solution is more efficient than manual tracking methods and has helped us to significantly boost our output. It's simple to learn and its cost is low enough that even a startup like ours can afford it.
Vantagens:
Our company uses Precoro as its procurement system to streamline the formerly manual processes involved in the purchasing process. The company's whole procurement cycle can be managed at the departmental or regional level with the help of this program.
Desvantagens:
Since the PR's accompanying documents and comments did not make it through to the PO, we will need to retype them and attach the documents once again.

One of the good application for small scale business
Comentários: Precoro is great for a small scale business to track of every order by supplier, P.O. they are also integrated with Quickbooks but have some bus issues sometimes like missing of VAT when migrated to Quickbooks. They also provide a variety of reports for month end purposes. Plus, we can design a manual report based on one's needs.

Few bugs relating to invoice posting, where VAT missed when migrated to Quickbooks

Paper to Digital
Comentários: Great, now that I have used it more. Really helps finding out what is going on.
Vantagens:
Previously our system was on paper. Finding out the status of the parts order was a chore. working with volunteers that are not here everyday, it was difficult to do a paper trail of what was done.
Desvantagens:
Learning where to find the information you need. Some of our volunteers are older and not as computer savvy. That is our challenge now.

Comentários: Precoro has delivered on so many of our requirements and continues to adapt to our needs. Precoro has allowed us to implement our paper-based processes to a digital platform and provided us with additional functionality that has been of great use to our department. I would recommend this application to any growing or established organisation.
Vantagens:
The thing I enjoy most about the software and Precoro as a whole. Is how much the software adapts to the growing needs of our organization. Allowing us to manage the PO and PR approval process digitally, monitor budgets on a digital platform. Precoro has provided greater visibility of our spending across projects, suppliers, and locations. It has increased our Purchase order process dramatically and provided user-friendly reporting functionality.
Desvantagens:
Initially, the speed at which the software could adapt to our needs. At present, this has improved over the years. It's great to work with an organization that listens to your needs and tries to accommodate them where possible. But there are still features that could be improved .e.g. customization of the PO layout, customization of text sent out with purchase orders, and allocating mandatory/non-mandatory budgets.

more effective overall procurement process
Vantagens:
Precoro mobile web version and approval from email allow me to do it from everywhere. In addition, we now know in real-time how much we're spending on each budget.l In just a few weeks using precoro we saw tremendous improvement in our process, especially around budgets and approvals. We use Quickbooks for accounting but it was a struggle because we didn't know how much was left in a specific budget and if it's okay to approve a request or not. It wasn't very easy for us. We were looking for many different solutions, but many services were unfriendly or didn't have all the functionality we needed. I'm so happy that we've found an excellent automated, integrated QB solution - Precoro!
Desvantagens:
We have 2 people who make PO and separately approvers. They constantly need to revise PO and increase the amount through tolerance rate for receiving. It is very often the case that one creator is hired, and another can do it. but he hasn't a revised button because he is not in the approval flow.

We got everything we needed and even more
Vantagens:
We had a system for tracking direct purchasing, but we faced increased demand for purchasing supporting materials - packaging, warehouse goods, shopping goods, ripping, and no system for these needs. There were difficulties with tracking the number of goods in the warehouse and processing requests from the warehouse and shops - there were sent by mail, etc. Now we have a great multi-user platform that serves our 100 employees well. We track all our requisitions and purchases for raw materials, intricate parts, that are procured daily from over 50 suppliers around the globe. Precoro is asy to learn and use, the features we need are built-in, and we didn't have to do a lot of customization!
Desvantagens:
Great program. I haven't had any issues with using Precoro.

My recommendation for any business
Comentários: The whole process was managed through excel. We had 300-500 PO/ month and 3 procurement managers. The main problem was that it was very difficult to track the process in excel and communicate with the requesters (give an update on the status of their request) and the office manager (the person who receives the goods). Precoro - is the solution to problems we had. We forgot about excel and the lack of time for our procurement managers. That’s much better to optimize the process through this software than hire more employees.
Vantagens:
We like automatically updating statutes and simplifying communication between requesters and the office manager. I noticed reducing the processing time for the request. It was about 2-3 days, now - usually not more than 20 minutes. Their customer support team is brilliant! [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] closely goes through all questions we have and always listens to our needs.
Desvantagens:
Within the company, PR as a document is essential. We print them, sign them, seal them, keep them. It is necessary for us to have a logo on the PR.
