Comentários: Tresorit fits in neatly with our Secure Storage needs. Its just what we were looking for

Vantagens:

High level of security snd dependability Easy to implement Integrates perfectly with our security needs

Desvantagens:

What frustrates me is my inability to utilise features which i value on account of cost

Comentários: Absolutely excellent experience. Going from hard drive manual back-up to this has helped a lot, allowing me to have my files saved automatically and accessible amywhere. I have never had problems with losing work, or not finding previous versions thanks to Tresorit's many tools. Also the perfect way to share files with friends and colleagues.

Vantagens:

- Plenty of secure storage (with top-quality encryption) - Constant upload (saves your files whenever you update them), so you're sure not to lose anything - Good file recovery - Excellent for sharing large files (with both Tresorit users and non) and for sharing them securely (can require a password and such) - Extremely easy to use, with a clean user interface - Possibility to access files from mobile phone and other devices is very useful

Desvantagens:

Only thing I am missing as a Premium user is the "File Request" function (to receive large files securely from others) and possibly some more control on who sees the files you share.

Unstable on the Mac and problematic

Vantagens:

Seems secure, at least that's the promise, besides the user interface OK (but nothing special, dropbox is much better). Used Tresorit for a few years and can't really find more advantages.

Desvantagens:

- The app freezes very often, sometimes it's so bad that it can even freeze the entire machine (Mac) - Recently I've maxed out my storage and now it freezes shortly after the app is launched - It won't sync files that contain special characters. So for example, if you have lots of links to websites saved as files (they often contain "|" and other special chars) then these files won't sync. Tresorit team knows about it and hasn't done anything to fix it over the years - It often doesn't create links to shared files when using the context menu - it's hit or miss Bottom line: not all files get synced and it's very unstable. I do not recommend Tresorit. Where do all the good reviews come from? Maybe Windows version is better?

Tresorit is a good choice for GDPR safe cloud backup

Comentários: Hassle-free.

Vantagens:

It's very easy to setup, can run in the background and just does what it should do: Encrypting and backing up your data in a safe place.

Desvantagens:

Compared to other solutions it is a bit more expensive.

Tresorit is in a league of its own.

Vantagens:

Easy and powerful. Very secure. Search works. Can store anything I want. No weird one photo at a time like drop box. Super easy to share and control sharing unlike Gdrive.

Desvantagens:

I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t like about tresorit. I’ve been waiting for this solution for over a decade. They nailed it.

Total Security of your web assets

Comentários: total comfort and peach with all the web assets, highly recommended

Vantagens:

The user interfaces, version of the documents, encryption and the way it syncs in many devices,, just love this

Desvantagens:

The price and the search options i have been telling tresorit since i have started uusing it since its inception, seen the feature now though

Great software for cloud storage

Vantagens:

Tresorit offers a great platform for storing documents in the cloud and allowing members from our team to access documents across the office, whether they are in office or working remotely. It is very easy to use and share with other. We have had no issues with security and we trust that our information is safe in the cloud.

Desvantagens:

It is not as popular as other cloud storage platforms and therefore sometimes we have issues integrating third party applications.

Tresorit makes my life as photographer easier

Vantagens:

I love, that I can be sure on any time, that I can access all my documents and pictures where and when I want. And I'm super happy, that they are secure. Especially, when it comes to sharing the pictures with my clients.

Desvantagens:

I would love to synchronize not only the camera roll folder on my mobile automatically. Hopefully this feature will be introduced soon.

Safe and sound, but expensive

Comentários: It is definitely worth the money.

Vantagens:

Tresorit is the best and safest on the market, I think.

Desvantagens:

But it comes with a price (it is about 10 times as expensive as Dropbox, if you reckon in terms of Gbs). And you cannot access Tresorit through Webdav, so not through external clients. The good news is that the new iOS files app does allow access.

Apache vs tresorit sync folders

Comentários: I am able to manage my work on multiple computers / devices and continuously / seamlessly work on different devices without worrying about files being updated to the latest version

Vantagens:

I can put my apache localhost folder inside the folders that tresorit syncronises and be able to use php+mysql while tresorit is running (can't do it with onedrive)

Desvantagens:

mobile application could be little bit faster / more user friendly

User-friendly, does its job well

Comentários: Very useful in enabling fast and (relatively) seamless team collaboration and file sharing across multiple teams and users within the organisation

Vantagens:

Team management / permissioning was easy (access controls easy to set up)Works just like a folder in Windows - very convenient to use. Supports collaboration well in that multiple users can access the same folders and files, and the check-out function is handy in ensuring that user / versioning conflicts are avoided and minimised.Windows folder integration is fast.

Desvantagens:

The app itself is slower to navigate and a bit more challenging to use as compared to the windows-style folder. Internal use is easy, but giving someone who is not part of our org access on a temporary basis is more difficult (they need to set up an account which is tedious - no 'temporary pass' function)

THE BEST and Most Secure Corporate File Sharing Solution

Comentários: We use Tresorit to share critical and sensitive documents between our various teams. Users on different OS and hardware platforms has been flawlessly implemented.

Vantagens:

The P2P encryption and other security measures was critical to our selection.

Desvantagens:

Honestly, I cannot think of one thing that we do not like about Tresorit. They NAILED it!

Excellent product

The reliability and ease of use; the version control; the seamless sync function.

Well, pretty nothing appears to me to be 'liked least'.

Review of my interrest for Tresotit

Comentários: I have been using this program since my former one (Wala) stopped its exploitation in 2015.
I only rarely requested help from Tresorit for problems, all were solved.

Vantagens:

The local encryption and fully encrypted storage and transfer in the cloud is the main feature I am looking for with such a program. Tresorit achieves this goal.

Desvantagens:

The program is as a whole easy to handle, though some features (sync in particular) need some practice before acquiring full confidence in the safety of the process.

Safe harbor for my files

Vantagens:

As a writer and journalist, it is important for me to protect information from sources. Tresorit has protected storage in the EU and this keeps my files reasonably safe. Synchronization between my devices works flawlessly.

Desvantagens:

Collaboration features with MS Office, Google Drive or iCloud could be better from a point of view of user experience, certainly on iOS devices. For me, this is not essential, but it could refrain possible customers from switching.

Tresorit Linux and Windows

Comentários: Backing up my documents and sharing them amongst my different computer and sharing with a small team

Vantagens:

I moved from dropbox because of end-to-end encryption so the end-to-end encryption is what I liked most. Having said that, the application interface is really easy to use and so is the web-based interface. Also, I needed to have something which works on linux since half my computers run linux.

Desvantagens:

The ability to be able to collaboratively edit microsoft word documents is a weakness.

One of the best business alternatives to dropbox

Comentários: A couple of years ago we searched a secure alternative to Dropbox. We found Wuala. With the discontinuation of Wuala, we migrated to Tresorit.

Vantagens:

Easy to use as a Dropbox. Easy to share project folders in teams. Secure data storage and sync.

Desvantagens:

We were missing a backup and recovery system à la glacier.

Perfect solution

Vantagens:

Encrypted data transmission, simple operation, reliable functionality, EU compliant

Desvantagens:

I can not find any disadvantages at the moment

My only choice for secure cloud backup

Comentários: Great! Easy to install and use. However, I am a software engineer.

Vantagens:

I mostly use it as a secure backup of my personal data. I love the automatic sync feature: set it and forget it. I occasionally share some files with others that time out and I also store my password vault within Tresorit. I highly appreciate that the company operates under Swiss laws.

Desvantagens:

User must trust Tresorit. Full trust can only be gained with open source code. It would be nice to pick the physical location of my files.

Ditched Dropbox for Tresorit and very happy

Comentários: Easy to use, reliable, flexible. Just what's needed for this type of software.

Vantagens:

Knowing about the encryption is reassuring, but the performance of the file synchronisation is much better than Dropbox. This is really good. I have a large amount of files and Dropbox used to have problems regularly where the file synchronisation was working for hours. Tresorit does the file synchronisation as I'D expect. Also, sharing folders is easy and intuitive. The desktop app for Tresorit is really good too.

Desvantagens:

When I first starting using Tresorit, the concept of a Tresor wasn't easy to grasp. But, once I got used to it, it makes so much sense and adds so much flexibility. I really like this now.

I (and my data) don't want to be the product

Vantagens:

The privacy put at the core of the service. Very smooth integration in computer and smartphone. The sync app works like a charm!

Desvantagens:

There are not enough people using it ;-)

It has a lot of storage space and offers a combination of storage + sharing features.

Desvantagens:

A bit expensive as it doesn't offer middle tiers (1 TB space subscription for example).
