Vantagens:

Desvantagens:

Embora a plataforma seja muito robusta, o preço é um pouco alto para empresas pequenas como a minha.

Feedback for Auth0

Comentários: It fits our needs as an enterprise customer although it can be challenging to work with and we frequently hit limitations. Roll out of new features is very slow and roadmaps are frequently delayed by months to years.

Vantagens:

Out of the box experience covers most use cases

Desvantagens:

If your needs are different from the out of the box experience you end up fighting against the system a lot of them to achieve basic things. Session management in Auth0 and logging information around that could be improved. New universal login is a step backwards from classic and still only requires very basic customisation.

Simplifying Enterprise Authentication with Auth0 by Okta

Comentários: Implementing Auth0 has at a great extent changed our approach to authentication. The solution is user-friendly, and the onboarding process was quicker than our expectation. What has impressed me is the ease of use and robust functionality. Setting up basic configurations is straightforward, yet the platform also offers comprehensive tools for more complex customizations needed in our Company, however this poised a steep learning curve for our developers who had no prior knowledge of this customizations. Generally the experience has been positive.

Vantagens:

What I like about Auth0 by Okta is how it seamlessly handles access and Identity management. It's scalability which allows easy changes as Organizations needs grow. Its already pre-built MFA (Multi Factor Authentication), Social Login and the flexibility to customize them makes this a robust and secure solution for our Enterprise. It also provides deep insights through detailed logs and dashboards which helps to track users trends.

Desvantagens:

Too Much updates which ends up disrupting the already designed workflows.

Great option of authentication system with learning curve on complex use cases

Comentários: Auth0 was a great choice when implementing the authentication in the app. It took away all the complexities that come with the managing authentication system. However it was a bit hard and took some time to implement the third-party services, but once implemented they were working fine.

Vantagens:

I liked how Auth0 integrates with almost all the popular authentication services like Google, Facebook, and GitHub. It also worked great when I used a simple email & password with 2FA.

Desvantagens:

While it is easier to implement a basic feature like email & password, when integrating with third-party services the SDKs were challenging as they lacked detailed documentation.

Login once and use for the entire day - Okta’s Auth0

Comentários: I have been using this everyday for almost a year now. This is the first thing I interact with when I turn my laptop on. It is simple, login, authorise with Okta Verify and you are good to go with your daily tasks. Suppose if I lose network and when I gain it back, it doesn’t ask for password again

Vantagens:

I like the one login concept means just login once and use any service provisioned by my organisation under my name. It is simple and hassle free. I find it very handy, comes with easy integration with CI/CD tools like github, microsoft shared spaces, etc. The UI is simple, easy to understand

Desvantagens:

The initial setup is complex followed by the costing slightly on the higher side. So not suitable for small firms. Need some initial tutorials before use.

Easy authentication management integration for your SaaS

Vantagens:

All authentication stuff is managed seamlessly by Auth0 and I only have to worry about source code.

Desvantagens:

I really don't find anything annoying at the moment.

Robust but pricey: A mixed review of Auth0

Comentários: My experience with Auth0 has been largely positive. It's a powerful tool that can definitely meet the needs of many applications.

Comentários: My overall experience about Auth0 is very good.

Vantagens:

More features available as free.... Even individual learner works here very easy and useful.

Desvantagens:

Documentation should properly associate with our created applications.

How easy it is to get started on it. I have worked with python and node js on it so far and it is been really easy to set up.

All in one identity provider

Comentários: Customer support and community support are really great with Auth0. Auth0 products give you everything you need for your organization or software.

Vantagens:

Easy to customize and adapt to the business requirements. Customizable email/HTML templates/SMS message actually helps to easy to do the switch between your branded web/mobile app with the universal login/email etc.

Desvantagens:

Automation of the Deployment is a little bit tricky with the auth0-deploy-cli tool. You need an expert to automate the change deployment.

Comentários: I have chosen auth0 for mazda europe several years ago and I have never regretted it.
We have recently switched and moved away from Auth0 due to an alignment at Mazda Global.
We are still rolling out Auth0 for the B2B side now and are very happy so far.

Vantagens:

Desvantagens:

Domain name support (using our own domain name) didn't work out The language support in ie. emails etc is not great

Best authentication system ever!

Comentários: Authentication is crucial of every SaaS product. Auth0 helped us to bootstrap in days!

Vantagens:

Easy to use! Excellent tutorials! Excellent documentation! A lot of identity and social providers! MFA, Anomaly detection! Reasonable price!

Desvantagens:

Building a multi-tenant application is not really convenient. Some missing features in the management console: Search in applications or databases.

Custom login not easy to implement. Custom properties for users a little hard to implement.

Comentários: This platform has all the features needed to ensure effective and secure identity and access management, with a very extensive level of customization.

Vantagens:

It is very easy to assign permissions for user access according to the role they have in the company. It offers an excellent level of customization that adapts very well to the characteristics of the company. It has a very efficient and easy to configure multifactor authentication. It has very useful examples in the configuration that allow saving time.

Desvantagens:

This platform has everything you need for a successful identity management of an organization, the only thing they can improve is its ease of use.

Get your product out fast

Comentários: It has been an extremely pleasant run, because we have had to think very little about them.

Vantagens:

We made a bet on Auth0 to hasten the Go Live date for our SaaS product, while we build manufacturing ERP, we got to focus on manufacturing while CIAM came from Auth0.

Desvantagens:

Some parts of configuration options and code examples are confusing to navigate, but there is a system, once you get used to it...

Expensive for us but suits our needs

Comentários: We are able to store all personal data about our users in their auth0 profile, and use it in our app.

Vantagens:

Easy to integrate with standard libraries and the Auth0 team was very helpful with the initial setup. Auth0 was flexible enough to implement our very specific use cases.

Desvantagens:

The pricing doesn't really reflect our activity, we are missing key features for our customers like the ability to choose from email/password or SSO on the lock. Management API is too limited, especially for the exports and imports. Calls to the Auth0 API sometimes take a lot of time and are slowing our app.

Best choise for developers

Vantagens:

Very easy to use, examples for different technologies and platforms.

Desvantagens:

Average support of SAML features. Clear focus on OAuth2.

Fast Implementation that Works!

Comentários: Excellent sales experience with hands on experts that assisted with initial configuration. First class support organization. Excellent product and experience overall.

Vantagens:

Implementation time was far less than anticipated. The services are well documented and everything just works as expected. Support has been very good and the detailed examples are helpful. Excellent product.

Desvantagens:

Managing multiple tenants is a little complex without features to clone or compare tenants which makes managing multiple environments more difficult.
