Comentários: Filestage is great! It helps us to streamline the review process. As an online business with clients all over the US, it helps a ton. I highly recommend Filestage.

Vantagens:

- Easy to use: Although some of our clients struggle to learn it, overall most love it! We get tons of compliments on it. Not only is it easy for our clients, but it's easy for our team to use as well. - Customer service: Whenever we have a problem, Filestage jumps on it. - Simple UI: Unlike so many apps like Filestage, they do not complicate the UI. It's clean and simple. - They listen!: Filestage listens to feedback. They actually make improvements based on what you say.

Desvantagens:

- Slow speeds: Since we Filestage heavily, we have had slow load times on occasion. But thankfully, it hasn't been a major problem. - Client confusion: Some clients who aren't as tech-savvy struggle. But it's not Filestage's problem honestly. The only bit of feedback from them is making it clearer how to use it and making it more clear where the review or approval button is and when it is pressed.

Useful tool but could be better

Comentários: A really useful tool, but has some kinks that need ironing out.

Vantagens:

I really like that you can easily comment on a video project, graphic, written piece of work and pin point exactly where you need the changes, the user interface is relatively user friendly, however, I probably preferred it before the latest update.

Desvantagens:

The notifications come through to your e-mail inbox quite a long time after comments were made. The latest update, despite making copying comments easier, isn't as straight forward as the old drag and drop interface.

Great online proofing solution

It makes files storage and client approval experience incredible

It’s expensive for what is a very simple solution.

LOVE FILESTAGE!!!

Comentários: My team switched from frame.io to filestage.io for our review process. We primarily produce nonprofit, corporate, and commercial productions. Filestage was just much more robust for us at the time. I do understand that other platforms have emerged that and I hear frame.io has improved since we left, however, we just felt that it was simple and worked. There were some initial quirks we shared with the Filestage reps, and 1-by-1 we saw them resolved. One of the most recent ones is the template feature for projects which has SPED UP our project creation process A LOT! We thankfully are on a grandfathered plan where we pay much less than the current advertised cost, but even so I always felt it was a little more than I wanted to pay. Regardless, in our opinion, Filestage is the best we've used so far.

Vantagens:

Support, Ease of use for clients and staff, Adaptability, Flexibility for file types, Options.

Desvantagens:

Cost is my only Con due to the size of budget projects I do, but might be a steal for someone else.

Comentários: We were one of the first users in 2017/18. Since then it was always improved and more and more benefits were implemented. You're doing a good job at FS. Let's see whats coming next.

Vantagens:

It is easy to handle after a short learning time. The FS team is always trying to improve the tool.

The latest update makes some parts harder to use, but i believe in FS that they will manage the next update.

Wish we'd implemented sooner!

Comentários: Brilliant! Wish we had implemented sooner, clients prefer the visual approach and we have managed to reduce the number of revisions we have to work through.
Simply a much better review process than trying to email PDFs and collate feedback from multiple people.

Vantagens:

No more misunderstandings or long emails to read through trying to understand the changes required. Really easy to use which makes onboarding clients quick and effortless. Allowing our customers to add feedback directly to artwork has sped up our review process significantly, reducing our time in email and delivering projects quicker to our clients. Our clients find the overview of which files are in review helpful to get a snapshot of where everything is and who's responsible for the next actions. Being able to add comments to videos at the relevant time stamps makes giving video feedback a lot easier!

Desvantagens:

No negative points as yet, but still in early stages of using the software. Very positive experience so far!

Huge time saver

Comentários: Great experience. Customer communication for approvals had never been easier

Vantagens:

This is the best way we found to share, comment and get approvals from clients. When the message arrives at the client it’s easy for them to open the project, comment and reject or approve. The training is baked into the client message. Reminders keep our projects on schedule and we don’t have to chase people.

Desvantagens:

It’s fantastic for images or PDFs but web pages need screen capture then post for approval. It would be great if we could just enter URL and it scraped the page automatically. It’s a feature available in some of their competitors.

Very useful for sharing graphic design content

Comentários: It has been very beneficial for our Client Services and Creative teams to work together on projects.

Vantagens:

Filestage allows our team to leave comments directly on the document to provide feedback for revisions.

Desvantagens:

It is a little hard to share the links with our clients for their review.

That you sometimes lose access when videos get moved (but I also know there's no way around this! It's team comms)

It's intuitive and makes fun to work with

Comentários: We use it to coordinate CGI video projects. With Filestage, reconciling data is very easy. The exchange and coordination of feedback is also simple but clear. I also like that the whole process is clear and easy to understand. The entire process is clearly brought together in one place.

Vantagens:

The intuitiveness of the use. The ability to place feedback at exactly the right point. The easy way to view feedback at exactly the right point and to be able to comment on it directly. The clear presentation of all features.

Desvantagens:

So far I don't miss anything. I haven't worked with it long enough for that. So far my experience has been limited to collaborating with another company. But I would love to have Filestage also for our company.

Collaboration software at its best

easy to use, self-explanatory, good performance, API interface

Desvantagens:

The versioning still needs to be better comparable, but according to Filestage it is close to release.

Sometimes the upgolding time for files lasts a bit to long.

Must-have for creative process

Comentários: Filestage has fundamentally changed the way we operate, and I cannot imagine ever going back to the "old way" of reviewing and approving creative.

Vantagens:

Consolidated feedback on creative materials saves us SO much time managing back-and-forth rounds of reviews. It's the digital equivalent of a job jacket full of hand-written rounds of creative feedback. The days of marking up PDFs, scanning handwritten feedback, and long emails are over.

Desvantagens:

There are a few minor features that occasionally can be a nuisance, but it's minimal. For example, it would be great to be able to "undo" an approval. Tags can also get lost at times, so it would be nice to have notifications or specific "jump to" tags functionality.

Streamline feedback and approval processes

Vantagens:

The best feature about the software is that review links can be sent to anyone - internal or external, team member or non-team member. The tool thus makes feedback and approval processes with all departments and project stakeholders easy, efficient and transparent.

Desvantagens:

We would even benefit more from using the software, if it was possible to comment and edit open file formats such as Word, Excel, Power Point. Also we would benefit from using this as approval software for landingpages/web pages.

Decreased Review Time for Videos & Websites

Vantagens:

I have a website and video production company. The review process is now a snap. I simply send the filestage link - instruct the client to leave all the feedback on there, then we will execute all their reviews for a flat "revision" cost - since endless revisions are the least profitable part of the job.

Desvantagens:

I had a bit of trouble with the annotation feature early on. It turns out the google adblock plugin breaks some of the code so I just disabled it on filestage.io

filestage is the best and easiest way to get a feedback from your customers

Comentários: I'm a freelance videographer and sometimes it's very stressfull to get all information you need from your customer. Filestage is a very helpfull tool to get feedback, because the customer can comment exactly the frame that needs to be changed. You also can upload new versions on the same file, so it is very clear to use.

Vantagens:

- easy upload - clear layout - great comment tool - very friendly support - you can update your files to a newer version without any struggle

Desvantagens:

I have nothing to critize. I'm very happy with this tool :)

Wonderful tool for the review process!

Vantagens:

+ Easy to set up + Intuititve + Clear and quick user interface + Secure, even useable for content that requires NDAs + You can easily see that this tool is made by people who exactly know what the problem is to which their product provides the solution

Desvantagens:

- Not very cheap considering freelancers - Limited API at the moment (but I was told that there is more to come)

Great software for internal and external approval

Great tool for any company

Vantagens:

I really like using Filestage. Is easy to use from day one, and when you are doing colaborative work, there is nothing better. The tools it has to select text or images are great, and the way you interact inside the document with your team members is simple and effective.

Desvantagens:

I could say that you cannot work with a lot of projects at the same time, so you have to erase the older ones.

We got hooked on filestage right with the first project. Using it for almost all correction rounds.

Comentários: Quick and clean corrections and voting rounds with the customers. Saving a lot of time, effort and nerve.

Vantagens:

The simplicity of working with it - especially when giving the link of a file to a customer. There is no need for him to sign up, which makes it really easy to use. Also, the usability and the user experience is great. Its actually fun to work with, even considering it is about something as tough as dealing with corrections of customers. Everything is beeing kept clear and manageable. We also love how we can handle nearly every kind of file.

Desvantagens:

It kinda reaches its limit when handling really big pdfs (more than 200 pages), since people are going to download the pdf and will make their comments there, instead of in filestage.

Simplicity in a complex workflow

Simplify advertising approvals

Comentários: Streamlined the approval process

Vantagens:

Filestage is easy to use, no manual required! I began using it just a few months ago to approve advertising material, add comments or add missing translations to our advertising material. It streamlines the approval process and allows the different people in the chain to add their comments at the same time.

Desvantagens:

There are many notification emails generated after each step but then that is also a plus as you can track what you've done.
