My Life with Ora

Comentários: Moving a personal project regardless of scope and size is very easy.
For teams:
- I've easily used some of the collaboration features and splitting some tasks was pretty rewarding.
- I've never had the opportunity to suggest Ora as a PM tool for the teams where I've worked simply because the expensive licenses for the famous enterprise solutions were already bought. On occasion, I'd always suggest Ora.

Vantagens:

I use Ora every day. That's because it's more suitable and featureful than any personal planning application I've met so far. I'm not saying it's a mere tool for managing one's daily activities, I'm saying that for a full-fledged and enterprise-ready project management application it allows you even that, unlike most of the big players.

Desvantagens:

What I didn't like about Ora, is my indecisiveness in which template to choose when I start a new project. But is this really Ora's problem or my personal trait?

Vantagens:

The clear dashboard and the possibility to make our own templates.

Desvantagens:

I think it is designed for the IT-business. We miss a feature to fill in separate an hours-administration which we can share with our clients. And we miss the possibility to print.

Your data is at risk!

Comentários: Everything was good for me until they removed with any further notice my users and data got removed.

Vantagens:

Ora is a beautiful PM tool, easy to use and really improving slowly but consistently every year.

Desvantagens:

Your data is not safe there, I meant to have a paid account for 10 users, and suddenly 8 of them were removed from my account with zero warning or any previous notice. Ora is not a reliable platform, their billing system is messy and they really don't care to communicate with users if you need to upgrade or backup any information before they downgrade or simply delete your users.

Great product for the price

Comentários: Great experience and they are always coming out with new features to help us manage the business better.

The customization feature is one of the best in the industry.

Desvantagens:

I have used a number of other tools and I have not found one con to using this product.

Good, but could be great

Comentários: Overall we enjoy using it even though we're disappointed with the chat. The lack of a documentation feature is also a downside but we know it is on the roadmap and, for the time being at least, we're waiting for its implementation.

Vantagens:

Ease of use, without a steep learning curve. It's easy enough to quickly setup a project and create/assign tasks. Schedulling came pretty handy recently as well.

Desvantagens:

The chat. We were eager to move our company's chat to Ora but we find it to be unreliable. It seems like we don't always get notifications and the Huddles seem even less reliable. Whenever we tried to Huddle, we were never able to get everyone seeing/hearing each other, there were always someone who couldn't see/hear some other members.

As more and more projects seem to pile up all around us, an upgrade to our thinking and problem solving skills is desperately needed. Enter Ora, the Swiss Army knife of project management techniques.

Desvantagens:

I've been using Ora- at work, and now for personal use - and it does not have any disadvantage, I'd be interested to know if it has any more advantages over other PM software

Great task management system, simple but effect.

Desvantagens:

Because it is "newer" it does seem to have more bugs that need to get worked out but the team is very responsive when you report them.

Project and Task Management Made Easy

Vantagens:

I needed something to help me get things done. I can use this for business and personal projects. I love the agenda so I can see what’s current and coming up. Ora continues to make updates and improve their software. I use this for content creation, marketing, social media and so much more. Every aspect of my business is managed in Ora.

Desvantagens:

There isn’t anything hung I don’t like but if I had to choose something I would say the templates could be better.

The best project management, collaboration, and communication app!

Vantagens:

I like the flexibility in customizing the layout, ease of access to various parts of the app including group chat, task creation and assignment, time tracking, scheduling and reporting. It's like having zoom, band camp, trello, slack, Monday, and others all wrapped into one powerful app.

Desvantagens:

There was a commitment to adding invoicing functionality that has not yet been realized.

Ora is my favorite task management tool

Comentários: Excellent. I love Ora and how it helps me to accomplish complex tasks by breaking down projects into their components and helping me to organize what needs to be done, what I am working on, and what has been completed.

Vantagens:

I love the many features that allow me to organize my lists of tasks in ways that make sense to me, and automated functions that save time and effort.

Desvantagens:

Ora is designed for teams of many people to coordinate and work together on a large task, where I am using it for a very small team, so sometimes getting it to apply to our smaller operation takes a bit of thought, but we are still able to make it work very well, even for one or two people instead of a team of 20-40 or more.

Desvantagens:

Occasionally I have experienced problems loading my files. Suddenly my files disappear and I have to reload the page to see them again.

Vantagens:

It is pretty easy to navigate. The interface is quite nice.

Desvantagens:

I guess it's not fully developed yet.There has been several bugs this past few months. I has been causing problems with our work.

Ora is great

Vantagens:

The functionality Ora packs is impressive. Task management, time tracking and recently added chat feature helps me and my team to be more productive.

Desvantagens:

The calling feature was buggy when first released.

Ability to slide tasks or items to different columns, and customize what happens when completed items are checked

Desvantagens:

When the column get very full, it becomes more difficult to scroll across the screen to see columns that are not visible. This became much easier when we learned how to subsection everything appropriately.

Good tracking tools

Comentários: One of my friends strongly recommend me to use Ora for project management.
It works well as a team working on one project.
However, it doesn't work well with my personal project.
While I'm planning my project, it helps me mentally organizing my tasks, but in real life, I use rarely to track the progress of my work. I use mostly ical to plan my task. So if the app link to ical, it'll be prefect.

Vantagens:

1. Organize project 2. Help setting up the goal and reminder 3. Help tracking the progress 4. document all progress including the finished task, you can always go back to read your notes.

Desvantagens:

1. lacking of flexibilities 2. wish the app can link to ical or google calendar or notification for reminding

A decent enough tracking and managing system

Vantagens:

Customizable sidebar, decent-looking interface, dark mode

Desvantagens:

Confusing navigation, hidden options, sometimes clunky when moving things around, inputting time can be frustrating

Great project/life management software.

Comentários: Happy with it, full of features and is highly customizable so I can make it work the way I need it.

Vantagens:

Ora has most of the features we need, is simple to start using it and can get as complex as our project requirements. If we only need a basic kanban view, we can set that up without all the other stuff. If we need milestones, sprints, and all that stuff we can set that as well and only to the boards that require that. The feature I like the most is the "Agenda", can get a quick look everyday and I know what's next.

Desvantagens:

Would be great if Ora had some more advanced automation (butler style), it does have some automation but not as advanced.

Comentários: Our experience with Ora has been great but we needed a couple of missing features and more options for actual features.

Vantagens:

The first thing about Ora is how easy it is. There is no learning curve and you can start using it right away without going over tutorials.

Desvantagens:

Updates are not as consistant as with other platforms. Some features were lacking or were not as developped as it should be.

Comentários: I absolutely love using Ora and it has really helped me with organisation and using time wisely.

Vantagens:

I really like using Ora and having been straightforward for me to organise my time and tasks on a daily basis so I know what I am doing and in which order. There are so many options of how what to create whether lists, Kanban, project views, assignments and time tracking. It has really helped me identify where I use my time effectively and where I don't, so I can be more efficient.

Desvantagens:

It took me time to get used to using especially when organising projects because occasionally I have problems with moving the boards and tasks around.

Powerful pocket-sized project management

Vantagens:

Ora offers all the core features anyone would need for project management and tracking, and both the web version and apps are extremely easy to use to I always have a way to keep in touch with our progress and results

Desvantagens:

Nothing, it does everything it says and does it well.

My goto for time tracking!

Comentários: Easy to use, my goto for time tracking, it was a great price for me on Appsumo!

Vantagens:

I got it on a lifetime deal from appsumo and it works great for what I need. I use it as a time tracking software for hourly jobs. Easy to setup a template and just use that for my time tracking of other projects.

Desvantagens:

More of a user error, but if I leave it running and forget about it, I have a long time period and I have to go back and fix the time, sometimes fixing the time isn't super intuitive. On the whole project the time sometimes looks wrong but if I go into the time tracker it is right. It takes them forever to bring out updates and new features from the time they put it on their radar.

Desvantagens:

Mobile app lacks some desktop features.

One of the best project management tools I've seen

Comentários: I have a small business with a lot of projects and it's difficult to be able to manage them and don't feel overwhelmed. On top of that, it's also difficult to know how much time every one of us spent on tasks and compare that with an estimate. We've tried so far Trello, Asana, Clickup, Freedcamp (premium), Timelinr and GitScrum.
The free tier of Asana was the best for us out of all apps mentioned above, but it lacked the time tracking, the timeline feature and you just can't plan your day or week in Asana when you have many projects with a lot of tasks. We could have time tracking and timelines in Asana if we would pay for the Premium tier, but they just don't offer subscriptions for teams with less than 5 people.
So when I've started testing Ora, suddenly I've got the impression that almost all my dreams about a project management tool became true. It's got almost everything I need, works very well, and I can afford the cost of using it.

It's easy to create projects and tasks Interchangeable List and Kanban view Timeline view The time estimating and tracking are awesomely implemented, it's a breeze to use them You can plan your week or day using the Agenda feature The interface is clean and nice The app works smooth There are apps for Mac and Windows

Desvantagens:

The speed of creating multiple tasks by pasting from a document in good, but could be better I would like to have to ability to apply multiple filters on the list of tasks in Agenda view and Reports

Our project management solution

Vantagens:

I've already used tons of project management solutions, but Ora is the one we choose for many projects, since it has some great features and it's very easy to use.

Desvantagens:

It still lacks some features like calendar view, but Ora is improving with monthly updates, which shows us that the design and development teams are working to improve it.
