Personalised videos at scale and really solid and reliable support team

Vantagens:

We have integrated personalised video flows into our CRM process, allowing us to produce personalised videos at scale. This was a key differentiator from competitors and has worked as expected. The support from the team is very good. Anything in setup or queries that come up start in live chat and are either resolved fairly quickly or anything requiring additional support was regularly and clearly communicated about. I was even having trouble getting the final step of personalisation into my CRM flow and I had a call with product team providing immediate guidance and advice.

Desvantagens:

A couple of the team have had minor issues with the likes of the desktop app (vs Chrome extension) but regular updates helped fix these. Support were also proactive in providing assistance and updates.

A mandate for remote work

Comentários: Hippo Video is one of the greatest assets my company has. I cannot imagine running this company without Hippo Video.

Vantagens:

The easeness of Hippo Video to create videos makes Hippo Video invaluable to anyone who has a remote job. The screen recording capabilities along with the option to record yourself on webcam are profoundly positive. I am able to communicate with my team in an effective manner even though we are thousands of miles away. I can also communicate with clients via screen recording videos...easily.

Desvantagens:

The customer support is really bad. However, once you get through it, you do not need to contact them anymore and you will be set up to use Hippo Video on your own.

Vantagens:

I like that they added AI enabled avatar video creation. The avatars are mixed quality but it does speed up the video creation. I also like the ability to customize the landing pages.

Desvantagens:

Still a lot of manual process for bulk creation. Also, even though there is AI avatar creation, it would be great if there could be a way to customize the videos for each recipient. So, for "John", the video would be created using speech synthesis that addresses his name. Otherwise, each custom video created has to be manually created

Forget Loom, Hippo Video is so much more Flexible

Comentários: I love it and will tell people to choose this over loom any day because of the ease of use, integrations and how easy it makes marketing to clients.

Vantagens:

I have been using Hippo Video for several years now and the updates never cease to amaze me.

When I first started using it, the green screen option wasn't great, but now it it much better.

Where is [sensitive content hidden] Hippo Video

Vantagens:

First of all I like the fact that you can personalize a video message that is not a large file and know if the client has actually opened your email, watched your video, how much they watched, etc. It personalizes your messaging. I have had advertising agency clients mentioned they had never gotten a video message. Stood out when you need to stand out in a very crowded world. I titled my review Where is [sensitive content hidden] since I was trying to get in touch with a client and just couldn't get him to respond. With a humorous video that had me searching for him he responded within minutes of watching the video.

Desvantagens:

There are a ton of tools and they are trying to give you a great deal of them to do a wide variety of things. Though many I don't use there are times when it can be a little be of a challenge getting around to where I need to be on say the Sales Page.

Bringing Customer Engagement to Life

Vantagens:

I like the capability to create 1:1 introductory videos with ease and customize an accompanying landing page. This has made it super easy for our CSMs to create personalized introduction videos going to their assigned accounts. We also liked the ability to create video hubs to easily share curated resources with specific accounts.

Desvantagens:

I think the new AI enabled features are very exciting but could use some polishing as they do not look very realistic. In addition, the team did experience some bugs while utilizing the features above. However, the Support team at Hippo were very responsive and helpful in troubleshooting.

I like that I can record videos on any browser or machine due to the easy app and Chrome extension support. Using the edit feature, I can edit the video quickly and this improves my productivity.

Nice way to promote yourself, team or product

Comentários: It´s a great Video creating utility, easy to use, with a lot of details and very versatile, it only took me a view training videos and read out some instructions, and i was ready to go with Hippo Video.

Vantagens:

It´s a great utility to make videos and promote yourself, by doing an introduction and explain your job role and by adding it for example in your email footnote, people can click on your Hippo Video link and se your presentation.

Desvantagens:

sometime i got lost and forgot how to go back, but i think it is because of my ignorance

I was searching for a simple screen recording and video hosting platform, I got much more

Comentários: I got Hippovideo just to do screen recordings and hosting the videos, after exploring the platform, it offers so much more: Videos with CTAs, quizzes, surveys, all kinds of interactive elements you may need, teleprompter and a video editor to fine tune the content.

Vantagens:

Hippovideo is easy to use and deploy, has a lot of features and the support is quick to answer any question or solve any issue.

Desvantagens:

The video editor can be improved, but overall its a well balanced tool.

Could be better

Comentários: Overall, Hippo Video is a good product. There is a learning curve and you may need help from Support to figure things out.

Vantagens:

Hippo Video has many useful features for email video marketing. You can personalize the videos using templates and have CTAs on the landing pages (depending on your plan).

Desvantagens:

The interface feels stale and there's no option for 4K video, Support isn't impressive and the pace of development is slow.

The Best Video Creation & Editing Tool

Comentários: Hippo has help me brand my real estate business. I have created a custom background that I use for my weekly information videos so that customers instantly know and recognize me. I have another for announcing new products or services.

Vantagens:

As a realtor, you want to stand out from the crowd. I wanted to be able to shoot a video and have a choice of different backgrounds. Hippo gives you the ability to do just that. You can have your website as the background or you can have the video you just shot of a new listing. And it can play in the background as you narrate. It's awesome!!

Desvantagens:

There are a lot of options. And when you have that many choices it can become a little tedious to learn them all. I just started using the editing tools and now that I have the hang of it, it's going smoothly.

- Brand your shared videos with a top bar logo, a player logo, favicon, page titel and your own domain - Clean Google Chrome extension to easily start recording within seconds - Guest recording: Send a link to a customer, via which he can record himself a video (testimonial, query etc.) - Fast and customer feedback driven development of new features

Desvantagens:

- At the moment they need typically 15 - 20 days to set up the custom DNS for you so that you can use your custom domain - The shared video pages offer commenting and emoji reaction features. You can only disable both simultaneously. For lot clients commenting would be useful, but emoji would be too playful

Outbound Sales Tool

Vantagens:

Integration into Hubspot and Apollo.io. This makes my outbound prospecting seamless.

Desvantagens:

Slow to load and save videos sometimes through 3rd party integrations

Best video recording software I have used so far

Vantagens:

The product is easy to use provided you have a strong internet connection. I have only used it for meeting recordings and yet to use the other features but so far it has been great.

Desvantagens:

Still yet to find out. As I continue making use of it and accessing all features, I will give any additional remark I might have.

First and foremost the best part about this tool is it's a web-based application so I don't need to store any big files on my 128GB Mac that is already struggling with storage. Secondly, I bought the lifetime deal of this tool on Siftery deal and I have been using it from like past 1 month at the time of writing this review and I think I won't be going anywhere else know

Desvantagens:

This is a pretty new tool compared to the other biggies in the market but that's okay knowing the team is working day and night to make it the best video recording tool in the market. I think I'm in safe hands while writing this review. I'll update if anything goes wrong anytime in the future.

This is the BEST extension ever.

Comentários: I don't use it very often BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT the fact that I don't forget how awesome it is over the gaps I don't use it is proof all by itself that this is the best extension ever.

Vantagens:

I like that if I ever need help(which I don't) all it takes is a swipe of my finger on my keypad and it gives awesome suggestions.

Desvantagens:

There isn't anything I don't like to be honest.

Comentários: We can easily communicate with a team, clients, customers. The videos can be edited in so many ways we even record training for new employees.

Vantagens:

The interface. It is awesome and very user-friendly. The app is full of features that do not exist in another app. We used Loom, Cloudapp, but nothing comes to be so intuitive and well thought out as Hippo Video. The team, they are extremely responsive and fast to implement new features!

Desvantagens:

There is nothing to dislike, but improvement can be just a release of new awesome features for business world!
