My primary use cases for Humi is to check my vacation days and paystubs. The simplicity of the app is what I enjoy the most.
Software is difficult (if not impossible) to customize.

Comentários: Support is great and responsive. They try hard to meet feature requests.
Vantagens:
Basic features to onboard and manage the employee journey backed by a clean and simple interface.
Desvantagens:
Data access and reporting need work. I have to do a lot of engineering to manage the business.

Vantagens:
Humi is designed to have multiple HR tools all in one place and is easy to use. Real-time instant employee data makes any HR professional look like a pro.

There is a lack of user configuration in the system is frustrating at times. It would be nice to at least have access to change wording

Great HRIS provider
Vantagens:
Humi is a great HRIS system with options from training tracking, time off requests, personnel record maintenance, performance reviews, goal tracking etc.
Desvantagens:
We have been considering using Humi as our payroll provider as well as HRIS provider but they still have room to grow. In both the payroll and HRIS realm, we need the flexibility to have staff working in two programs under two different supervisors.

User friendly; poor reporting
Comentários: Overall, the software is user-friendly and meets our basic needs. We moved payroll to another provider due to errors. Humi has been very focused on developing its scheduling platform and as a result, other improvements and suggestions for feature enhancements have been largely ignored. I am hopefully that they will continue to develop and make the software more efficient.
Vantagens:
Humi has made a number of improvements to its applicant tracking/recruiting systems and we are satisfied with this program. There could be further improvements to make it more efficient but overall, it works.
Desvantagens:
The reporting tools have been very disappointing and not usable in most cases. A basic turnover report with analytics is very important to us and we do not currently have this ability.

Easy-to-use All in One Human Resources Management on the Cloud
Comentários: Overall a great 'starter' HR package for small to medium-sized companies.Very relevant for Canadian corporations.HR is one area that has been left unattended and without cloud-based tech solutions. Humi bridges the gap.Very good price pointEasy and quick to implement

- Very good price/performance ratio- One of the best HR platform especially for Canadian companies- Great for small to medium-sized companies - Very quick and easy implementation- Easy to administer- Modern look and feel- Seamless User experience- Vacation tracking and Team calendars
Desvantagens:
- In some cases, the workflows needed resetting during the implementation- Vacation balance and tracking can be tricky to setup and maintain- Lacks security of more expensive/comprehensive solutions- Difficulty in formatting and setting up reports

Working Great For Our Small Company
Comentários: My experience has been really great right from my thorough onboarding to continued support and the new features getting added all of the time. It is already a great product but I know they are constantly improving it and I'm excited to see where it goes.
Vantagens:
The ease of use and the amount of information that can be stored on one program. Instead of having 5 places to store information, it is now all under one program. Customer support is great as well!
Desvantagens:
I guess the biggest downfall is some of the controls and limitations when it comes to wanting to delegate. Most tasks have to stay with an admin and right now with us being a small company that means it has to stay with me or we need to give someone else admin clearance and they can access all feedback and other confidential items.

Very useful, but still needs love with the translation
Comentários: We likle humi - we still have a few complaints from the supervisors regarding the english and the performance that are long (every question needs an answer)
Vantagens:
Easy to understand and to use I love the fact that I can connect as someone else to show them where to go
Desvantagens:
The translation from english to french The fact that the supervisors can't accept / deny vacations on the email The fact that the employee can't search in the documents (only the admin")

Great Canadian Company
Comentários: I think Humi is great and I would recommend it to any Canadian HR professional
Vantagens:
Time off, document management and onboarding keeps everything in one place allows more time for HR to focus on other tasks and less time on administration
Desvantagens:
I find there are some navigation issues sometimes. ie. time off taking you back to the main page when you just want to be in an employee's profile. Surveys also are not the best with the new data as you cannot see separate surveys anymore

Extremely disappointing

Vantagens:
Has fairly good basic HRIS functionality, easy to set up and use with a good price point. Company was very responsive during the sales process.
Desvantagens:
Looking for efficiencies in our HR processes and had specific needs - we were promised that all needs could be met and that they would customize to do so. This was an outright lie - if your needs are on their 'roadmap' then all is good, but basic timesheet functionality (which we required) was not important enough for them to customize. Their "implementation" is free but basically non-existent - you do all the work (which we were ok with but others might not be). They responded quickly to our initial concerns and it went to Sr. Mgmt as soon as I called them out for lying in the sales process, but the response from their Co Founder was completely insincere in his promises to fix the situation and in fact, after waiting almost 6 weeks for him to follow up, he blamed me for not reminding him and actually said "Should you have sent me an email in the past two months, I would have been happy to live up to my promise in helping to align Humi with your needs" my response to him was a detailed list of all the times we had tried to get resolution in that time period. telling me "I'm extremely disappointed in our team for the experience you've had, as well as our response to your concerns...." and asking if he could have until the next day to resolve.

i would like a notification when an employee from the same teams gets approved days off

Humi is a game changer

Vantagens:
The first thing you notice when you get onto Humi is how clean the design is. Wow Wow Wow. Usually my employees have trouble navigating softwares, but with Humi, my employees have become very independent. They just launched the Humi Go App which allows them to request Time-Off, and see their balances on their phone. No more email exchanges or paper forms for this gal! It was hard to find a Canadian company that did everything I needed until I found Humi. Whether it was just storing employee data, running payroll, or even administering benefits, they handled it all. Its nice to have one point of source for all your internal employee needs. There is so much in the system its hard to get into everything but some of the best features are; the document center (where you can upload, edit and send out documents for signature, customized to each employee), onboarding (digitally on-board new hires to the company where they can sign contracts, fill out personal details, and access their own employee platform), and time-off (easily set up leave types and track leave for all employees). Their integrated Payroll is the icing on the cake. It really reduced the errors we had from transferring our changes to our old clunky payroll system (ADP). The buying process was very quick and simple. We had a couple demos to showcase the platform and then we had the pricing conversation. Price is per employee and on a month to month basis and they didn't charge us for implementation which was superb.
Desvantagens:
There were a couple things they do not have that would be helpful. We currently have a couple hourly employees, and they don't have a clock in/clock out system. However we use the additional fields section to track these.
A Huge TimeSaver!
Comentários: They have been a great team to work with, and their helpfulness and responsiveness have been amazing. There have been issues in the past that were critical as we had missed a very important deadline, and they helped us resolve it immediately.
Vantagens:
We have been with HUMI since their early days, and they have saved us tons of time with the many features that they've added. What started off as a goal to fix our Payroll and Vacation documentation, has grown to help manage all the onboarding/offboarding, training management, document management and many other features.
Desvantagens:
We still have some things to work out with the documentation formatting,
Attentive Customer Support and Easy to Use

Vantagens:
I like great customer support and Humi checks the box! Anytime I have had a question or needed assistance I have had prompt responses that were helpful and always kind.
Desvantagens:
My least favourite part is that I didn't know to have off-boarding employees change their email address in order to get T4s as once they are terminated they have zero access to paystubs and ROE. I've run into that issue a few times. It would be great if terminated employees could still log on to view their payroll for 12 months or for 30 days after T4s are submitted the following year.
Humi 101
Comentários: All staff time off is tracked in realtime in one place. All HR documentation is tracked in one place and clearly identified when acknowledged. Streamlines paperwork
Vantagens:
It is simple...and complete for our needs as a small government funded organization
Desvantagens:
Difficulty printing pages or reports. Uploads cannot be edited easily without removing and uploading again which then impacts any acknowledgement or staff signature requirement. It is still new but these are immediate observations.
Fully Recommend
Vantagens:
Humi is an incredibly easy to use HRIS system, that provides lots of functionality. The system allows us to easily keep track of all time off, manage our performance review process, and store all HR information in an easy to navigate manner. Their team is always willing to help out if I have a question and take feedback into account. I definitely recommend!
Desvantagens:
Reporting could be a bit more robust, aside from that no cons.

Comentários: Overall my experience is good. Earlier on I was frustrated with little glitches here and there. But it’s been better lately.
Vantagens:
I like how we have all documents for employees in 1 place. It’s good for time off requests , good for offer letters , employee agreements , etc.
Desvantagens:
I wish that there was a live chat for support. I’ve also ran into random bug / glitches which can be frustrating. In todays world support in real time is the standard , so having to submit forms can be a bit irritating. I think the format for the org chart can be way way better, the tree diagram when you have large numbers is pretty bad so I have to use excel to create a better one. I also wish I could export zip files of documents as an admin. Ie. I’d like to instantly export to zip file all employee documents.
Closest thing to an assistant!
Comentários: Overall very user friendly as a platform, helpful for staff to navigate by themselves and easy reporting /custom reporting. Support teams are always helpful and kind!
Vantagens:
Having multiple products in one place makes it convenient to comply with regulations and get staff set up for success
Desvantagens:
Some of the areas that fall in between categories (ex: payroll & benefits; deductions from payroll re: benefits contribution) can be difficult to figure out as the payroll support and benefits support are different people and neither may have the answers you are looking for

Good Intentions, but need more development time and dollars.
Comentários: The people are great and want to do a good job, however overall the platform need much more development time and dollars to make this system comparable to other platforms. Although the subscription is attractive, but when you compare you need to await for future developments.
Vantagens:
The platform performs the basic functions, but the platform does the best is the people.
Desvantagens:
They have a lot on their to-do list, but when you get access to the system you start to understand it is very much in the very early development stages.

Comentários: We continue to learn with HUMI...it has really helped us with new hires...saves time and money.
Vantagens:
Very automated to assign all documents to new hires, the process is electronic, not requiring printing documents...user friendly.
Desvantagens:
After hiring an employee, if you don't assign the documents at point of hire, you have to add documents individually to employee (time consuming).

-I thought it had more HR information for our users, we still had to get all our company documentation.-The phone app is missing half the options
Humi Overall Review
Vantagens:
The ease of onboarding employees is probably the best part of the software.
Desvantagens:
Sometimes its hard to navigate where to locate things, and when we reach out to support, there is usually a delay in response.
Our experience
Comentários: Our original purpose for the system was vacation tracking. It met that need and we tried to make further use of the systems capabilities but it is not flexible enough for us to deploy it across the team.
Vantagens:
It's a Canadian product, that was the first draw. It works well to track vacation and manage leaves
Desvantagens:
The compensation tracking is lacking - targets/actuals for incentive pay, the performance management system is not flexible and does not allow us to follow our preferred methodology (sequence of reviews)
Great Canada Based HRIS for Small Companies
Comentários: Good HRIS for being Canada based, great customer service.
Vantagens:
Ease of use, user friendly, nice interface. Great customer service and support.
Desvantagens:
Not many functions, more Canada specific, not great for scaling and growing larger teams.
2022 HUMI Review

Humi is a breath of fresh air
Comentários: HR headaches gone - and the price is right!
Vantagens:
I didn't realize how painful HR was until Humi came along and removed all the headaches. As a business owner, it's fantastic to have a cloud-based, delightful, solution to manage all my employees. So thankful to be out of word, google sheets and the antiquated world of PDFs!
Desvantagens:
Applicant tracking is still being built out. I'm very much looking forward to switching from our existing solution to Humi's but some functionality is still missing here. I'm told, however, a major update is on it's way!
