Sobre Creo
O Creo é um conjunto dimensionável de aplicativos integrados e interoperáveis, abrangendo todo o espectro de desenvolvimento de produtos.
I like the fact that it allows me to separate components into their smallest entities to understand what I need to facilitate my lifecycle management. It’s easy to import into and export out of.
Automation has limitation as it follows less programing /API integartions.

Great professional tool, harder for beginners or students

Creo: Get Accurate 3D Modeling with Many Features
Comentários: Creo is a powerful 3D modeling platform that is easy to use and provides many helpful features. It is perfect for creating complex objects, and I find the Parametric feature to be particularly useful for creating detailed models. Additionally, the Creo Illustrate app gives users the ability to create dynamic product illustrations with ease. All in all, my experience with Creo has been very positive; it works well and looks great!
Vantagens:
The thing that I liked most about Creo is how powerful it is. It's packed with tons of features that make it easy to create complex 3D models. I also really like the user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate and quickly find what you need. And the fact that Creo Illustrate can be used for technical illustrations is great - it allows me to create beautiful visuals with ease. Finally, Creo Parametric has some great automation tools, which help save time when designing complex parts.
Desvantagens:
One of the downsides to Creo is that its features may be too robust and complicated for beginners to use. It has a steep learning curve and can be difficult to master all the tools it offers. As such, it might not be the best choice for those just starting out in 3D modeling.

Creo by PTC
Comentários: I will give it 4.5 stars as a result of my experience in 5years.
Vantagens:
The best thing I found in this 3D Modeling software as compared to others is; the drawing options and interface is just amazing with respect to other but at the same time not much user friendly. Creo have to work on making commands easy to use, requiring less expertise.
Desvantagens:
Overall, I found this software amazing.

Terrible and should be avoided
Comentários: extremely adept . fast to learn but impossible to master. every solution is a work around rather than an actual solution
Vantagens:
No pros. It has too many bugs and should not be considered for professional use.
Desvantagens:
Terrible functionally that compares poorly to other CAD packages. Windchill data management also is flawed and makes no sense and heavily prone to data lose due to system crashes. No simple functions such as repeat last command or undo.

One of the best softwares in the industry
Comentários: One of the most powerful software in the industry for 3D modeling and cad engineering.
Vantagens:
It makes assemblies so so much easier. The Interface is setup very nicely for 3D modeling.
Desvantagens:
It has a steep learning curve and takes some time to master it. It is a little hard to use for sheet metal designs.

Easy, Intuitive and a great tool for 3D MCAD, ECAD design starters
Comentários: CREO is easy to use, friendly for beginners and the scalability of the software is very high and definitely worth for money. Not a great tool for advanced designers as lack of integration to platforms like Eagle elctric design, ROS robotics etc.
Vantagens:
Advanced Assembly extension in CREO parametric is simple great for top down design approach, surface modelling, sheetmetal modelling, concurrent data sharing between various created components by the key integrator and great assembly configuration
Desvantagens:
CREO rendering is way inferior with regards to its competitions like CATIA or Solidworks. CREI render studio isn't powerful, renders aren't close and products are a lot grainy.

Master of some, not useful in others
Comentários: It handles data management well with the windchill. Overall satisfactory but for the cost I expect more value in terms of features.
Vantagens:
2D drawing and 3D parametric modelling is very good. Straight-forward modelling and surfacing. Also simulation is easy to use.
Desvantagens:
But lacks in flexibility. Need more ease of use in modelling. As a designer creo limits my imagination to create something para-metrically.

Cero Review
Comentários: Core has been an amazing software to use from end to end and has been a great support in the Industry that heavily relies on 3-D modeling.
Vantagens:
The ability of the software to give a wide range of modeling tools to be able to reach a final desired outcome. The software works perfectly in network areas with multiple people working on the same Assembly model at the same time.
Desvantagens:
The software needs an upgrade on the navigation through all the features it has provided the end user in order to use it with ease.

Creo is Best design software
Comentários: Working on Creo as sheetmetal designer.
Vantagens:
3d framework is the best part. Sheetmetal, parts, assembly , drafting have different modules. And can work parallely.
Desvantagens:
Nothing to dislike other than cost. Cost of Creo must be cheaper.

An affordable CAD tool
Vantagens:
Easy interface, Pre Arranged tools, ease of part modelling
Desvantagens:
Fatal error occurs during handling large and complex assemblies

Creo View is a complicated software eventhough its capabilities are limited.
Comentários: The software, when you consider it overall, an exceptional one in terms of its capabilities. And from the Creo View sub module I get the impression that it is good to create a simple working part for each design which only targets a specific duty. So it improves my modular design experience
Vantagens:
The system that Creo implement to its products is very beneficial, they create a submodule for each specific task and Creo View is one of them. This creates an opportunity to make more emphasized softwares and it provides a productive working environment.
Desvantagens:
The overall interface is a little bit problematic and hard to use and it leads a little bit confusion for starters.
Creo by Wade
Comentários: Awesome software it does have a learning curve for newbies but what software doesn't
Vantagens:
Modeling, assembly, sheet metal and drawings modules are my favorite
Desvantagens:
Error message are cryptic but you get used to them
great 3D mechanical design software
Comentários: I use this software to make 3d designs as a hobby because I love tools and parts designing, I sometimes use Creo to make the work faster. I love this application because it is easy to use.
Vantagens:
A great design tool but not the best. I like that this software is much easier than any other designing software, if you have complicated work by using Cero you can save time. Also, the rendering is good but not the best. And it has a great user interface with easy and clear grouping.
Desvantagens:
They must work on the analysis, this software can do much work and it saves time because it is easier than any other software but the analysis in Creo is bad and doesn't give accurate results so you have to use another software to do it the analysis.
Product design
Comentários:
I love the Creo Tools, one of the best used in the market, has all the functionality and features for creating complex models and parametric parts that are needed in the engineering world, integrates with other downstream tools that I needed for simulation and NC coding.
Single tool that helps designing products volume Industrial and automotive sector.
Vantagens:
Modeling tool helps in engineering the product complexity, very strong tool for automotive companies who deals with complex parts such as powertrain and engines dad needs a lot of parts & assembly. Has advanced features for real time design feedback and helps in improving efficiency with topology optimization. The Sketcher to helps in creating the 2D drawings and industrial drawings that captures the concept level model and can be converted into an actual engineering drawings with the same software. PTC company involved in the digital twin capabilities that integrates the models that can be repurposed for the digital twin and also for the argument reality. simulation tool that are available wait in the creo helps to validate D models trends and product features at the design stage
Desvantagens:
Creo is expensive compared to Solidworks or Solidedge. Complex features make it less user friendly, example layer are hassle and need to leatn how to use the system files. Automation has limitation as it follows less programing /API integartions
Creo - A CAD tool with full of possibilities - review based on the versions from Pro/E 2001 to Croe4
Comentários:
I started working with Creo (earlier known as Pro/ENGINEER) in the year 2004 along with SolidWorks in my first company where I was the main tutor for this two software.
I implemented SolidWorks in a motor manufacturing company along with data migration from AutoCAD to SolidWorks as SolidWorks Certified Support Technician.
Since 2007, In my present company, I am using Creo with Windchill PDMLink on a daily basis. During these years, my journey started as an End User and now I am a Business Administrator of Creo and PDMLink for the users from my country.
I can say though other tools are easy to learn and might seem low cost, they might not match the robustness of the Creo in terms of 3D modelling of complex geometries as well as large assemblies.
I also used Standard Rendering and I was able to produce a very effective images for product catalogs.
I also used Mechanism and Simulation modules and they are quite capable.
Small Scale Industries, those are in search of a tool with fast learning, fast output over robust parametric modelling for short term goals then SolidWorks or SolidEdge is better.
For long term goals of Life-cycle management from development to production to withdrawal, Creo is strongly recommended.
Creo is for 3D CAD modelling, drafting and advance assembly extension for large product manufacturing industries.
*) before making any purchase decision, I would recommend having a hands-on or demo of all the 3D CAD tools with our area of implementation.
Vantagens:
Robust and Advanced Modelling Features including Surface Modeling capability which are capable of easy to very complex geometry. Family Table, Simplified Representations and Flexible Components. Skeleton for a top-down modelling approach Mechanism and Rendering. Plethora of Config options to suit many customer needs.
Desvantagens:
Learning Curve is still on the higher side than other rivals such as SolidWorks which has a very fast and shot learning curve. For Creo, Help is not yet so much intuitive as SolidWorks has unless you go for PTC University portal. In Drawing, still, some of the things are not up to the mark as compared to rivals.
Best 3D Cad and assy design software
Comentários: I am verifying my part without physically making it. I made the cad and then simulate it.
Vantagens:
Command control panel with command name is easy to access.
Desvantagens:
Sometime fatal error can make you angry.
Great professional tool, harder for beginners or students
Comentários: Overall, it is a great professional tool and is probably best used in the industry rather than in educational settings (at least at the elementary/middle school level). While it is great exposure for students to be using professional software, it has a larger learning curve for both teachers and students than other more kid-friendly CAD software out there and it is more expensive than other options available. It is better and easier to print from and has many more functionalities. It just needs to be simplified and streamlined to be successful in the classroom.
Vantagens:
I like that it is high quality, professional, and has a large variety of tools needed to create 3D prototypes. It is often used in the CAD industry so it is great exposure for our students. It worked really well with our 3D printers and printed out great, high-quality prototypes. Our students enjoyed using it.
Desvantagens:
One con is that it is not compatible with MAC computers, must have a PC. It must be downloaded and has licenses that need to be purchased whereas TinkerCAD is free online and does not need to be downloaded onto the computer. In addition, if you want younger students or beginners to use this, a lot of accommodations and simplifications need to be made. We had to spend a long time customizing the toolbar to be more accessible and kid-friendly. We had to do a lot more instruction to help students be successful. There are also no built-in trainings or tutorials that are student-friendly like TinkerCAD.
CREO requieres longer for beginners
Comentários: We had to have a dedicated team jus for CREO to allow the rest to concentrate on Product support and projects only.
Vantagens:
Found it to be intuitive at the beginning,
Desvantagens:
Creating sketches was hard to master even when training was provided, difficult to finalize complex sketches with little tools to find fixes. Somehow the Engineering IT was unable to sync with PLM softwares for some time. Extensive training was required to bring onboard new hires.
Creo 3d CAD software
Comentários: I have been using Creo for the past 17 Years and do not want to run anything else
Vantagens:
have run Solidworks, AutoCad, SDRC IDEAS, and PTC Wildfire and Creo, by far Creo is the best tool I have used in my 42 year design career
Desvantagens:
Sometimes it does very heavy designs and has no issues and every once in a great while on something simple it will crash , but they all do that from what I have seen.
Unintuitive and buggy
Vantagens:
Creo integrates with Windchill, but moving between the platforms can be quite confusing.
Desvantagens:
Extremely buggy and integration with Windchill should be much better. Other software like CATIA or Solidworks are a lot more intuitive and have much better workflows. I feel like I can accomplish most things in other software packages twice as fast and easily, despite having many more years of experience in Creo.
Not the best Design Software, but the easiest.
Comentários: The overall experience with Creo is good it helped me a lot with my graduation project in the university.
Vantagens:
I used Creo in the university to complete my graduation project and still use this software sometimes. The software is powerful with many helpful features. Also, it is one of the easiest tools that you can use to complete any ordered job easily in a short time.
Desvantagens:
I think Creo is a professional tool compared with other tools like Solidworks, the analysis and rendering in Creo are somehow weak. The UI is not that great and from the first time, you need time to understand.
PTC Creo
Vantagens:
The Parametric Nature of the Software and the Design Intent is superb Excellent for Solid Modelling ( drafting , part modelling, Assembly module, Detailing, Sheetmetal)
Desvantagens:
Frequent updated versions which come yearly is not so good as the individual using this software has to update the license every year which is Costly
Very powerful after a large learning curve.
Comentários: Creo and Windchill allow us to design products with a great level of detail and sophistication with good revision control and change notice processes. It is very powerful once you get used to it.
Vantagens:
Creo is very powerful, it has lots of design tools that allow for in depth design of products. When tied in with Winchill the revision control and change notice process can be very controlled.
Desvantagens:
The learning curve is steep. I first learned Solidworks, then Fusion 360, then Creo. Even with knowledge of two other cad programs it still took a very long time to get used to Creo. Button placement, different types of clicks, and shortcuts are much more confusing here.
Some good points
Comentários: Add-ons like Fabication, Motion and PLM are great even if 2D sketches are terrible
Vantagens:
SImulation and Motion plugin are very well done, easy to use and powerful
Desvantagens:
Creo is very frustrating when designing, especially for 2D sketch
Many features but hard to use
Comentários: Plenty functions and easy to work with others, but hard to learn the software interface and hard to use it for curvature surfaces.
Vantagens:
It integrates with WindChill database and it is easy to control the drawing versions with co-workers.
Desvantagens:
It is hard to use initially but get used to it after some time. It is also hard to use the interface for curvature surface.
CAD Tool with a better interface!
Comentários: It's a really useful design software with a great easiness of use!
Vantagens:
Creo is definetely a robust CAD tool! Especially I need to confess that it's really faster than the competitors and easier to use the tools. Interface is really attractive for a CAD software.
Desvantagens:
I would be more grateful if manufacturing 2D creation would be as productive as other design tools. Also, tree structure is a bit less useful than the other design tools.
