Time saving program!
Comentários: I have had more leads turn into proposals, which have then turned into bookings. This was my number one concern. I would get a lead that would then fizzle out because I had no way for clients to fill out an online questionnaire. With the form section I was able to create a simple questionnaire that leads could fill out on their computer or phone easily. I can then automatically create a proposal for them based off of one of my templates.
Vantagens:
This has been the best decision I have ever made for my business! Not only does this program save me time and energy, but it looks professional and is easy to use. My clients love it as well! The entire process from start to finish with my clients is now seamless. The proposals look clean and modern and clients can e-sign the proposal once they approve it. letting me know that they would like to book. No more guessing if it was received or not, or if it was even viewed. This program has been a lifesaver! I have booked more weddings than ever before and I still get to have a life!
Desvantagens:
I wish I had more time to explore the program more in depth. I'm discovering new things every day that are great tools. Luckily the Curate team has been fantastic about answering questions or concerns and the onboarding sessions were super helpful to get started.

Vantagens:
We're long time users of Curate (and have tried out several of the competitors), and have always been big fans of the platform. Curate is easy and intuitive to use, both for the florist and for the client. We appreciate the ease with which we can create a proposal and the flexibility to make customizations. Curate has a polished look that sets us apart from our competitors. In fact, we consistently hear from clients that our proposals just looked better than our competitors.
Desvantagens:
A couple of ideas:1) delete the pre loaded mayesh product. The stock images aren't great, and the pricing is incorrect for our market. 2) would love a more corporate looking template. Cleaner font, more minimalist design. 3) I would L-O-V-E an e-commerce arm of curate. Currently we use floranext for e-commerce. For florists who do events and retail, it's clunky to have 2 different platforms. 4) Would love a curate ap...especially for our breakdown crews to check in inventory.
Worst Custmumer Service

Customer service. I contracted a company to do a new website for me. I sent an email and asked questions so that Curate and the new company's software could work together. I took 12 days, and they did not respond. I had to follow up, and they only sent a meeting invite. Some of the questions were simple enough for me to respond.
Then, I had some questions that I could not find on their website's FAQs and "helpful" tabs. Again, they did not respond, so I had to follow up after six days. I asked them to respond as soon as possible, but I didn't get an answer.
They are so nice and responsible to get you in. Then, they don't respond.

Customer service, the system does not tell you if a client has signed the contract. not being able to add useful links of my company into the contract, etc.

Comentários: With Curate, I never feel alone. The customer experience team, from the onboarding, to the free refresher training sessions, to the ability to shoot them a question or comment is always on their game and always so friendly. I have never felt like the company doesn't care; if they don't have an answer they always work to get the answer from another team member. I feel like they are not a stagnant company with unreasonable policies and procedures in place; they are constantly looking to evolve with the clients and meet the needs of clients in order to make the software better.
Vantagens:
-Curate is linked to the Mayesh flower library as well as the Floral Supply Syndicate library, which happen to be two of my main wholesalers. I can quickly access up-to-date prices, names, and pictures of the items I plan to use in a client's design. This ability to access these designs make it helpful for when I'm communicating with my wholesaler exactly which item I need -Ability to add flower pictures and Pinterest board pictures make the proposals visually pretty and help out the clients who aren't so visually creative
Desvantagens:
The ability to generate a mood board prior to giving clients prices would be amazing! There is a small mood board and color way layout within the proposals itself but if they were able to be pulled out on their own, prior to having total quantities from clients would be helpful in starting the conversation with the client. Adding recipes and confirming product availability with the wholesaler can be a daunting tasks that holds up the proposal drafting process, and therefore can lead to clients hiring other florists who are more responsive.

What would I do without curate?
Comentários: I know that I don't use the program to it's full ability... I don't create recipes or or create orders through Curate, which I'm sure, if I ever grew to be a bigger company with multiple employees, I would definitely see the benefit in but how I use it, is perfect for me. As I have been using it for several years, I have had the pleasure of seeing all of the functionality changes that have been made to the program (for example, adding a section for html color codes is such a fun new feature!) I have raved to other florists about my experience with curate and I have heard from clients about how my quotes were night and day from other floral quotes they had received with presentation, the amount of photos for visuals and the level of detail. Once my clients receive and sign off on their quote, they are confident about what they will be receiving on their wedding day and I am always able to recall exactly what the game plan is months after I've written the quote and am getting ready for production/design.
Vantagens:
Curate has totally changed the game when it comes to writing clean, beautiful quotes for my clients plus it has saved me so much time. It used to take me hours to write quotes and now I've cut my quote writing time in half. I have had clients book me because they were blown away by the detail, and ease of reading the quote compared to other florists they had spoken to. I love that I have all of my financial reporting in one place here, I use the reports function all of the time, it makes my monthly accounting tasks so easy.
Desvantagens:
There are a few things I would love to see developed on curate. First of all I would love it if there was an app I could download to my phone. When I'm away from my computer I have to access Curate through my phone's internet browser and it's always a pain to log in and navigate. I would also love to be able to attach external documents to any emails I send through curate. For example, my company has a pdf rental guide that we frequently send to our clients when we send them their proposal. As far as I can tell, there is no way to attach a document to these outgoing emails so I have to send the client a second email with the document and it always seems less clean to me. The less emails my clients get, the better. I'd also love to be able to bold or italicize or underline text in the description boxes (not a big deal but sometimes I need to make a point or draw attention to what is written.

Curate changes the game for us!
Comentários: Honestly it is a game changer. We used to spend hours creating proposals and having to add/subtract stems and pricing and the software does it for you. It has streamlined our processes and communication with our clients and our wholesaler.
Vantagens:
The ease in creating proposals, receiving content and keeping all details in one place. Our company is a full service floral, design and planning company. We use curate through the entire process from initial inquiry, contract management, floral proposals, client intake forms and correspondence, receiving payments, floral ordering and creating using the recipes. The real question is is there anything we don't use curate for? The templates for all the things! The forms for our clients to complete
Desvantagens:
ahhh. I wish I had the option of organizing the event properties to my preference instead of alphabetized. I would like to be able to create a detailed timeline for my vendors and clients that I could use the customization feature for instead of having to transfer all my information into canva. I probably need a tutorial on the photo upload feature. It is basically a dump all for our inspo. photos over the years. I would like to be able to search them instead of scrolling through tons of photos. i=I'd also like to see popular pantone colors available in the new color feauture. Also,

Game Changer, working to perfect
Comentários: I honestly love this software because I feel like I’m probably making money at what we’re doing for the very first time in three years and I love the fact that it does produce beautiful proposals. There are some quirks but I really believe the company is working hard on makingThose changes and fixes and getting this software faster. I honestly believe it will be perfect very soon. It takes a good bit of time to set up and learn so I do not advise starting in your busy season. It’s a little pricey compared to other software is out there but for the detail that it gives you based on the industry that we are in and how customizable it is very much worth the money.

This software has completely opened my eyes to ordering what I need with little or no wasted product and making the money that we deserve as well as how much we were under charging before this software.

This software can tend to run slow at times and the quantities pre installed are sometimes confusing or need to be changed. When you make changes within a proposal you have to remember that it does not make overall changes to all previously made proposals you must go in line by line and change every proposal that you have open for a change to take affect. This can be kind of frustrating and I have not found an easy fix for this yet. It’s just like any software when you see a problem go fix it immediately or else they will pile up on you and it’ll just make a big mess. Other than that I like the chat feature but sometimes you just want to call and be able to talk to someone. There are a few quirks that you need to remember like anytime you add a payment even though you have a percentage charge for a credit card if you add anything new to her proposal you have to remember all the things that That you have set up for that proposal and go make those changes to any additions. I think they are working hard on this software and it will soon be perfect but there’s lots of things to remember right now.

Hey Julie! We love that we've been able to help turn the corner into profitability for your company! Music to our ears. :) To your point about making an adjustment to a flower price and it affecting only new proposals, that is correct. We do that to protect all your dozens or hundreds of old proposals from years past to ensure the data is saved appropriately. That said, there are some cool tricks in the software for quickly updating the prices of those events that you'd like to. We really appreciate your feedback!!
Can't imagine working without it!
Comentários: We probably use Curate differently than the majority of your users. We use it for daily arrangements created in a retail flower shop, as well as events. The daily use is amazing. I can have floral designers who do no know anything about the cost of flowers, and they can create arrangements that are spot on for the value. This means I don't have to babysit the designers to make sure they aren't "stuffing" their arrangements and it allows me to feel very confident about my margins and bottom line.
Vantagens:
What I like the most about the software is how customizable it is to our exact needs. There seems to be limitless ways to tune it to work for you! Using Curate also gives us confidence in our pricing and value of product - this is so important especially now with price fluctuations being an enormous challenge. Using Curate ensures we are always creating our arrangements and events to value, while constantly keeping an eye on our costs.
Desvantagens:
There is a bit of a learning curve and some time investment to get it configured exactly so. I know for sure I am under-utilizing the software, just from a lack of time to work within. Some features are a little buried, and others are a little clunky. But it is the best option I have used to date.

Comentários: We've been nothing but pleased with our Curate experience. Onboarding was thorough and the system easy to use. The biggest impact Curate continues to make for us is in time. Proposals, shopping lists and recipe writing used to add up to anywhere from 8-10 hours per event. With Curate, we average around an hour and a half, regardless of event size.
Vantagens:
Curate has become as important a member of our wedding team as our wholesale department and designers! It allows us to create proposals in a fraction of the time it previously took that are beautiful, transparent and informative.We currently produce between 150 and 170 weddings per year but would recommend Curate even if we did far less for the time savings alone.
Desvantagens:
We create a production binder for each and every event. Currently, we have to do some hand cutting and pasting to get the best layout for our designers. We would love to be able to click a button and have that all generated for us.

I absolutely loved this B2C software. The ability to create mood boards, preset templates for emails & quotes, being able to capture customer general information from website to system, keep track of inventory and budget, and receive payment definitely saved time, money, and perishable waste. It absolutely got my business on the right track and I advocate every floral business who does wedding & events to invest in Curate! It will alleviate so much of the headache and complexities of the production, so that you have more time to work on your business rather than in it.
Desvantagens:
I really didn't have any cons. Over time, I have seen significant improvements and I applaud that.

Valuable tool in my floral kit
Comentários: The time is helpful and available to help. The software is user friendly. I feel professional and I always get good feedback with clients that they find the proposals/contracts pretty, easy to understand and it’s helpful they can sign and pay all at once.

It helps me be more organized and efficient. This saves me time … and time is money!

It takes time to get all your inventory loaded and personalize the look.
Booking Clients with Ease
Comentários: It has only been about a month, but we have already book 5 of the 6 proposals we have sent out using this software. Not sure if it's a glitch, but if it's a trend I will be thrilled. Customer service is wonderful; everyone is prompt and friendly and never makes you feel silly. I was maxed out with office work previously and I feel like this has given me back some sense of balance and sanity. Thank you.
Vantagens:
Honestly, right now, the all-in-one proposal presentation makes it very easy for clients to 'pull the trigger' so to speak and book us. Looking forward to seeing how the back-end recipe part streamlines my office time.
Desvantagens:
The only annoyance at the moment is the payment section. I take a flat deposit to hold the date, and then the remaining 50% is due 90 days prior and the final balance is due 10 days prior and there is no way to set up this formula right now. So, every time there is an adjustment to the proposal I have to do quick math on my end to get the numbers correct. Nothing major, but it would be great if there was a way to remedy that.
BEST EVENT FLORAL SOFTWARE ON THE MARKET
Comentários: It’s been a wonderful trip. It’s by far the best investment I made in my company. When I first started I spend 4-6 hours trying to figure out how to make a gorgeous proposal. And that was just the proposal. Getting word to work, sizing and moving photos around, fighting with text to be where I wanted it to be. It was the worst. After two proposals I knew something had to change. Little did I know how easy Curate would make the whole process including stem oh tings and placing orders. It’s truly amazing, and the customer service is awesome. I’ve become almost friends with the employees and owner, because they are so easily accessible and active. Over the years I have “played” with other software that friends use, and none have such a straight forward interface, that is almost intuitive to use, or come with the amount of tools and services Curate provides.
Vantagens:
Everything! I love the beautiful proposals it creates effortlessly, I love how easy it is to create recipes, and order flowers with a couple clicks of a button. It does ALL their heavy lifting for you. I can pump out a quick proposal in 15-30 minutes or spend hours on one searching for the perfect photos on Pinterest creating a visual masterpiece, but in the end, what the software does is always fast and easy. I love that they are always updating and adding more amazing features.
Desvantagens:
I use it on my iphone 99% of the time, and it works pretty good, there are some features that work better in chrome and I’d love for those features to work well in safari. I’m sure that will be coming soon
Saved my life
Comentários: I love using bloomtrac. I didn't realize all the extra time I was spending writing, re-writing, adjusting, re-calculating proposals until I got this program. It has saved me an immense amount of time, keeps me extremely organized, and looks great when I'm sending it to clients. I have been able to expand my business and feel confident in my pricing by using all the tools available. Also, I can't even tell you how amazing the owner is. She is available for customer support ALL THE TIME. I can send an email asking a quick question, and I have a response within the day. I haven't worked with any other company that offers that kind of support. If you're looking for a proposal program, look no further, this was one of the best investments I ever made!

Comentários: great experience, helpful and patient tutoring when I first got the software. On going support is excellent. Time saving, money saving enabling me to spend more time on other areas of my business.
Vantagens:
The software ensures that all costs are included so you have a clear overview of your profit margins. The shpping list facilty is such a great time saver as I can email this directly to my suppliers. It also makes you aware of any leftover stock which enables me to adjust my shop orders to reduce waste. The software looks best on a mobile device but in all forms looks professional.
Desvantagens:
It takes a while to get your images and designs built into the software. One feature that would be beneficial would be to add a photo option to recipes to enable you to find them at a glance

In the recipe module, just click the little image icon next to the drop down menu and you can start to create a recipe based on the pictures in your library. An indispensable software for florists
Comentários: In planning for 2 stores' holidays, events, or even everyday designs, I make a spreadsheet with the menus that takes more than a day. With curate, that has changed exponentially. I take just a couple of hours once I load my menus. You have your hard goods separate from flowers. You have menus, shopping list, break down, right at your fingertips. We have lowered the percentage of unused flowers because we are buying better. We don't have a ton of non-menued items lying around. We have also used this for proposals to big companies re: their interiorscapes and weekly designs. It made us look very professional. Changes to the proposal are instant and we don't even need to resend another pdf. I love that you can add pictures with your menu that can be enlarged if the clients wish to. Overall, curate has been a great investment for our business. We are now 76 yo and still finding ways to be more efficient with softwares like this.
Vantagens:
-good tracking system -can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection -easy to use -proposals look very professional when presented to the client -can easily be used to plan everyday and holiday designs, weddings, and special events
Desvantagens:
-duplicate items with the same name can be confusing but can be easily fixed -would be great if other wholesalers can be added in the system
Floral Game Changer

I had been complaining and whining about the lack of product on the market to help me run my business. I needed a way to make a beautiful proposal and do the numbers for ordering and pricing at the same time. Stemcounter has done this in spades. It took a very menacing task, which would take me hours and has cut it down to a matter of minutes. The best part, is that the time saved is not just on the proposal side, or stem counting side - it's also in ordering, being able to reallocate tasks to employees, and customer transparency.
Ryan has taken the time to talk to me in depth about changes and updates, and implemented so many of them. I cannot honestly imagine how my business would be running without it at this point.
Vantagens:
Ease of use, low learning curve to get the hang of, constant updates on the back end that keep the frontend user experience running smoothly, and easy in which the customer sees the final product.
Desvantagens:
The only complaint I have is in the recipe section. To print out the arrangement recipes to hand to my employees, it takes a lot of paper, as one recipe prints per sheet. I'd love if there were a smaller version of this that took less paper - but that is only because I try to be as paper conscious as possible.

I love how easy it is to use photos so our wedding clients can be confident in their decisions, even without knowing floral jargon! We work with many clients who are planning their celebrations from a distance and this software allows them to be more excited about their choices and selections, even if the haven't seen them in person yet.
Desvantagens:
The printing options could be more efficient so they don't take up so much paper.
An Event Florist's dream software!

This software has changed my life as an event floral designer. I can not say enough great things about it. It saves me hours of work at the computer! Prior to using Ularas I did everything by hand - designs, crunching numbers, you name it. Mistakes were made and now with Ularas I never have that problem. I think my clients are impressed with the overall look and feel of the proposals we provide to them and in turn we book more events. The personal customer service, our rep and her team behind Ularas provides, is outstanding. I can't imagine any other software owner taking any given moment out of their day to help you with whatever you need and personally walk to you through how to work the software. The Ularas team is always listening to my suggestions and feedback and working hard to continue to make the software fit my personal preferences and needs. As long as I'm in the floral design field I plan to be a Ularian for life! ~Treasured Blossoms

Great system for a big floral team!
Comentários: It’s been wonderful! It’s kept my growing team organized. It’s easy to use and intuitive enough that our new hires can quickly catch on.
Vantagens:
The ability to quickly generate recipes that are easy to follow.
Desvantagens:
That there is a few for even the bank transfer payment option. It makes me outsource payments to quickbooks.
This program has changed my life! I know that sounds extreme, but it's true!

The ease of use, intuitiveness, beauty of the output, ability to write notes for the "front of the house"... i.e. the client" and "back of the house"... i.e. our staff, organizational capabilities and price are all on point. the founder, has been invaluable and more helpful than I can say. She helps trouble shoot, is responsive, takes constructive criticism and implements it, and is open to feedback. She also is authentic, relatable, and has a great sense of witticism. Love the program, love the support and would never go back.
Desvantagens:
There are a few tweaks that could make it easier to add groom or MOB or other clients and timing. Its also so comprehensive that I haven't had a chance to really delve in and push it to the limits (not a bad thing). I just have other more pressing issues.

It's like Having a "tech" right next to you
Comentários: Time is my biggest issue in preparing professional looking proposals for events. Curate helps keep my time in check. I have been with them over a year & truly enjoy doing proposals. I can do as many as the client needs without having to to "recalc" as the software does it so easily. It even allows me to "take payments" and the end of year work is so much easier.
Vantagens:
I am not a computer techie person. I'm an artist (florist). Curate has been a great assistant . The more I ask questions and they answer them so quickly, the more I use the software. Customer service is so great. They walk me through every area I don't understand and make sure I do understand it. I sometime ask the same questions later in the year & they are just fine with that. I can check my questions from before to help me remember the hows.
Desvantagens:
There are no " least's" with this software. It meets my needs & more.

Amazing tool for floral Designers.
Vantagens:
I absolutely love this software! It's an all in one tool... customers review, approve and pay! It also allows me to create invoices so billing is really easy. I create invoices in advance. Meaning when a Customers approves the contract I create their invoices with payment due dates and options of how to make a payment. So billing is seamless. I love the recipe tool. It's so easy to utilize when creating a design and it saves time when building the same or similar design. Tell us about your wedding is an option for New Customers to enter their contact information and tell us about the vision for their event or wedding. Talk about time savior!! The number one reason to purchase this solftware is the Ulara's Customer Service is amazing!! They go above and beyond to set it up and always willing to help.

Wedding planning for me has become a whole new experience with this software.

i like that i can save recipes,shopping lists,exact stem counts,the price integration part and also that i can streamline my business.Love saving the recipes, shopping lists and ability to streamline my business.
Desvantagens:
Trying to mark an item as paid is a bit difficult and also the fact that it creates a new version of the proposal every time i make a change is frustrating because i can have up to 20 changes to make and having that many versions of changes can be a bit confusing.

Hey Ruth! Thanks so much for the review. We love, love, love that it's made such a huge difference! Thanks for the feedback on versions as well. It only creates a new version whenever you choose to.
