EFFICIENT AND FAST BUDGETING AND PROJECT BIDDING MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
Comentários: This application have really served a great purpose, its can be improved to serve more purposes, like webinar to allow video conference, the software really serve my company well, and it really saves our time
Vantagens:
the software works greatly for my building project tendering,tracking of construction project budget, reporting, and (bidders)contractor selection notifications, easy to use interface for our contractors, easy to understand(user-friendly interface), automatic emailing features, our bidders able to quantify the bids, the customer help-desk has being very responsive.
Desvantagens:
the first time using the software can be a little bit difficult, understanding some features on the application, careful study and chats with customer care made using the application easy and well utilised to its capabilities. The software can also be made to be made faster while loading.
Project Management Time Saver, right from Bidding to the closing of the project.
Comentários: I tender and manage many projects and I just feel this has saved me so much time. I don't need to manage my email and Honest Buildings, I just go to the project page on Honest buildings and there is everything communication pertaining to that project. Project management, Change order Management, Time management, Cost management and Communications management all in one.
Vantagens:
- Biding-Tendering process can be done in the click of the button once you have your templates set up. - Analyzing the bid is a breeze click of a button and you can analyze all or just a few bidders no more spread sheets. - All documents are in one location for all team members to see - Time saver in that all messages, CO's, RFI's, Invoices etc. are in once location no more searching through emails to find that one overlooked email. - Customer support is the best... I can chat with them pretty much anytime if I have issues. - Many of my contractors find the system so easy to use, and the others just can't seem to find their way out of the cave :) - From the Bid evaluation you can easily see how much per square foot things cost individually... which saves time when leasing asks for a budget price in the future. - intuitive reports can be set up. - Managing Milestones and Schedules
Desvantagens:
- It seems slow - I used to be able to edit anything but now it seems I can only edit what I personally input. - wish I could work from my IPad/Phone to work remotely. - wish I could have more control over the levels of access. - wish I could set up a few master team lists and just click on that list to add them to certain projects. Currently I have to add the team members individually.
Great Reporting Features, But Slow and Still Needs Some Work
Comentários: Overall, it is a really cool program. There is still a lot of room for improvement, but the customer support is incredible and they are definitely on the right track.
Vantagens:
This software is awesome for tracking capital projects and providing a mutual platform for ownership, property management, construction/ project management, etc to all share. The reporting customization features are practically endless and you can generate all different types of easy to read reports.
Desvantagens:
It is pretty slow sometimes. Also, I hate that it limits you to one vendor per cost item. For example, you cannot add two Architects to that cost section.
Online Budgeting and Job Costing System
Vantagens:
Reliable Cloud job costing and overall budgeting, billing and invoicing, planning and organizing tools assembled.
Desvantagens:
CPMfO has made it simple by slicing all down.
Biggest Time Saver
Comentários: The transition into Honest Buildings was a smooth process, just took some time to upload the project information. I feel the biggest advantage of Honest Buildings is all of our construction projects are managed from start to finish in one software program and can be easily retrieved when needed to run reports. Running reports is simple and can be manipulated in Excel to suite our needs.
Vantagens:
Some of the best features for me include: ease of use for myself and our vendors and if we do have questions the chat function works great for both of us. I am pleased to say that our vendors have very little issues with using this software. My next best feature is the bidding process which is a breeze, click a few buttons and all the pertinent information is sent to a list of vendors to bid, easy to quantify the bids and simple to award with a click of a button and it notifies the bidders that weren't select with an automatic email. Invoicing and change order feature works well and easily manageable.
Desvantagens:
In the beginning stages of working with Honest Buildings it was coming up with work-arounds for situations that the software wasn't set up for, but the great people at Honest Buildings listened to our requests and worked to come up with what we needed. We still have a small list of wish items that they are working on and will have a resolution shortly. Security and user permissions was an issue which has partially been resolved.
Best Biddinig Software on the Market

With the Honest Building software our Team has been able to maximize time spent on Property with our Tenants and onsite with construction projects and less time behind a computer screen working on spreadsheets.
While our Industry is focused on Cost effectiveness and speed to Market we cannot forget about Client relationships.
Honest Buildings has given me back time to foster and pay attention to tenant needs.
Vantagens:
I enjoy the ease of use of the bidding and tracking software. My General Contractors picked it up easily. The online support far exceeds any other software support I have ever used. I get instant feedback within minutes.
Desvantagens:
I only regret that it took us so long to identify and start using the software. If I were to calculate hours saved over the past few years sending, qualifying and awarding bids without this software... Well, I'm just not going to do that because I would be overcome with grief.
Great Budget tracking system!
Comentários: HB makes thinks a lot easier for everyone within my construction team and our vendors. In general it is a great software.
Vantagens:
What I like the most is to be able to manage the budget cost for each project in just one portal and the fact of being able to communicate with the vendor through the message option. I like the customer support, they are quick and effective. Most importantly, HB is listening its clients suggestions to improve the platform.
Desvantagens:
That the system does not allow to create different user levels. It is only full access or limited, but nothing in between. The limited access many times don't work for some users. It will ideal to have a access menu that we were able to select based on the user level of responsibility. In addition, sometimes is kind of slow to switch from windows to window.
Honest Building Review
Comentários: The overall experience has been great. The staff are very helpful and respond in a timely manner. It is easy to see how well this program works and how much it can make an organization at ease.
Vantagens:
The ease of how well the program is layed out as well as all the functionalities the program has. Being new to the program it was very easy to gain an understanding of how the program works as a whole. The overall thing the company I work for and myself like best is how we can give our thoughts and ideas of how we believe the program would work better and they understand and make the necessary changes.
Desvantagens:
There is not many things that I don't like. I understand that it is a fairly new program and that things take time to perfect.
HB Review
Comentários: Tracking our projects has become much easier since utilizing Honest Buildings especially when a team member who is not directly involved in the day to day management of a project is looking for an update. Reminders and workflows have also streamlined our processes. With a few improvements on the budgeting and cost tracking side to make the platform useful for large development projects, Honest Buildings will become an extremely valuable tool.
Vantagens:
The platform is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The transparency and insights it provides our firm and various teams is very valuable as well.
Desvantagens:
Integration with our accounting systems has been a struggle leading to delayed payments etc.
Interactive Experience with Software and Responsive Service
Comentários: Overall, it's been a great addition to our work tools. Our team is able to see the status of projects at any time in real time. It has also assisted staff members with the budget and tracking process.
Vantagens:
It's rather intuitive to just jump right in and start using it with just a little training from Honest Buildings.
Desvantagens:
There isn't a mechanism to enter in tenant improvement allowances to keep track of the tenant's contribution if the budget exceeds the allowance.

Vantagens:
It provides one point for all information a project manager needs to effectively and efficiently manage their projects.
Desvantagens:
Difficulty integrating product with already established financial programs
Easy setup
Vantagens:
Extremely easy to set up new projects and keep budget, contract, and invoices all in one place and up to date.
Desvantagens:
Seems challenging to get new vendors on board with using an online based platform. Honest is constantly rolling out new features which is great but regular updates with a company representative would be an easy fix.
HB Review
Comentários: Awesome - overall it is the only platform that shows real-time CapEx spend while giving vendors insight into invoicing and removing the Standing Sheet component of a project.
Vantagens:

Desvantagens:
-Lags -Details need to be cleaned up on a few aspects of the platform.
Honest Buildings - Recommend
Comentários: Overall, I really like it. I like that it's clean, easy to pull quick information, easy to forecast costs. There is the right amount of notes and comments sections, without making it too messy. Uploading documents or change orders are all straight forward and clean. I have been very pleased with Honest Buildings!
Vantagens:
Its easy to use, clean. Great dashboard - right amount of information.
Desvantagens:
Some steps feel repetitive. It gets slow / freezes often.

Vantagens:
the software is easy to work with in and provides great organization to tracking costs and respective change order and invoicing .
Desvantagens:
- project templates - locking/access controls - naming filters/corrections
Great for bidding and project management
Vantagens:
Honest Buildings is so easy to use and is a great way to track costs/timing of capital/tenant projects. The bid room process is also extremely helpful in comparing apples to apples in vendor pricing.
Desvantagens:
Sometimes steps can feel repetitive but the HB team is very receptive and responsive to feedback.
Review
Comentários: I like it a lot. It makes my job easier and eliminates the headaches associated with bidding out work and organizing files.
Vantagens:
It eliminates the administrative tasks that a project manager has to go through while interacting with General Contractors and subs.
Desvantagens:
It can be buggy and slow. There are certain aspects of it that are not user friendly. For example: When I am adding job costs to the project, I cannot go back through and rearrange these. I have to go back and delete them.
Easy to use!
Comentários: I have had a fantastic experience with Honest Buildings. Their customer service and response time is the best! They have worked quickly to resolve any issues that have come up and have been proactive in to any requests we've had.
Vantagens:
This software is super intuitive and the custom reporting options are great!
Desvantagens:
Some projects process items more quickly than others. The larger the project, the slower the process.
New User
Comentários: Over all use is good. One issue is when something is missing it's not always easy to know what the issue is. Might be easier to highlight missing requirements in red.
Vantagens:
The thing I like most is that we can open access to outside of the company. Centralized projects work well for everyone.
Desvantagens:
Not always easy to know exactly where you need to go. Some times you have to guess.

I'd like to see it incorporate a tenant improvement allowance better, as it relates to the overall project cost and how much a tenant needs to pay out of pocket.
