Good for what I need

Vantagens:

I like being able to take payments remotely, create subscriptions, create custom payment links and product tables as well.

Desvantagens:

I don't like that Strip holds payments before processing and paying out. I also feel like the CC fees are too high in general, however I don't think the fees Stripe charges are any different than anyone else

Great for small businesses

Comentários: My overall experience has been great. I love that there’s 24/7 support and live support available.

Vantagens:

The ease of setup and getting started. Not a lot of complicated steps and the fact there is no monthly or hidden fees. It’s pay as you go so you can afford to use it while you build and start to maintain your customer base growth.

Desvantagens:

Sometimes a card won’t go through that’s valid but that could be a bank thing with customer cards so I’m not totally sure with that one.

Comentários: Used once for a conference and then had to set up again for another conference. Was unable to do so as they required information which was different than previous. Was unable to set up payment because of Stripe's new restrictions. Strip was slow to respond to questions and did not solve the issue. We had to accept cash at the event as well as had to invoice people.

Vantagens:

First use was successful but second time was not.

Desvantagens:

Unhelpful feedback from Stripe employees.

Comentários: I use Stripe for customer payments, and overall they are good and easy to use. No fuss, and nothing ever goes wrong.

Vantagens:

Stripe Billing is fairly easy to use and can be integrated with other software, to make the process a lot quicker and easier.

Desvantagens:

The fees for each card payment aren't always clear; there's a fee for using stripe and then a tax fee on top of that. The User Interface isn't the best, and looks quite outdated, but it does the job.

The perfect payment processing platform

Comentários: I switched to stripe from my previous payment processor and haven't looked back since. I thought there was going to be a ton of HTML coding involved, but the stripe client portal made onboarding new clients and transitioning my existing clients super simple.

Vantagens:

Stripe does not have a user cost. The only fee's are the processing fees per transaction. I also really enjoy the dashboard- so much data for the average user.

Desvantagens:

The size of the stripe platform seems to scale for major corporations, as a one man business, I wish I could scale down the features to de-clutter my platform.

Comentários: It is the industry leader for a reason. It is fairly seamless and issues arise more so because of the systems that integrate Stripe are unable to use it to its fullest capacity.

Vantagens:

It is very easy to use. The interface is very clear.

Desvantagens:

Recurring billing didn't integrate through the platform we use Stripe for, RecDesk.

Easy to use

Comentários: It's mostly easy to use, I can send clients links to pay or just take the payment myself on the call with the client. It does take some time to get the money to my account, which can be frustrating, and the fees can be quite high.

Comentários: Stripe Billing is the best way to start receiving payments from your customers via online. It does have a powerful dashboard full of features, a great customer service to guide you through any circumstance you need help with. The payouts are consistent, and I find them to be the best alternative in the market after trying different providers.

Desvantagens:

The fees might be any lower than they are. 2.9% plus $0.3 plus 0.5% per recurring payments, increase the prices considerable, without counting on the federal taxes.

The best payment gateway

Comentários: Mostly great, like I said, the learning curve isn't the shortest, but as they have lots of options (that, after going through that learning curve you'll find they're needed in order to give your customers the best options and support) you'll be able to offer a great service for your clients, no need to get in trouble with clients because of the payment gateway.

Vantagens:

They take privacy in a very serious way. And they know their product is used mostly by developers, so their site has plenty of support, examples forums and every kind of resource that makes it easier for developers to implement payments on any platform. Also, they have options to manage clients and subscriptions that can be billed for in a fixed period of time, give them free trials, etc. Their commissions aren't the cheapest, but I consider they aren't also very expensive. Another thing that we liked is that they keep developing their offer, like accepting payments via convenience stores (currently in beta while i'm writing this review)

Desvantagens:

It has a big learning curve. At first it's difficult to get familiar with all the concepts they use for their different parts of the process, I wasn't able to find a simple tutorial on their site (found some in external sites).

Great for Payments, but a a little techy for beginners

Vantagens:

Stripe makes handling online payments very easy. The integration is smooth, especially if you have a developer who knows their way around APIs

Desvantagens:

t can get pricey, especially with high transaction volumes, and small businesses might feel a bit overwhelmed by the technical setup. Also, you need someone who knows their way around tech to unlock Stripe's full potential.

A very simple billing software that is effortless to use and to keep track of sales

Comentários: I am very happy with my overall experience. The ease of use and Stripe Express app are the two aspects that have made my experience with Stripe so beneficial!

Vantagens:

I really like how easily I was able to integrate it with Carepatron so my virtual clients could pay for services online. I also like how effortless it is to both use and also customize invoices. One of my favourite features is the Stripe Express app that allows me to keep track of sales and also see trends over various periods of time.

Desvantagens:

The only small issue I have had with Stripe is processing some debit cards due to how it is integrated with my booking platform. Aside from this, it have been effortless to use and very beneficial for my online practice.

Stripe is your best friend to set up SaaS subscriptions

Vantagens:

We use Stripe to manage our SaaS monthly subscriptions. What I like the most about Stripe is all the metrics that we have that is accurate data like CAC, LTV and churn rate.

Desvantagens:

I used to dislike the interface, it was a total mess (always a problem when you have many features) but since they released a couple of days ago a new interface with a lateral side bar, it's way better!

Best for SaaS Startups

Vantagens:

Stripe's billing features, especially Checkout, make the platform a dream to use. Their ability to sign up immediately with no onboarding call removes such a barrier to entry for the platform. The best part is that Stripe's Checkout product will create a no-code checkout, absolving you from handwriting checkout flows for your customer, saving countless hours.

Desvantagens:

I personally have had no issues with Stripe's support, however, I have heard many stories of people being denied access to the platform for a multitude of reasons that don't make a ton of sense. Additionally, the chargeback fees are quite predatory, with a $15 **non-refundable** dispute fee which renders business losing $$ on chargebacks for products <$15
