Comentários: A experiência é ótima, pois o Camtasia é de fácil utilização e o resultado final dos vídeos sempre é muito bom.

Vantagens:

Os recursos mais impactantes do Camtasia são: fácil utilização, ótimo para a criação de tutoriais em vídeo (conseguimos inserir áudio narrado e também possui ótimas ferramentas de edição).

Desvantagens:

Até o momento não senti falta ou recursos que podem ser melhorados.

Usei camtasia e não gostei para gravação da tela

Comentários: Minha experiência com o Camtasia foi bem curta em casa para uns projetos pessoais e uma vez no trabalho que recomendei o pessoal a usar outros software que era mais simples de utilizar e oferecia um leque maior de funcionalidades além de exigir menos dos hardwares.

Vantagens:

Gostei que ele tem varias funcionalidades apesar de serem um pouco dificultoso para usar algumas.

Desvantagens:

Não gostei que ele requer muito do ser hardware e para rodar junto com programas pesados pode ser um problema além de ter uma qualidades inferior a outros softwares da mesma categoria.

Boa alternativa aos programas profissionais

Comentários: Ótimo software gratuito, intuitivo e de fácil utilização, que não pesa tanto no computador e oferece opções básicas de edição.

Vantagens:

Impressionante a facilidade de uso do Camtasia Studio 9, o colocando como uma maravilhosa alternativa aos programas mais pesados como Adobe Premiere ou Final Cut Pro. Interface muito simples e intuitiva, semelhante ao básico que se encontra em programas de edição de vídeo. A biblioteca tem diversas opções que facilitam a adição de efeitos, textos e outras edições padrão, além de possuir um banco de efeitos de áudio e vídeo que ajudam em trabalhos básicos.

Desvantagens:

Os aspectos negativos são apenas as limitações do software frente seus "irmãos" voltados ao mercado profissional, que oferecem uma enormidade de possibilidades de edição, além de serem mais ágeis e completos ao lidar com arquivos pesados ou de diferentes fontes de captação.

Captura de écran em vídeo com qualidade

Comentários: Foi muito bom e , mesmo passados anos, ficou sempre na memória para um dia comprar caso o preço seja mais acessível. Recomendo.

Vantagens:

Experimentei há já algum tempo uma versão gratuita . Não adquirir devido ao valor elevado. Porém gostei muito de todo o funcionamento. Se estiver mais acessível no futuro certamente comprarei.

Desvantagens:

O preço apenas. Gostei de tudo o resto. Cumpre o que preciso .

Best choice for rookies and pros.

Comentários: I am not a video-editing pro, I use it for recording and putting together webinars and training videos and Camtasia has always been my-go to software for years. It is very easy to start using it if you don't know anything about video editing but a miriad of additional featureas and options will make it easy. Due to its nature it might work slower on waker machines so it may take time between you click on record and it starts recording but you will always know when it does so there is no chance of recording or cutting your recording earlier. Editing is quite easy although applying smooth transitions between cuts with some efects takes some practice.

Vantagens:

Ease of use but losts of advanced settings for more experienced users. Can caputer the screen and your camera/audio at the same time. Lots of customizations, including capturing a piece of screen, video effects (e.g. blurring sensitive data) as well as easy editing. Great effect with little effort.

Desvantagens:

It needs lots of resources on the machine, even for a video editing software. Additionally, rendering will take some time on a regular laptop. Some options, such as the library I found unintuitive to use.

A GREAT, quicker, Easier to learn alternative for "Almost pro-level" video creation

Comentários: I would give it a 95 out of 100. I have very few complaints. I have created some really great looking videos that the average person would not be able to tell if this were done in a program that cost thousands more.

Vantagens:

Easy to get in and do screen captures and video editing. A growing library of cool animations, templates, and effects that they continually add to. Quick tools that are easy to learn to do a lot of effects that are dangerously close to pro platforms like adobe and final cut, only without the massive rendering time etc.

Desvantagens:

Some of the effects are a little cheap looking, but the library of options continues to grow. Sometimes the crashes and bugs are annoying, but I've seen that in the big programs as well. ESPECIALLY FINAL CUT PRO

Good software for beginners

Comentários: Overall I like the software and I think it's a good value for a beginner/semi professional

Vantagens:

The software is really easy to use with drag and drop, easy sliders, ...

Desvantagens:

The software lakes of functionnalities compared to software like Da Vinci Resolve or Premiere Pro (Tracking, rotobrush, ...)

Using Camtasia on new fast hardware

Comentários: It does what it says on the tin and whilst the UX is terrible on a new computer with hi-res screen it's still the software of choice for me until I find something better... or they address the hi-res issues and make me stay forever ;-)

Vantagens:

It's the only tool I've tried that is easy to use and has all the features I'm ever likely to need.

Desvantagens:

Since moving to a faster computer I also have a Hi-Res screen. It's very disappointing that Camtasia has not been updated to support hi-res screens and user experience was better for me on the old computer even if it was slow.

Great overall experience with Camtasia

Comentários: My overall experience with Camtasia has been an A+. I have taken the certification and have thoroughly enjoyed the tutorials. These have led to me being a more productive content creator.

Vantagens:

Camtasia has allowed me to quickly transition to the video editing world and make creative content that is both educational and stimulating. The staff at Tech Smith is always making refinements, which gives me the confidence to continue learning and creating.

Desvantagens:

There is no formal way to request features through the software.

Camtasia Can Be a Better Fit than More Expensive Video Editors

Comentários: Camtasia has always exceeded my expectations. It's way more powerful than people might expect, I know quite a bit about Camtasia but I totally admit there are more some features I haven't learned yet how to use but I know they exist and when I need them I know they will be there. TechSmith is also a really great company to work with, they really care about their products and making them better.

Vantagens:

1) The hot spot feature, it's something other tools just don't have. 2) Camtasia has pre-built features that other tools don't have, you can just do things much faster in Camtasia than what it takes me to do in Premiere and Final Cut. 3) TechSmith has made a lot of smart decisions by creating a video editor that most people can learn how to use in a short amount of time. Albeit that Camtasia is not the most advanced video editing platform but it doesn't have to be, it's perfect for the average person who needs to do some video editing. This is why I love Camtasia, I can ramp up new video editors quickly. Even my advanced video editor now sings the praises of Camtasia, he complained at first but now even he sees the light.

Desvantagens:

We have pushed Camtasia to where it breaks with too many layers, yes I know the workarounds but this could be improved upon. I'm a little concerned about the EOL of the HTML output, please don't lose that feature because it's super important for the hot spot feature.

The Non-Corporate Enthusiast

Comentários: I understand that further development has "corporate appeal" as its main aim. As a single user, a retired non-corporate user, I am not your principal focus. I am getting left behind as recent upgrades reflect corporate rates ($$$$) The program is of great value but upgrade costs for features that I don't use are quickly separating me as a future user. And that would be a shame.

Vantagens:

Camtasia is used frequenty, every week, but often daily. More than a hobbiest, it is a principal tool in my video editing toolbox.

Desvantagens:

I am not a fan of the available navigation tools for timeline editing, but with frequent use, I have my workarounds. I would not want to be without the program.

Great tool with low cost and great results.

Vantagens:

I love how easy it is to use. People who knows zero about video edition or Camtasia can use it within minutes of tutorials. It's a powerfull tool that I use about 10 years already and can see how improved it is.

Desvantagens:

The cost, but it's a local problem, because for us in Brazil is a high cost. But overall, it worth the pay.

Easiest Video Editor - some features need work.

Comentários: I have switched to other video editors. They're either overly complicated (too feature-rich) or too expensive. Some are too simplistic. Camtasia continues to be the easiest to learn, use, and deploy videos. Regardless of whatever tools I try, I keep coming back to Camtasia.

Vantagens:

Camtasia is intuitive. It's pretty easy to understand how to get samples into the editor, how to cut scenes, how to stack videos and audio. There are a lot of audio and video effects that are obvious as to how to use them and what they do. The barriers to entry are very low. And it's a decent price for the capabilities.

Desvantagens:

The new "Background Removal" is not great (moving around causes flickering). A long-time complaint is a lack of Video Titling. No easy way to time-reverse a snippet. Chromakey (remove color) doesn't work well.

A versatile tool for video creation and editing.

I appreciate the simplicity and ease of initiating recordings with Camtasia. It's fantastic for quick editing without distractions. Desvantagens:

While I'm satisfied with many aspects of Camtasia, I feel that the recording speed could be improved to match that of NVIDIA's screen recorder. Additionally, I believe the color grading features could be more extensive, even in the newer versions, and I would welcome advancements like face detection and beautification tools to elevate the editing process further.

Camtasia Pro's and Con's

Comentários: Overall is a good experience. It seems like a solid product built by solid people.

Vantagens:

I find Camtasia afordable and overall functional - and having a permanent license is something I enjoy a lot - for short ownership of product is something I like a lot - and I think that is some of the coolest things about Camtasia.

Desvantagens:

In general, Camtasia is a great software, if it would not be laggy anymore, I think this would take over a lot of other products out there, so if there would be someone on product - defineltly focus on the functionality aspect of things, make it work smooth. If Camtasia would work smooth I think the number of users would start growing, other features I would keep on hold - do small improvements here and there. I would prioritize smoothness of editing - loading of assets and overall day to day operations on it. I would also probalby split the Camtasia Software as a base for editing and I would create a monetizeable library of assets for it - powered by community - with microtransactions where Camtasia keeps a certain percentage and commnunity can make money as well. This way there would be community engagement and new assets or even add-ons for editing different things.

Great Product, One Minor Flaw

Comentários: Really good! Great product if you're doing screen capture videos, and the editor interface is intuitive. Customer service is good. Fair warning on the mobile Capture app, but that's more of a nice to have than an essential feature, and other than that this is a fantastic product that's very reasonably priced.

Vantagens:

It's easy to use, and it does a great job of all the basic things you need it to do.

Desvantagens:

The only quibble I have at all is that the mobile app (Capture) is buggy. When it works it's super useful, but it frequently doesn't work for me, which has caused me major heartache at times. It's gotten to the point where I no longer use it, as I can't afford to lose work. The downside of this is that, while I can use my iPhone's native screen recording feature, 1) that has its own bugs, namely that if I record for longer than a few minutes it'll freeze, and 2) it doesn't record sound. The only reason the sound recording aspect of Capture is useful to me when the app is working is that it allows me to visually sync my desktop and mobile Capture tracks. Basically, when I'm including mobile content in a video, it's usually overlaid on top of a desktop background. I use a condenser mic to capture high quality audio, so I don't even use the audio from the Capture app in the finished product, but it's useful to have, because I can separate the audio and video from the Capture track and visually line up the audio with the audio from my condenser mic. So this just makes my editing process a little easier. It's not that big a deal, definitely not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice if they'd address it at some point.

Does the job for me

Comentários: Overall, very happy about Camtasia. Makes my life a lot easier :-)

Vantagens:

Easy-of-use and fast result - it is easy to capture the elements I need (Screen Capture), make a few edis and create and publish the video

Desvantagens:

I have sometimes had some technical issues - mostly because Camtasia creates some temp recording that fill up space on my local storage - and eventually breaks down. Solution is to remove the temp recordings - maybe this should be something that is build into Camtasia

I keep coming back

Vantagens:

Camtasia is intuitive and easy to use. I've used other video editing software and Camtasia is my favourite because I can create videos faster. I used an older version for years because it worked just fine. I recently upgraded because there are so many new features that allow me to make even better quality videos

Desvantagens:

I wish audio editing was part of the program. I use one other program that has an AI editor that removes background noise that I wish was part of Camtasia

Camtasia Personal and Professional Use

Vantagens:

I have used this product for years and love the ease of use. I also enjoy how easy it is to import assets.

Desvantagens:

I struggled with storage for a while causing Camtasia to quit unexpectedly as well as clipping my recordings to 1 minute without notifying me. It took me awhile to determine what the issue was. It would be nice to have a more clear alert for issues like this.

Not worth it. Use CapCut Instead

Comentários: Early on it worked great, now it is too buggy to use, my subscription goes for 5 more months but I refuse to use it and I will let it expire.

Vantagens:

Audio mixing is the only good feature compaire dto other similar products.

Desvantagens:

Slow, expensive and very buggy. Too many updates and patches.

Camtasia For Indutrial Training

Comentários: Overall, it is a great tool that works great and gets the job done.

Vantagens:

Camtasia is the best tool for what we do in providing training video for machine set up and maintenance simulator training. I am also a Premiere Pro and Final Cut User, but for training you guys are top notch. The call outs, annotations and simplicity are why we choose Camtasia for this type of work.

Desvantagens:

The only real feature I miss from my other products is the ease for white balance correction and color adjustment. I do not find it intuitive so often I will edit color in FCPX and then export back into Camtasia. I am sure with time, I could become proficient, but the addition of a luma graph, vectorscope, color wheels, white balance correction tools, etc. would be a great addition to me.

Easy and efficient way to capture and share content with your colleagues.

Comentários: I love how intuitive the GUI is to use.

Vantagens:

The learning curve for all the TechSmith products is easy. You will save time by capturing and creating products quickly without much practice. Create presets to speed up your process even more.

Desvantagens:

It would be nice if updates could be processed without admin support. (in a corporate setting)

The video size is to heavy. Hope they will correct it.

Making Videos of Academic Powerpoint Presentations

Comentários: Excellent -- I first used this to capture and render as video many medical presentations created in the University of Kentucky's Dept. of Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine. Later I found Camtasia very helpful in preserving, updating, and sharing my own academic/scholarly presentations; many of these from years ago were in old Powerpoint formats, which I showed at academic meetings.

Vantagens:

I love the ease of capturing AND then modifying or enhancing my old academic or scholarly Powerpoint presentation. Once I create them in Camtasia, they are easy to share on YouTube or Vimeo or in other ways, allowing some of my older but still significant or important work to be preserved and shared!

Desvantagens:

Initial learning curve was significant, but that's true of all powerful video capture and editing platforms I have used.
