Vantagens:

No matter the size, this product is easily adaptable to fit your parish. The Support Team responded to our questions quickly and helped us get on line quickly.

Desvantagens:

With 70 tables and 700 seats it has been a little difficult for users to determine available seating by being required to hover over each individual table to see how many seats are left.

Comentários: I enjoyed the overall experience. What was great about ThunderTix was a combination of two things, dependability and customer service. Whenever I had a question they answered it either by phone or email in a timely manner. They were also very thorough as to what you cannot and could do. With much creativity and flexibility there isn't really much you cannot do with their ticketing system.

Vantagens:

It's affordable with its different ticketing plans, and you are not stuck paying an outrageous percentage of your sales. *Customer Service *Dependable *Automated Pre-sale system *Automated Post-sale system *Works on smartphones and tablets with easy. *Promotional tools. *Easy simple buttoning system even low tech Church volunteers of an elderly age were able to operate. *SSL Encryption on their end. *Works with multiple merchant portals

Desvantagens:

I am not really sure. They seem to even be concerned about quickly changing their system to benefit you from their open customer support page. You can see what the customers complained about, and even how they solved it. It was freaking incredibly risky, but also awesome to see how they fixed it. So if there are issues which I did not experience, they probably won't last too long.

Comentários: Being new to ticketing myself ThunderTix is the first platform I have tried. Our theatre association previously used another platform and all I heard were horror stories and how they couldn't wait to move on to something else.
A trusted associate in IT found ThunderTix for me and we made the switch.
Working within the program has been crazy easy; I love it.
We have several volunteers in our box office and they are all amazed at how easy it is to use.

Vantagens:

Ease of Creating Events Ease of Managing Events Creation of Custom Ticketing and Email Confirmations Ease of Ticket Purchasing Quick Links to to Reports

Desvantagens:

Entering Patrons One at a Time (with hundreds of patrons it will be time consuming and therefore the project has not been started)

Excellent Ticketing Site

Comentários: We've been with them for 3 years now. Certainly much better than Brown Paper Tickets, which we used before. There are a lot of features that are very beneficial to our ticketing process.

Vantagens:

I think the best thing is the immediate response from the support team with questions we have.

Desvantagens:

There are some features that are rather hard to find and figure out.

Fine but not the best option out there

Comentários: I feel like the biggest benefit is the price and the customization of the software. I would highly recommend spending quality time on the set-up to ensure you're using it to the best of its ability for your organization.

Vantagens:

The customization is really nice -- from show details, customer reminders, and prices. The customer side of things is really clean and well setup.

Desvantagens:

The navigation can be non-intuitive, but understandable once you get the lay of the land. The biggest issue we've come across is the inability to delete or archive orders. Our group sales processes including deposits were always in jeopardy of getting really messy on the back end. Even leaving notes about orders that you couldn't later update would get irritating for the small space provided.

Thanks for your great feedback! Since your review, we completely redesigned our entire box office portal! The navigation was completely changed and is much more intuitive than before. You can now enter multiple notes on an order, and they can be both edited and/or deleted! In addition, we made improvements to interlinking wherever possible to make it easier than ever! We truly aim to be the most efficient, time saving software. If you have specific suggestions, I am all ears. ThunderTix is a MUST have

Comentários: Adding ThunderTix to our theater program has been a game changer. In our first event series, we hit our maximum tickets sales ever. We also received amazing feedback from our guests about how easy it was to reserve tickets, not having to arrive super early to save seats, and that check-in at the front lobby was very smooth.
I like the versatility of being able to scan tickets with your phone/devices or just have a laptop stationed in the lobby asking for the guests name. Either way is very straight-forward and allows you to check-in guests and get them to their seats much faster (or the concession stand!!)

Vantagens:

My two favorite things about ThunderTix is the ease of setting up an event and venue map. And the reporting features! Its very customizable and I can see just the data that I need during an event and even more during our post-event reporting.

Desvantagens:

There is one screen that auto-scrolls up every time the page loads which is a little frustrating to an admin...but the customer doesn't see this page so its a minor issue.

Comentários: Customer service and internal team are very knowledgable with their product. Great listeners and always looking for improvements in their products.

Vantagens:

Customer Service is top notch!! Easy to submit tickets online, and get responses within minutes or few hours. Ease of use. Flexibility of different seating charts. Like the feature voting.

Desvantagens:

Would like to be able to have one login for both of our sites. We have 2 venues to manage. Requires using 2 different browsers in order to have both logged in at a time.

Incredible support, easy interface for admin & end user, love it!

Comentários: Incredible. I had explored a few different sites and this one was the easiest to set up, with consistent, kind and useful instructions from the support team with any questions or needs I had. I would strongly recommend to anyone new to ticketing platforms, or to those who want a support team that follows through and cares about your outcomes. I will be continuing to use Thundertix for my client.

Vantagens:

The ease of the platform to set up events, have multiple types of tickets, create a donation campaign, collect various reports. Most of all, I found their customer service to be one of the best I have ever encountered. They are kind, knowledgeable, patient, clearly communicate and helped me every step of the way in a stressful time to get the ticketing functions up and running for a client of mine. I adore their skill and incredible support!

Desvantagens:

While the report options are comprehensive, it is a bit confusing to know what reports will produce what data, and so while I am new to the site, I still have to hunt to figure out which ones I need and how to best display the needed information for tickets, and donations. But i'm learning!

ThunderTix Review - Small Historic Theater

Comentários: Excellent experience--able to get personal attention to questions but the product is designed with user experience in mind so we have been able to implement and use it without much need for such help.

Vantagens:

As a small theater, we find ThunderTix to be very easy and intuitive to use. It also has all of the features we need and want, including the new Membership capability.

Desvantagens:

I have not yet figured out how to use ThunderTix while on my phone/smart device- not sure if that is possible.

Simple, Straightforward Ticketing with Excellent Support

Comentários: The experience has been very positive over all. I find that other ticketing software I have used make it possible to do everything and impossible to do anything. They get so bogged down in customizability that it makes it very difficult to make the most basic thing a ticketing software needs: the ability to sell tickets. Our organization is a small, 100% volunteer community theatre. Without staff, using a software that has a million bells and whistles but takes months to master just wasn't an option for us. ThunderTix was immediately very easy to use. Once I did about an hour's worth of set up and purchasing, sent in our seating map, and uploaded our contact list, everything was really straight forward and intuitive. Not to mention, for moments where something might not be as clear, there's a unique amount of amazing documentation and videos provided by the staff that make it a lot easier for our volunteers. Their support is awesome and they take recommendations and bug reports really seriously. It sort of has a "local business" feel to it.

Vantagens:

ThunderTix is cost-effective compared to other options on the market. It's easy to use with intuitive and thoughtful configuration. The design is empathetic and prioritizes access in a way that is refreshing for ticket software. The support is outstanding and their documentation is comprehensive. Our customers think the process is seamless and clear, and we have had no reports of a negative customer experience to date.

Desvantagens:

Support is awesome, but figuring out how to contact them can get convoluted because it's clear they want to lead you to their truly excellent documentation first. That's fine for "how do I" style questions, but makes reporting bugs pretty difficult. When we were setting up ThunderTix, it kind of felt like we were paying for every little thing: venue configuration, having reserved tickets, purchasing our POS equipment, etc.-- we didn't feel misled by the indicated pricing on the website, though, simply because those are primarily one time expenses.

I love the fact that you find our system easy for volunteers to use, Renae! Our design team spends a huge time on little things to make it easy. And how about those support reps? They are anything but unsung heroes to our clients, and I know they'll appreciate your words. So, thank you! I'm truly sorry you felt dinged by small fees. We really strive to be the perfect price point for smaller organizations, so we obviously have some work to do to explain any extras. Some costs such as hardware of course, are required to be passed on to the customer. By venue configuration, perhaps you mean the seating chart setup. We are looking at DIY processes to allow you to create them on your own, but we're not there yet. We'll keep improving areas for self-help to help small organizations feel confident in their choices. Just the event ticketing software we needed

Comentários: I really couldn't fathom the level of attention we received from ThunderTix. We are a very small non-profit. But we were treated like we were their most important customer. They get our highest customer service recommendation. Fantastic.

Vantagens:

We are a non-profit that has 2 model train shows a year. We currently have 500 to 1,000 attendees to our 1 day shows. We believe we can grow our attendance by selling advance tickets. We are a family friendly event and we believe that families will find it helpful to be able to purchase tickets in advance. ThunderTix provides all the features we need. They actually have more features than we need. We don't do reserve seating and there are no limits on how many tickets we can sell, within reason. Our main criteria was not having to worry about attendees duplicating tickets and being able to self-serve purchasing tickets, printing their own ticket, and reprinting their own ticket if needed.

Desvantagens:

There were a couple of minor issues getting set up with our payment processor. However ThunderTix was EXTREMELY proactive and helpful getting these problems resolved.

There is a lot to be said for a company that just "gets it".

Comentários: I have enjoyed partnering with Thundertix over the last ten years. Of all the vendors I have used in my 29 years in this business, there are probably less than 5 that just "gets it", and Thundertix is one of those few. The product works better than advertised, the support has always been top-shelf, and everyone has always followed through on what has been said. That carries a lot of weight with me, and I would give my complete endorsement of the Thundertix brand to anyone that is looking for an event management and ticketing solution. The software is an IT Department dream come true -- something that works so well that you practically forget it is even there. If we ever decide to resume any form of entertainment series again, the Thundertix team will be my first call.

Vantagens:

From the day we began searching for an event management solution, Thundertix quickly set themselves apart from the competition with simple business ideals that are lost in today's business environment. Timely communication, quick answers, and a quiet confidence of knowledge and expertise stood out to me. The product is clearly engineered from the beginning with the non-technical end-user in mind, as my users effortlessly began using the software to manage events and ticketing without a barrage of calls to IT Tech Support.

Desvantagens:

I am hard pressed to find something that I liked least about the Thundertix package. If there were ever any issues that came up, they were resolved so quickly that it didn't warrant enough merit to be remembered.

Comentários: Thundertix has eliminated many of the issues that we were having with residents purchasing tickets. The process from announcing upcoming events to selling/purchasing tickets is easy for our staff and residents. The reports that we need to print are readily available and easy to understand.

Vantagens:

ThunderTix is easy to use. Each month I am responsible for inputting our event tickets on line to over 19,000+ residents. This system allows me to get the information out to the residents ahead of each scheduled event and select a date and time for them to go on sale.

Desvantagens:

My only suggestion would to have a contact number for an emergency issue. The forum is great but if you need help immediately it would be nice to be able to contact a live person.

Denise, it sounds like you have quite a task managing events for enough residents to fill a small town! That's quite a task you have, and I'm glad to know we have a part in making you more efficient! You are correct that we don't have a contact number, but that doesn't prevent us from picking up the phone during critical times. We're available 24/7/365, and if you are yelling "Fire!", we promise it's never to an empty room. ThunderTix was an easy critical upgrade at a crucial time

Comentários: We had a service provider go insane on us, demanding unbelievable payments in an almost extortionate setting. I researched the options, limited by our resources, and determined they were many of the things that aligned with our company and its mission statement: Regionally based, woman owned, technologically current.
The entire conversion took only a few days. We were up and running with them in less that a week and have NEVER missed a single event.
They have PERSONALLY reached out to us multiple times for feedback, concerns, and ideas. We have not been unhappy about a single thing technologically or as a customer.

Vantagens:

It has been a very easy, extremely reliable tool that I can take completely for granted.

Desvantagens:

The price is competitive, but they are being forced to follow market costs. While the features expand, the price has to. We have not had need of the more advanced features, but a more advanced company/user would definitely benefit from them immediately.

In general, being taken for granted doesn't generate feelings of positivity, but we love it! When you don't really notice our software, we know we're doing things right -- like letting you work more efficiently. Inflation is the highest it's been in 40 years, so I'm glad you feel we've remained competitively priced. We believe we are priced better than any other professional platform. Interestingly, Jason, we feel like some of the smallest organizations have the most to gain especially around efficiency. Automated round-up donations for easier fundraising, automated email reminders and post-event surveys, and so much more. Easy to use.

Vantagens:

Ease of use and good graphics, etc. Still some areas needing to be corrected.

Desvantagens:

Printing out the evenings ticket purchases not complete. We have to manually write in admin. comments. Only way to easily print is using right click on mouse and choosing print. This does not show all of the information needed. Need a better print option. Also, doing an exchange on a season ticket package does not fill in the correct amount and we have to zero out the ticket price so that it is not requesting money to be paid. Only works correctly for single ticket prices.

Easy to setup and use.

Vantagens:

It's very easy to setup, customize and implement ticket sales. It's also easy to make changes to tickets that have already been purchased. I also like the ease of accessing purchased ticket holder information.

Desvantagens:

The file size for uploading an image seemed too small for what I wanted to use.

Comentários: Their tech support is second to NONE. Any time I've sent tech support requests, their response has been measured in minutes (not hours or days). Their responses have been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Any downsides that we've had with the system has been addressed in service updates. Well Done!!!

Vantagens:

Thundertix seems to check all the boxes when it comes to running tickets for a small community musical theatre playhouse. We don't utilize all the features (like concession/merch sales, assigned seating or gift cards) but the features we DO use has made our lives so much easier. Especially when it comes to customer confidence when emergency needs arise (exchanges, refunds, or bulk refunds).

Desvantagens:

I don't know that we've come up with any scenarios that haven't been addressed by the Thundertix team (for our needs)

The Best Online Ticketing Model

Comentários: When we selected ThunderTix they were the only online ticket service that we could find that did not charge a 'per ticket service fee' to our customers. That model was vital to our selection as we do not believe online ticketing should be cost a premium over walk-ups. We knew that ticket fees never come down at other online ticketing providers, with some now charging over 50% of the ticket face value as an additional fee (ex. $15/ticket + $8.15 service fee). ThunderTix remains an ever-improving system that we continue to believe is the right model for online ticketing. Our patrons want the cost of ticketing to be part of our theatre operation cost. We would love to see the company add CRM and e-mail marketing modules to the back-end to allow management of more than just our ticketing. Patron/donor/volunteer mgmt tools would be a plus for this product in the future to compete with other new CRM/ticketing solutions that are still adopting the per-ticket-service-fee model.

A lot has changed since 2011 -- In February 2014, ThunderTix rolled out a full CRM for patron management. It includes complete patron purchase history, donations management, robust filtering to report on multiple levels of customer data. All error messages that a patron might see during the purchase process have been modified, all order data saved on a declined transaction, and all fields with problems highlighted in red to make it very clear to the ticket buyer what needs to be completed and/or corrected. We moved over to the cloud in April of 2012 and since then have more than quadrupled speeds for page load time. ThunderTix is now in the 97th percentile of web-based software applications in terms of speed. This week, ThunderTix is going to be rolling out a direct email marketing tool that connects with MailChimp. Mailing lists are automatically updated with new subscribers direct from ThunderTix and emails to various lists can be directly emailed from within the ThunderTix login.

Comentários: The level of customer service alone is why I've purchased and continued to use Thundertix and won't go anywhere else.

Vantagens:

I like the ease of use and implementation into our system.

Desvantagens:

There were some features in past that needed improvement but the company does listen to it's clients and generally fixes things upon demand of it's customers. The only thing left for them to do is to have more options for virtual ticket sales and integration.
