Algumas dificuldades de conversão em modelos de imagem e pdf, muita desformatação.

Smartdraw is a truly fantastic product

Vantagens:

There are lots of templates to start with, which makes it a lot easier to get started with this software. I like the integration with popular tools such as Trello and Jira. I also like the easy export to PDF. It's a great feature I use a lot.

Desvantagens:

There's definitely a learning curve before one can confidently use this software. I often find that zooming in doesn't work as smoothly as I'd expect.

SmartDraw - Review

Comentários: Very happy with overall experience with smartdraw. So never got the chance to think about an alternative.

Vantagens:

Its an essential tool especially in IT Field to design network topology. Almost everything is there in templates to make the diagram more presentable and selfexplanatory.

Desvantagens:

Nothing at the moment as negative. Never changed to any other software for network design drawing.

Free trial is NOT a free trial

Desvantagens:

I tried to use the free trial on this software. As soon as I finished the drawing I couldn't export, share or print without purchasing. Furthermore I tried to sign in, figuring I could at least save it online to show my builder the plans and got notified that my trial had now expired and I had to pay if I wanted to access my plans again. So basically if I want to see my plans ever again that I spent the last 2 hours drawing, I have to pay smartdraw, and they only have an option to purchase annually. It's super underhanded and sneaky the way they try to get people to pay for their software, as a result, if ever I need any design software, I will most definitely NOT be using or recommending smartdraw.Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my life smartdraw.

Tool for Draw Diagrams !

Desvantagens:

*Not features as Visio. *Bit expensive price for a tool. *Not able to multi-users collaboration.

Comentários: The diagramming is excellent for getting the information to others, helps to understand and document ideas, with this software the experience is unique, we have presented ideas of work, organization in diagrams and diagrams that have allowed us to understand, visualize the flow of information circulating in our area and the importance of each step we take from beginning to end

Vantagens:

Create your diagrams and document the processes step by step of your workflow, ideal for planning strategies, powerful and easy to use, contains many templates to choose from to make your visual presentations.

Desvantagens:

The price can be a problem, since it is really expensive

Comentários: The ability to create powerful, moving charts and mind maps.

Vantagens:

My absolute favorite thing about SmartDraw is the simple drag and drop to build out anything from mind maps to flowcharts and more. An especially good investment for anyone needing to make their ideas clear and points understood in a powerful way.

Desvantagens:

The design of the dashboard could be better. It is a bit boring for all that it does. The layout would be better if I had the whole screen and the options to drag and drop were at the top.

Comentários: Very easy interface to work with, and that helped me quickly set out the office layout for our 100 person team and modify as people's requirements changed through the process.

Vantagens:

I've used this for years to plan out the cubicle layout of our office, the details and features make it very easy to visualize and help people determine the best fits. Once you get the general structure it's really easy to keep things up to date.

Desvantagens:

A little bit of learning curve and the huge variety of detailed images available is a little hard to navigate.

SmartDraw is a software with potential and it's amazing the plenty of things you can make with this

Flowchart and layout design

Comentários: I´ve developed lot of layout study and flowcharts for my company using this simple app!!

Vantagens:

Very easy and simple way to make a layout study oir even trace new process flowcharts diagrams.

Desvantagens:

Maybe the webapp funcionality, several errors while open and costant shut down.

BizzDesign is the best diagramming tool I've used

Vantagens:

This is a heavy duty, feature packed software. Whereas most software with this degree of functionality is usually not intuitive, BizzDesign is. It is incredible for being able to integrated documentation with process flows and diagrams.

Desvantagens:

The cost is a little high. I think it's worth it overall though.

Worst program I have ever bought!

Comentários: Tried to draw floor plan for a house we are building, took FOREVER to get a plan together. Don't waste your money, I should have asked for a refund.

Vantagens:

Relatively inexpensive, somewhat easy use

Desvantagens:

Lost count...tried using SmartDraw to create a floor plan for a house we are building and so far have a list of about 2-3 dozen issues and it keeps growing. I have encountered each issue multiple times on different computers with different operating systems so I know it is the program. Issues range from minor issues like I try to expand walls or measure lines with a click and drag of a mouse and the wall or measure lines jumps from 3 foot in length to 45 foot in length or longer or I try to copy and paste a door and a wall gets pasted to major and the most frustrating issues like locking up every 10 - 15 minutes or after a I save a file then reopen it later, doors and windows have moved, room measure lines in some places have moved (even locking objects does not fix this). They sent me an updated version, but it did not help. Then they wanted me to disable user account controls even though it could cause security issues because they know it creates a lot of false positives, nice.

Complexity - which is a factor of how robust the software is, so it’s not really a criticism.

Good when it doesn't crash

Comentários: Cannot recommend to others due to the continual crashing. When it works it does a good job. Customer support were good when I contacted them several times in the first year. They gave me a program to remove the software and a link to re-install each time, sometimes worked well for a few times but then the crashing started again. Interested to hear others still experience the same problem with the latest version.

Vantagens:

Good when it works, good symbol library, versatile

Desvantagens:

Have the desktop version for drawing floor plans only and have persevered with it for 2 years (version 2017). It regularly crashes on me as others have detailed. If it crashes once you may as well start again as it will crash continually after that. For the price I paid I was hoping for much better and feel ripped off.

For those who are Visual Planners

Vantagens:

I was a programmer in the 70's and flowcharts and diagrams were how we designed applications and programs. SmartDraw was a great tool to get ideas "on paper" without having to draw it out, erase changes and store the diagrams in a file folder. It was a great transition to a digital format.

Desvantagens:

No tool is a "perfect fit" for everyone and doesn't solve every need but this fills the diagram need nicely.

Payment Plan a deterrent

Comentários: Many of our processes were formalized using Smartdraw, unfortunately we have since moved on.

Vantagens:

Great software for flow charts and process maps. Used extensively for 3 years under a one time license.

Desvantagens:

Was only available for Windows at time of last use, since then it has moved to a subscription, web-based platform which is a significant cost considering other better-value or free softwares that can do the same.

First time I used to submit a drawing for my business and it took me no time to complete my drawing.

Comentários: It saved me a lot of money by not hiring an architect to draw the set up of my restaurant which was one of the first steps to get an approval.

Vantagens:

Easy to navigate and ease of use. It took me a few clicks and I was able to find all kinds of things I needed to work on my projects. One of the requirements for my business was to submit a blueprint and I was told I need an Architect for that but I was also told that if I can draw and provide details in my drawings, it will be accepted so I purchased SmartDraw although I have no knowledge how to use it. It was easy...really.

Desvantagens:

It didn't have some of the drawings I needed so I have to improvise. This took me a little time come up with the desired drawing of object I needed; but it still worked.

Helpful and versatile

Vantagens:

The templates give you a structure when you are starting out and make things easier for you . The data migration process is intuitive and relatively quick .

Desvantagens:

More customization options when setting up the metrics you would like to follow would be welcome . Some functions are more complex and you need to be trained to use them .

I use SmartDraw to prepare visual documents in management area

Comentários: communication support and good way to share knowledge with others

Vantagens:

SmartDraw has tons of images to support visual documentation. It's great way to share knowledge with others using this solution. I use SmartDraw to create: process maps, easy mindmaps, data flows and creative mix of ideas. Sometimes there is good opportunity to export document as image file and put to MS Excel and add contextual values to present bigger picture of business in easy to understand way (complex but easy to see relations).

Desvantagens:

I'd like to see more options in mindmapping area, to be able to manage task information in advanced way.

Great Tool for Simple Drawing

Comentários: This software is great for all types of people and professionals.

Vantagens:

Smart draw allows me to be able to give customers an overhead look of a drawing for our container designs.

Desvantagens:

Sometimes I wish there was some more customizable floorplans that are preset. That would make it easier for me to not waste time.

SmartDraw Review

Comentários: Overall, it does everything you need it to do and it is easy to use.

Vantagens:

My company asked me to try the software as an alternative to Viso. It's simple to use and easy to export files. It has a lot functionality. I like the ability to create everything from mindmaps to flowcharts. You can customize the color and input dimensions if needed as well.

Desvantagens:

It does seem to slow down my laptop when I'm using it. I don't know if this is the software itself or if this is a result of older technology but it does consume a lot of resources.

Smartdraw for Warehouse Planning

Comentários: Smartdraw has made it a lot easier to plan out a new warehouse layout to scale. It is a very helpful tool. There are tons of presets for racking, shelves forklifts, pallets. You name it, this software has it.

Vantagens:

Software is easy to use. The thing I like most about it is that the software run online, all you need is an internet browser and you can access the software. Your projects are also all saved online, you can access your software and files from any computer with an internet connection.

Desvantagens:

I don't like that when I hit ctrl and zoom with my mouse it uses the browsers zoom function instead of just zooming within the software window. It drives me nuts. There should be an easier way to zoom in and out than clicking the slider and manually zooming.
