A Software That Provides Multi-Currencies Rates

Vantagens:

We often have to compute in multi-currencies at work since trading deals with different countries and it’s comforting to note that there is a program that indicates the exchange rates. I was very attracted to Currency Xchanger from the minute I tried it. I started with the free trial and it got me hooked right away. This program keeps track in controlling your stock and providing the best estimate on rates and costs. The program also includes information on profit and loss when there are exchanges in currency. I deal with numbers everyday and Currency Xchanger has been my sidekick for computing in different currencies.

Desvantagens:

The software seems to be designed for advanced users because some of my co-workers had a difficult time navigating through the process. Perhaps they should have better tutorials for people who are not experts in technology.

Comentários: Training videos and the manuals are super useful. Go over them and you will quickly master this great platform.

Vantagens:

Working in the investment banking world requires to stay on top of things, including foreign currencies and international business news. CurrencyXchanger is our go to software for currency exchange rates. CurrencyXchanger keeps track of all our international stock rates for us for certain campaigns and works great as a platform for uniting all the necessary tools in one place. I am personally an avid user of CX after trying many similar software prior.

Desvantagens:

CX provides us with everything we expect it to, and it does so well.

Currency Xchanger Software

Comentários: I have tested three softwares and The Currency Xchanger is the best by far. I love that reports are customizable and the data information in each client profile is easy. With Compliance rules and regulations this software gives you the options to require information over certain transaction amounts and OFAC screening. The tab with KYC (Know your customer) is the best feature I use. I would highly recommend this Software to all Money Service Businesses and financial entities. The support staff is great he can always tailor the software to your business is one of the reasons why World BNotes Exchange Inc. still uses Clearview systems.

Desvantagens:

Denomination entry has now been an issue there is another screen that pops up. Before it was much easier once we entered denominations in the system but now it just pops up every time.

CurrencyXchanger Business Server- Multi Branch

Comentários: I would recommend the system to other foreign exchanges. It's very reliable and our business is relying on it for our everyday transactions. This software is very user-friendly too and everyone at every level can operate with it. This is BIG PLUS.

Vantagens:

I like the fact that all our branches can work with the same central system. I really like the new features added in the new version. 3.457. It made our work much easier. The OFAC and OSFI automatic checks are excellent and can help us with our compliance program. All the things that are automated are helping us. The fact that the system is now faster than previous version is a great plus I really appreciate that some of our suggestions are implemented in the system.

Desvantagens:

The minor issues are: - sometimes it freezes on certain occasion. - the rates server sometimes doesn't update the rates. - we would like to see improvement in the POS for non-currency items (better reporting for non currency items) - the denominations inventory could be improved - I would like to see an internal chatting system for the staff. I would like to see a specific message to a specific user, as we have many staff working for us now. - How much you made on a client, statistics on the client. average performance for a particular client. Answering questions like "Who's the best client" based on different parameters (based on referrals, volume, number of transactions). This feature is good for clients retention. - I can see who has been active in the past few years but I want to see who is not active. - Trading features need to be improved

After using a multimillion dollar custom designed point of sale system for many years, I anticpated it would be very difficult to find a replacement until I came across the Clear View Currency Exchanger System. Beginning with the ease of the installation process continuing through a year of ongoing training, it has been a pleasure to work with such as professional organization. The system is extremely user freindly, and has many advanced features necessary to capture all of our auditing and compliance needs. Tiran has been extemely helpful in customizing the system to meet all of our unique requests for our business. One of the features we find very useful is the ease in which you can create specific accounts to meet you individual business needs. Another is the ability to retain repeat customer information to use for future transactions. In addition, this feature may be used as a marketing tool by capturing specific spending patterns throughout the year.

Desvantagens:

As with all new systems, there are many features of the system that we are just beginning to know exist, and when we find we are accustomed to something that Clear View does not have, or can not do, Tiran is there to see if there is a way to incorporate it into the system.

Comentários: After trying around 5 different Currency Exchange Software, we decided to go for Currency Xchanger. To our surprise, it was the best and the most capable software in this Category. Its absolutely lucid in terms of Customization. Every aspect of Retail Foreign Exchange Business is addressed. Different modules like Expenses, Banking, Customization of Customer Profiles, In built Money Laundering Checks, Bookings for Wire Transfers are the best features of the Software. Its very robust and capable Software. There are no other software available in the market which has all these features. If you are running a Foreign Exchange Business this is a absolutely must have software.
Technical Support and Customer Service- Absolutely 10 out 10 marks on this. Even though on different Continent and different Time Zone, the response time is very swift. Responded to every query. Addressed all the issues and helped a lot in building required reporting system. Very happy with over all functioning of the Software. We are using at different locations currently and will be using in all of our future Trading Locations. Strongly recommended. Keep it up !!! Kudos !!!!

There is no quick download off the website and it is a time consuming process to install the product on a Mac.

The complexity of CurrencyXchanger has been a true asset to the business and has allowed us to streamline compliance, reporting, stock management and data collection in a way that suits our retail environment. None of these goals would have been possible to achieve without the ongoing support and training from Tiran and Houman, which resulted in an overwhelming task becoming a smooth roll-out in the business. We are looking forward exploring the system further as it has become a true asset to our business.

Flexible, powerful, and easy to use

Comentários: Pros: The software is relatively easy to set up and tweak to specific needs, and it is also easy to train new tellers on the day-to-day usage of the system. The incorporated sanction-list checks guarantee that your tellers never do business illegaly. Customer service is great and response time for any issue big or small is excellent. The CurrencyXchanger team also takes customer suggestions seriously and attempts to incorporate positive changes to the system on a consistent basis. After a relatively short period of adaptation, tellers are truly able to perform transactions much more quickly than with competing software.
Cons: the system is missing some creature comforts that would be useful for productivity, such as integrated TWAIN scanner support and the possibility to integrate support for valid currency and document list providers.
On the whole, we have found this system to be exactly what we have needed, and the developers respond to our requests for additional features soon after we find we can use them.

CurrencyXchanger is an invaluable tool for any Forex business

Comentários: I would recommend this as an invaluable tool to any Forex business. It creates structure around tasks, minimizes the time involved to do them and acts as a means of tracking the actions completed. Overall for both employer and employee this is a great tool.

Vantagens:

The software is easy to use. There is a common template across each of the different sections which makes it easy to navigate through them, when you get familiar with the menu bars etc in one section you can apply this knowledge to all of the other sections. The Invoice section is great, it cuts out a huge amount of work and time involved to do this task. It automatically checks customers against the OFAC and OPSFI list. The reports are very useful and a good way to keep track of data that may otherwise be lost. The user manual is concise and easy to follow. The training videos really helped me, I followed along to the steps and found it was a fast and interesting way to learn the software.

Desvantagens:

A level (at least beginners level) of understanding of Foreign Exchange processes is needed to use the software.

One of the best Foreign Exchange Software

Comentários: I always tell AMEX employees that CurrencyXchanger is the best system!

Vantagens:

- I love the system as I worked many years with the old AMEX Express Change, system and this is much faster. - I like the fact that it's so easy to pull up a customers profile, cause it saves a lot of time as we have many repeat customers. We didn't have this feature in Express Change. - I like the fact that we can do multiple currencies in one invoice. - I like the confidential notes about the customer.

Desvantagens:

- When we reach a thousand I would like the system to automatically print a form with all the compliance information to be filled. In express change we had that form. That's one think - I would like to see the currency name under the code, on the receipt. Some codes are difficult to remember so it would help to have the real name of the currency. - I would like to be able to hide the name of the customer on the receipt, if the customer wishes. - I would like the system to prevent me to short sell a currency.

Vantagens:

We have been using CurrencyXchanger since January 2008. It was sluggish to get familiar with the different icons (functions) at first but once they are learned and understood, it became very easy to use. Functions are extremely user-friendly once you get to apply them in a business environment. The system is also very flexible and can be adapted to any type of currency exchange business (based on volume or type of business). Before purchasing this product we examined various other products on the market but none had the flexibility of this one. Also the friendly customer support is a major plus

Desvantagens:

There are too many functions to learn at once without a manual. The system can be used quickly for the basic transactions (buy sell) but the more complex functions (ex., analysis of sales per currency) are difficult to understand and adopt without a manual or hands-on training.

Comentários: This system will cover all needs for any Money Service Business. Pros: Customer database module, AML compliance features (KYC), automatic sanction list update, profit and loss reports, customer service, customer input for new versions is welcomed.
Cons: time to learn all the features, some modifications can be required depending on your business.
Overall I would highly recommend this product for any money service business.

It is a great application for me to manage my FX business

Comentários: Easy to manage my FX business, no headache, really help me a lot.

Vantagens:

Friendly interface and easy to use; Integrate with accounting, currency exchange, customer management, booking system, FINTRAC requirement; Well to handle multi-currency: automatic or manually update rate, set my own commission policy; So easy to manage inventory, average cost of each currency, profit or loss; Clearly print invoice, cheques, transaction journal, account details.

Desvantagens:

Specially, I like it the most is the FINTRAC function, I got easily past the examination from the FINTRAC officers last month, because of this software manage the requirement very well, and totally in compliance with the law requirement, i.e. customer requirement, risk assessment, large cash report, suspicious remark, etc, it will pop up a warning msg if you missed customers address, occupation etc. make my job much easier.

Best Currency exchange software

Comentários: I recomend the softwear to all currency exchange dealers regardless of the size and the volume of their company, even if you are using a different softwear and happy with it, see the demo you will be surprised.

Vantagens:

Currency Exchanger is very reliable, user friendly and expensive softwear but its worth it. since we bought the system in 2004 we saved 35 percent on our accounting and book keeping cost every year also it helped us alot in our compliance program,and record keeping. every month or so there are new updates and modifications from the developer, customer support is always there to solve problems and answer questions.

Desvantagens:

exchange rate( rate panel ) update is the only section of the softwear that is not working properly, there are days that we dont get an update on the exchange rates sometimes for more than 2 hours, clear view system is working on the issue and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Overall this software is a great asset for our company.

After the company has repaired the minor bugs it currently has I could say that this software has reached excellence.

This software has everything necessary for a currency exchange/financial institute to run its company. It covers all aspects of the business, from everyday invoices to reconciliation for all of the company accounts. Having this software has been a great asset since our company has not needed to buy any other software for our other applications. Also this software has the ability to filter and export any information necessary to another program, which is also another plus.

Desvantagens:

The eWire money remittance technology has not been updated for a while and the online banking could be improved.

Comentários: We're using currency Exchanger since a year and i never saw powerful, stable, and easy to use program like this software, each time you're using it , you will feel like these guys who made it are real bankers , it contains everything you need and in each version update, they including smart features to the program since the developers keep taking the feedbacks from there customers to make the perfect exchange software and it's really is .
And the technical support are amazing in case if you have a problem or an inquiry , you will get easy access to there support by email or telephone which they already peovided 24 hours international line for anything we need .
We're using currency exchanger since a year and i can see myself using this software for the next 10 years.

Clear View's Foreign Exchange Software

Comentários: It's a great frontline retail system.

Vantagens:

The system is wonderful in terms of ease of use. All FSRs love it and prefer it over Express Change. The previous system that we had Express Change system was always overloaded and slow.

Desvantagens:

-I don't like the fact that it doesn't have an "end of day" - procedure. I would like to see the FSR enter the denominations every day. Basically I would the end of day procedure to be forced on all FSR. I prefer Express Change end of day procedure. - I would like to see Revenue on a daily basis as opposed to "since inception". - The denomination count for each currency should be mandatory. - I would like to see more forced control procedures - I would like to see the compliance forms to be printed from the system automatically.

Comentários: I very highly recommend the program.

Vantagens:

- Implementation was short done in less than 2 hours - it's very easy to use and everything self-explanatory - it's colorful and things can be done quite fast - rates can be updated automatically - it's great the one can check the inventory

Desvantagens:

The program seems to have problem with Windows 7, so we had to reinstall Vista. Once Vista was installed the system was faster. - I want to be able to send the report to FINTRAC right from the program - I want to have the VISA and MasterCard as a method payment istead of an subledger account - Send a booking by email to the customer right with a button - the P&L works based on Inception to Date; I would rather have a periodic P&L

Best Foreign Exchange Software

Comentários: I seriously recommend this product to every business that wants to offer multi-currency Point of Sale, such as Money Service Bureaus.

Vantagens:

I have had a chance to see a demo of the software and I was immediately impressed with the interface and overall design. As a developer myself, I can imagine how much work and sweat equity has been put into this product. The currency rates module get its rates from a reliable source via a .NET web services that I actually helped developing. This product has lots of potential.

Desvantagens:

The product is not web-based and therefore cannot be easily used by multi-branch Foreign Exchange bureaus. The client server architecture allows multi-branch functionality with T1, and T3 lines or faster.
