I liked the integration with my tax software. I only exported my payroll information, reviewed it, and that's it.
The dashboard is TOO confusing for some people-this is NOT technologically inept friendly at all.

User friendly HRIS
Comentários: Paylocity has been amazing through and through. We have been able to do so many great engagement activities thanks to Community. Managers are able to submit journal entries on the go for quick responses and feedback.
Vantagens:
We love the mobile capability for our team. Most features are accessible from smartphones, which helps our technicians in the field.
Desvantagens:
The benefits of EDI transfers were more of an issue that it's worth implementing. Rates changes and the open enrollment spreadsheet is cumbersome. It's our least favorite product.
Paylocity Pays
Vantagens:
All my information is one spot, benefits, time off and company newsletters and HR information.
Desvantagens:
Some information I can't see on the mobile app and it forces me to login to the website.

Comentários: It was a fine HR in her face, but not super well featured

sometimes there are too many reports with similar names that to get the right on you have to go through a lot but it is easy to run reports and if employee works in multiple departments must be vigilant to get in right department. Also the app does not have an employee sign in to correct department if they are in hallway - goes to wrong department
Useful, easy to use features
Comentários: Overall, Paylocity has been the easiest program to use for tracking time worked.
Vantagens:
Kayla city makes it easy to edit your punch time, And to include notes about the reason for the edit. This feature makes keeping easy and updates manageable.
Desvantagens:
All of the features in Paylocity beneficial and easy to use. There’s nothing about this program that I do not like.
Great and Straight Forward
Comentários: Great experience. Used it for a short time and never had an issue with it. Everything ran smoothly. Clocking in and out was easy. Finding your pay stubs was a breeze. Great app
Vantagens:
It is a simple app. Very easy to use and does what you need it to do. Never really had any complaints with it to be honest.
Desvantagens:
I can't really think of anything. Maybe just the fact that it is a lesser known app so it is not as widely used as others and therefore may have less attention shown towards updates and such.

I like that I can access my records at anytime even while at home.

Sometimes it doesn’t record my time and it has to be manually entered.
Paylocity is Worth It
Comentários: My overall experience with Paylocity has been positive.

I like that I can see everything from my paychecks to staff birthdays.

I don't like how the app interface can be tricky sometimes and hard to understand. I also have had some trouble accessing paychecks in the past when I have multiple accounts connected.
One stop shop
Comentários: I really liked it, it was easy to use and had a lot of features which made it a one stop shop for HR things.
Vantagens:
It was easy to use and find things within the platform itself. I liked how HR could upload documents, colleagues could submit journal entries about you, you could add notes, etc.
Desvantagens:
I wouldn’t it say it was Paylocity so much as maybe our HR department not keeping up with PTO. It always looked like you had more than you did because they were behind.
User friendly tool even if you aren't tech savvy
Comentários: Overall I would say this is a very useful tool and fairly user friendly
Vantagens:
Its a very simple and straightforward way to organize payroll at the places I've used it.
Desvantagens:
I don't like that theres not always the easiest way to use templates and replicate past entries.

Vantagens:
The end user employees are able to take care of most questions and issues themselves through the Self Service Portal. Our semi-monthly payroll entry is simple. Like how the recruiting information for a new employee rolls over to onboarding and HR seamlessly.
Desvantagens:
There are some processes that aren't intuitive. For example, setting up HSA bank accounts for individual employees. The integration with our benefits software is a little buggy. There have been errors and I still have to go into our benefits system to make sure terminations and new employees are rolling over.
Happy Customer
Comentários: No system is perfect, but we are overall happy with Paylocity. They have multiple modules that we just keep adding on that make connecting with employees and having one system for multiple aspects of the business very easy.
Vantagens:
Paylocity is easy to use for users. I love that the company is always improving the software and values feedback. Our account manager is always helpful. I manage payroll and Paylocity makes it very easy to complete and I love how there are so many things that integrate with the system. For instance, our 401(k) provider connects, as well as the benefits module.
Desvantagens:
The reporting is not very user-friendly for what we use it for, especially expense reports. But overall they are always making improvements and asking for feedback, which makes me hopeful that the reports will improve more.

Good HR and Payroll System
Comentários: Overall, we are happy with Paylocity; however, there are a few things, like I mentioned earlier that seem a little behind the times.
Vantagens:
I find the reporting feature to be robust because the reports available contain all of the information I need to report on. E.G., Date of Hire, Supervisor name, employee list, payroll data.
Desvantagens:
The paid time off balance information really needs to improve. Currently, employees don't see any accrued or used PTO until the next payperiod (semi-monthly). Employees would like to see their balance in real time.

Paylocity has an amazing support team. When I need something, I call and someone is there to help me immediately. I never have to wait on hold or for a call back. Very user friendly!
Desvantagens:
The implementation was rough, that was three years ago, so maybe things have changed, but I was over promised and underdeliverd. The sales team needs to work better to truly understand all the things the systems can and can't do
Paylocity Review
Comentários: Overall, I love Paylocity. I implemented Paylocity at my old employer and when I switched job, I implemented the new employer to Paylocity too.
Vantagens:
The best part of this software is how user friendly it is. I also really like the customer service. Having my own designated representative is very important to me and saves a lot of time. We utilize a lot of the features of this software and really don't have any complaints. Whenever there is something that needs improvement, you can request an enhancement and the team will look into fixing it.
Desvantagens:
I wish there was the ability to quickly calculate time off balances on the employee screen while including approved PTO requests in the future. There are a few things in the performance dashboard that I didn't love, however I am hoping to get these resolved before next year with help from the Paylocity team.
Paylocity is great!
Comentários: Overall, we are very pleased with Paylocity. We've tried all the big ones (ADP, Paychex, etc) but have never had great experiences with those companies. Paylocity takes care of our every payroll need and reports tax information to the government accurately and timely on our behalf.
Vantagens:
Paylocity makes processing payroll easy. I process payroll for 6 entities and Paylocity makes this an easy task by allowing data imports from POS systems for some locations and time & labor tracking within Paylocity for others. Additionally, all onboarding is done within Paylocity so no need for paperwork or saving employee legal documents outside of Paylocity.
Desvantagens:
Sometime customer service can be hard to reach for questions but they do eventually get back to you with resources.

Paylocity makes HR processes painless
Comentários: The integration of their modules make it easy to track employee participation and completion. I love having a digital record of all HR processes - compensation, performance reviews, training, tax documents, etc. Less paper in the employee file. The information is readily available to associate's who are able to ask relevant questions to HR.
Vantagens:
I love the suite of integrated platforms. The work flow from Applicant Tracking to Hiring to Web Benefits. It all fits together and makes daily tasks so much easier.
Desvantagens:
It was a challenge to get the COBRA file information flowing to the carriers from Web Benefits. It is difficult to make a change to submitted time off requests. The entire entry must be deleted instead of allowing for modifications.
Great for small to mid-size US organizations.
Comentários: We did not have a good experience with Paylocity. While the customer service was good, the product is not good for international employers. Reporting was never right, because the data they put in from implementation was entered incorrectly and we could never get it fixed after that.
Vantagens:
Paylocity was very user friendly and pretty much plug and play after implementation.
Desvantagens:
Paylocity is not a good tool if you have people in multiple countries, because each company is set up like a different company and they don't necessairly talk to one another.
So many functions - so many complications
Comentários: The customer service team is on call all the time. The trainings are super helpful and they really want to help you. They did everything they could that their system allowed for and the tried their hardest to help transfer and transition as much data as possible. Not everything updated during the last update and we had to manually a lot of profile and payroll issues because of this. Because of how amazing their support team is, they get a lot more stars. Also, there's so many functions, I haven't even used them all!
Vantagens:
Paylocity is really amazing. I love the community/engagement section. I love that there is so much data you won't even know what to do with it. I love that the historical information you put in actually has a purpose beyond storage. Information is analyzed internally by the system and gives you insights. The LMS system provided has so many great trainings not just as an admin, employee, or supervisor using the actual software, but also for other types of leadership and soft skill training too! Onboarding is AMAZING. You can track every little thing, include every document needed, it walks the admin and the employee step by step so you can't miss a thing and you can assign tasks to people in the company!
Desvantagens:
l know I said I love this software but by jove, it also drives me CRAZY how hard it is to navigate and how some functions that our Paylocity support team has let us know many people complained about and that they are "working on the feature". Offboarding is a NIGHTMARE. Everything I listed about onboarding, not a single feature is available when an employee separates. IPP goals don't let you list team goals! Only individual and department and cross functional collaborate goals. UGH. You have to go into settings and configure your workflows all the time! WHY! The dashboard is TOO confusing for some people-this is NOT technologically inept friendly at all. You cannot change your view to the employee view to see what they are having issues with unlike our last HRIS system. This is very very frustrating because I can only navigate and let the employees know where to do and provide resources but not see what they are seeing and work from the back end for them. A lot of their data insights are worthless when you transition. It's literally like starting from scratch. Even if you have tons of history from your old system, they don't translate and you have to wait 3-6 months before you can start taking advantage.

Comentários: I found HR & Payroll so unbelievably easy to use that we soon added the user friendly Time & Attendance module, later, the Expenses. We delayed adding Expenses because they did not yet have the Proxy setup. As soon as they got that going, which decreased the time we spent on expenses reimbursements by more than two thirds. When Covid shut our office down last March, I was so glad I was already established with Paylocity and had already begun to look into more features. We were able to quickly add Onboarding, Performance Management, and Benefits Enterprise, so we transitioned pretty seamlessly to a remote working. Impressions are a big hit with all of our employees. Great way to hand out kudos.
Vantagens:
The thing I love most about Paylocity is having all the various modules that make my work life easier. We transitioned our payroll to Paylocity in 2015 because our service at the time did not have ACA compliance capability. The ACA compliance was the most important feature, and it continues to be something I rely on. We have since added many other features, all of which solve our business needs.
Desvantagens:
The one complaint I have about Paylocity is that I cannot impersonate a user. I don't know what users see on their screens and that makes it difficult for me to walk them through any processes, especially now that I cannot just walk over to their desk.

Comentários: Overall, it's great to have everything in one place and to have the different modules interact with each other. Much easier than previous products we've used!
Vantagens:
I love the idea of having almost all of the aspects of my job in one place! For the most part, the software is easy to use. The Impressions in the Self-Service section is used by our staff for our annual awards, as well as, a way to say good things about your co-workers. Paylocity ROCKS!!!
Desvantagens:
Onboarding can be a bit difficult to use. I had to send the link 3 times for our last new employee because it wouldn't let her in. It's not as instinctual as I'd like.

Time and Efficiency Savers:
1)We were able to go from a paper based evaluation process to an electronic based process with Paylocity.
2) We we able to go from a paper expense report to an electronic based process where the expense flowed automatically from employee to supervisor to their paycheck.
3) ACA reporting is handled by Paylocity.
4) Benefits Open Enrollment is now electronic with Paylocity. The employee elections, changes, deletions, all flow from HR directly to the carriers. No more having to log-in to various carrier portals to make these changes.
5) File feeds are big time saver.
6) We saved money on employee training courses by using the training courses offer by Paylocity.
7) Paylocity offers many compliance dashboards that saves time and money as it flags errors in real time.
Vantagens:
1) You have a dedicated Account Manager. 2) I have worked with a few payroll companies during my HR tenure and Paylocity by far is the best product on the market. It is so user friendly. Employees love it because it is easy to use, it has a mobile app, and anything they need related to payroll and benefits is in one place. 3) Transferring from our old payroll company to Paylocity was an easy transition. Paylocity provides you with a dedicate account manager for payroll and time entry. The do all the work. 4) Compliance with Paylocity cannot get an easier. There are Compliance Dashboards, ACA Reporting Dashboards, Year End Reporting Dashboards. Everything is configured in the system and ready for your review in each of the Dashbaords. 5) Paylocity has the most user friendly Reporting feature I've seen in any product. Lots of standard reports. Easy to use custom reporting featuring. 6) Lots of module that you add as you need, Perf Mgmt, Expenses, Recruting, On-Boarding, to name a few. 7) Performance Mgmt module is so easy to set and customize to your needs. Employees loved using it. It includes a Journal feature that the managers can keep notes throughout the year.
Desvantagens:
No Cons. I've used other payroll companies in the past, Paylocity far exceeds all of them.

Fantastic all in one
Comentários: Overall, now that everything is set up and correct, we couldn't be happier with the system. It does everything we need, plus some, and it's an all in one portal instead of having to log into 5 or 6 different systems all the time. The employees love it also since they can access everything they need in one place as well.
Vantagens:
This combines several different services together in one place. Recruiting, HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and even benefit admin are all in one system. Using one database for all of these systems, there is no repeat of data entry, which lowers the opportunity for mistakes dramatically. The employees have access to their own profile and can make changes and view their paystubs and tax documents at their leisure. Getting rid of the multiple different service providers saved us a bunch of money at the same time.
Desvantagens:
Implementation of a new system always has its issues, but the implementation team for our job seemed a little inept. There were several mistakes made that took quite a bit of time (both my team's and their's) to fix.
Paylocity is an agravating time clock and needs serious help and upgrading to actually be user friendly.
Comentários: This tedious piece of tech has caused me a ridiculous amount of frustration just trying to accomplish a SIMPLE task that should barely be given thought during the working day. The whole point, I thought, was to make the experience seamless and help productivity. I am highly annoyed that my company chose Paylocity over the system we had previously, which I never gave a second thought, and mind you, can't recall the name of because it WAS THAT EFFICIENT. I am not the only person at my company who had had to make due with this sub par program. It needs serious work to make it actually function, and is not worth whatever my company paid for it.
Vantagens:
I am not a fan of Paylocity at all, to be frank. I am an employee who has to use this unfortunate piece of software, and on my end...it's a hair pulling fest more often than not.
Desvantagens:
1. The fact that I have to SIGN in and then PUNCH in. If I had to do it only ONCE a day, it would be less of a bear. But I have to clock in and out four times. There is no idle clock timer or somesuch that can even be reset, so I have to slog through this redundant system four times every day. I love how going to "sign in" for my lunch break, that it has to sign me out first. ?? That's maddening. 2. How Paylocity loves to forget that I'm only on ONE device every week or two. There's nothing like trying to clock in and spending two minutes having to answer a security question while it spins its wheels. This is NOT efficient, and agravating. Other employees at my company have endured the same slovenly programmed issue. 3. It's finicky as all get out when trying to put in for time off. You can't fill in certain fields, or it will hiccup. You also can't put in for several days in a row because of the same, so of course, there's the tedious process of entering EVERY day you need separately. And, a simple mouse click and Paylocity's whim can even deny you a day off, which you then have to question your manager about, who admits it was the software. AGAIN. 4. Loading time. Again, I love going to clock in on time or early and have Paylocity play games such as taking it's sweet time to load the screen, or populate the field with my password so I can properly log in on top of everything else I have mentioned. Because I have a ludicrous amount of passwords I need to type in for my job already, the last thing I need is to have to remember ONE MORE.
