No real Issues with ECP its self. I sometimes have to wait awhile for Pharmacy to upload changes to medications.

Best web-based software for assisted living communities!
Comentários: My overall experience with ECP has been great. Our staff enjoys all of the features available to chart effectively and spend more times with our residents and not centered around a computer screen.
Vantagens:
What I love most about ECP is being introduced to top leaders in the industry that developed a charting system that allows our staff to engage with our residents more within the community.
Desvantagens:
What I least enjoy about ECP was them not introducing themselves sooner. ECP has allowed our staff the ability to engage more with the residents and their families within the community.

Comentários: Very Good!
Vantagens:
Very user friendly for staff to use and its used across the fox valley so many caregivers are familiar with the program. Also, the customer service staff are AMAZING, they are always kind, helpful, patient, and have excellent follow up.
Desvantagens:
For follow ups such as patches, Somehow make a follow up that can immediately ask them if they removed the previous patch. I am currently only able to do it 5 minutes later and we have to enter a separate patch removal as a treatment. Staff often forget to remove the old ones if we are not doing this. One other suggestion I'd like to put out there is I wish we could select certain parts of the ISP for the "active cares" that we want to for a quick reference for our staff. Even though it is a shortened version, it still is not efficient for us. Our hopes was the active cares would be similar to a form you'd see printed off in nursing homes on patients doors with instructions for CNA's. We have a few different forms we use like this internally but it would be amazing to have something be made from the ISP so your not re doing the work in two different area's. Currently we use a separate form which has the following areas listed on one page. These are the main topics with a few examples: Mental Status (example-alert/oriented) -Speech (example-difficult to understand)-Mobility Assistance(example-Wheelchair)- Transfer Assistance-Grooming Assistance-Special Equipment- Eyesight/Hearing- Medical Monitoring- Paralysis-Skin-Bathing Assistance-Oral Care-Dressing- Eating Assistance- Toileting Assistance-Night Services- Behaviors/Safety- Medications- Activities- Advanced Directives- Appointments- Housekeeping- Other Services - Evacuation Capability in Emergency.
A Bargain Product
Comentários: It is ok, but a more robust program with more intuitive charting would be better. It is hard to locate information or find the correct place to document in some cases.
Vantagens:
It is easy to set up users. Other features are ok
Desvantagens:
It is not as robust as other products I've used.

ECP implementation impact, easy, integration
Comentários: ECP staff have been incredibly helpful, from sales to help desk, billing, and pharmacy support.
Vantagens:
Daily task lists and easily customized care plans allow for simple and effective charting and tracking of facility duties. It is some work to get set up, but ECP has great support staff to aid in the process. Charting is very simple and easy to follow. Pharmacy integration eases order processing, verifying orders and changes.
Desvantagens:
Reordering medication requires review before being submitted to pharmacy

Perfect Software
Comentários: ECP has almost eliminated the need to store paper files for residents, compliance, and even employee files.
Vantagens:
ECP's overall function is easy to navigate, even for someone that may not have the best computer skills. Charting, compliance, and internal notes just for staff communication are top-notch.
Desvantagens:
I feel ECP is missing a calendar tab. A Calendar tab where management could enter appointments and events that would prompt staff.

Comentários: Overall I have had all good experiences with ECP. It has made my world as Administrator much easier. The ECP team when you call the office are nothing but friendly and will work to help you solve your issues. I never feel rushed and to me that is important to learn things slowly
Vantagens:
I come from old school where everything was hand written and kept in resident charts. This is so much easier and neater, easy to find history on anything I am looking for without having to dig through years of files. I am able to monitor how the residents are daily, I can monitor medication passes to make sure things are being done.
Desvantagens:
There is really nothing that I dont like, I just think there is so much I dont understand and could really use some training on things to better utilize all areas. One area I would really like to learn is using ECP for ISP's. Right now i had write all of them

User friendly and customizable.
Comentários: We use ECP for our EHR, our EMAR and most of our clinical applications across our 11 large Assisted Living/Memory Care communities. They are so good to work with and their customer support is extraordinary. I email about once a month over something or other which is usually an upgrade in the software.
Vantagens:
I like that I can customize assessments for the team. ECP offers assessments for most states that are state required (like in Utah) for Assisted Living. Most of the team can teach themselves the software really easily. It is very user friendly.
Desvantagens:
Every software has it's limitations and there are a few things that are a little wonky with ECP. I wish there was a way in the assessment that you could say if you select yes to an option, it opens up more of an assessment but if you say no it doesn't show up. Its a small thing. I anticipate this is an option ECP would develop someday. However, ECP is so good to work with that if this was something that was absolutely needed, they would make it happen.

Comentários: ECP was very easy to set up and start using in the facility I enjoy using ECP.
Vantagens:
I like the medication inventory which is very easy for staff to use. I also like the convenience of being able to look over multiple residents charts and information from my desk and not having to get up and grab multiple charts to clutter my desk.
Desvantagens:
There are very few if any flaws at all, if something does arise I am able to contact customer support and resolve the issue right away.

This product is very easy to use! Everything can be added into this program and makes it very easy to stay organized! The company is always willing to make something work to best suit our facility!
Desvantagens:
The care plan was a little difficult to navigate at first but I think the quirks have been worked out!

Lots of little features that add to big savings.
Comentários: I have used ECP with 3 employers now over my 20+ years in assisted livings. It has an easier set up, ability to make instant changes, and the support team is very responsive.
Vantagens:
Ease of setting up charting and tracking compliance.
Desvantagens:
Inability to change types of incidents or add questions to incident reports and investigations.

RN perspective on ECP
Comentários: Workers are doing a better job of charting and there are fewer med errors than with paper.
Vantagens:
It is super easy to learn, you don't have to go through a pile of pages to get to a client, very easy to enter info and print needed info for appts!
Desvantagens:
The app is not as user friendly as the PC program.

Comentários: I would Highly recommend, this website is easy to use and all of you employees will love how easy it is to access resident’s information about how to go about cares, if the resident has specifics on what they like and don’t like. How to properly provide care for the resident.

I love how it is easy to navigate, and everything is right in arms reach. I love that it’s all on one site and it doesn’t take you to a different website just to document about you day with residents.

I do not have any cons about this software.

The ECP system makes my job much easier and my employees find it easy to understand.

How easy it was to learn and understand the system. When we did have an issue the help desk was right there to get us up and running.

I have found no issues with this system.

I love the ease of use. Orders enter the system, you click, review and save. Its that simple. Passing meds is set up by time.

User Friendly and streamlined
Comentários: Initiating the software was so easy. A representative met with me weekly to discuss progress and the needs of staff and the company.
Vantagens:
Their customer support representatives are knowledgeable and friendly. I have never waited more than an hour to resolve a problem.
Desvantagens:
It doesn't have all of the functions that I look for, but it is a great program

Comprehensive and easy to use!!
Vantagens:
This product is very user friendly, even if you've never been in the healthcare industry. It is great to be able to see quickly who passed meds when needed. The system does med counts for you and even reorders the scripts and they get delivered straight to you.Their customer service is top notch, they will talk you through anything you need help with.
Desvantagens:
I didn't get trained enough from my organization so it took some time to work out the kinks. I don't care for the fact that other people have access to the same info, it can be removed easily by someone else.

Cost effective easy to use software
Comentários: A cost effective and easy to use software. Our CNA staff love how easy it is to do their documenting. The Recent Notes feature is awesome for good communication.

How easy it is to use and the video' s for training staff.
