Launching and Running a Medical Aesthetics Practice with Aesthetics Pro

Comentários: I am extremely pleased with this remarkably comprehensive software - since it helps manage the medical, financial and marketing aspects of the practice. I purchased this software before launching a startup, and Aesthetics Pro has facilitated smooth operation in almost all facets of the practice. The EMR forms and templates have easily edited text and graphics. The side-by-side photo gallery, which can marked, is also simple to use; the staff spends comparatively little time creating comprehensive medical records. Clients can access discharge instructions from the client portal, or we can email them easily if left behind. We will take advantage of online booking and in-application messaging as we grow. But what really separates Aesthetics Pro from other EHRs is the seamless integration of marketing efforts and lead tracking. The increased efficiency (reduced staff time on redundant data entry) using a program that merges marketing software with EHR software. The lead list database in Aesthetics Pro has been crucial to our growth and success – converting a lead to client takes one click. Besides being able to send email blasts within the EMR, we can monitor the effectiveness of of all of our marketing campaigns – from print to digital to meet-and-greets. We’re also now able to track our referring clients, so we know those who like recommending us to others. Aesthetics Pro’s inventory tracking is also invaluable. Highest praise for this well-crafted, robust software.

Vantagens:

Tracks, manages and markets to new leads- including email blasts & touchpoints Excellent EMR Inventory tracking Tracks efficacy of our marketing efforts to determine ROI Metric reports are simple to generate Tracks patient referrals and marketing effort effectiveness via rewards tracking Dashboard tracks patient balances and services remaining in packages easily Easy to create pop up notes for informal communication re: patient Option to fully integrate the website and the practice management software Frequently adds new features to augment quality of patient care and marketing Scheduling by staff member, room and device helps avoid scheduling errors

Desvantagens:

The patient's allergies list/profile does not appear in the patient's dashboard, and does not pop up in any way while writing the patients' medical notes. Same for emergency medical contact. The training information comes only video format, so its difficult to look up the answer to specific 'how to' questions after the videos have been viewed. Fortunately, the support staff is extremely prompt responding to both basic and complex queries via an in-application communication system - so these questions are quickly answered. The way the consent and discharge forms are currently structured, we can alter existing forms, but cannot create or add new ones.

Excellent Affordable EMR for MedSpa

Vantagens:

The software is totally customizable to fit anyone’s personal brand colors, logo, pricing systems, scheduling format, membership program, invoicing and accurate tracking of transactions, etc.

Desvantagens:

Just a lack of options for integrated payment softwares.

Comentários: Professional, customer centric, and strives to add new features to provide more value and benefit to their customers.

Vantagens:

It is well thought out to support a busy Aesthetic medical practice. The videos for customizing the system are super helpful to get the most out of the comprehensive features. Customer support is responsive and informative to provide solutions that I couldn't navigate on my own.

Desvantagens:

The connection to credit card processing Clover device hasn't worked as reliably as I would like so I have to use the terminal directly or Virtual Terminal on Gravity Payments. I have had a few times when AP system went down all together with a full patient schedule and had to make do until the system came back up. Unable to get individual patient records in a simple download if and when I retire.

Great Program for my Medspa

Comentários: I started with AP 5 years ago when I first opened my practice. Left for one month and came right back. It does what I need.

Vantagens:

It is easy to use. Reports are good and scheduler works well.

Desvantagens:

Glitches at times. Having a direct line for support would be helpful. I dont like always having to go through email. Though response times have gotten better.

Comentários: It has been very pleasant so far and loving the connection from [sensitive content hidden] and the rest of the team when I have a question or a problem. It is definitely better than our old booking system which was Booker. I like how it tracks everything as well.

Vantagens:

I really like the layout and all the functions that Aesthetics Pro has to offer. I am very please with our rep [sensitive content hidden] as she has always been there for me when I need her and checks up on me as well. She is very helpful and super nice to work with.

Desvantagens:

I am still learning they system. One thing I don't really care for is the deposits. I am still learning how to do it and it seems like a few steps I need to take, but then again I haven't messed with it much. I don't like how the credit card system is not capable to our wifi and I have to go in manually and input the information in and from what I am hearing I need to hard wire it, but it looks like it is hardwire already from what our tech tells us so not sure how to bypass that. It also takes a long time for the machine to take a payment and then I have to go into our IQ account to make sure that the payment was taken.

Can’t 2 way text this would be a great addition - look at Textline as a model. You could just pass the name and phone number.

Not impressed . Their updates are not an improvement . They don’t fix issues or get recommendations when making updates .

Comentários: Since 2015, we have collaborated with them, and I've had experience with their program since 2007, managing at various MedSpas. Despite our long-standing relationship, they consistently fail to heed feedback from users. Numerous simple fixes go unaddressed, and their mobile app has deteriorated, especially after the long-anticipated "update." For over a decade, I've been paying more than $70 more than their highest listed price for their service. It's astonishing how our company's input is so callously overlooked.

Vantagens:

Simple booking system. Medspa specific , easy to learn , drag and drop options . Easy to ring in packages .

Desvantagens:

1. They don’t make improvements that are beneficial for a practice , they make good touch points to sound better to prospective clients . 2. Most recent update is horrible 3. Reports are limited . No way to measure important data to run the business more efficiently . 4. The program doesn’t easily integrate with other industry tools … ie Facebook , What converts etc…… 5. Cannot do any admin tasks from the mobile since most recent update . 6. Appt reminder text message is too small for anyone to read . Cannot customize the message and reminders are not consistent / customers complain they don’t receive them . 8. Limited customization to the programs aesthetic. Ugly colors , hard to read the booking calendar . 9. They don’t work with you to make improvements . Their update fixed ZERO of our issues we have been calling to their attention for years ! 10. Client invoices are now two pages when you print them . 11. Your FEEDBACK is ignored !

Comentários: Amazing customer service And amazing manager that helped me to go through all the details that I was looking for. Was patient and kind while working with me, I left the meeting looking forward to working with AestheticsPro in the future. All of my questions are always responded or resolved in a timely manner.

Vantagens:

Easy E record, Text marketing, cost effective, very good communication. All of my support tickets have a quick resolution and I do not feel rushed while asking questions to the support team which is really important to me

Desvantagens:

Nothing , the service rep was the best part of the experience making the appointment efficient and very informative.

Comentários: Today's training session was great. Having the training sessions recorded is necessary because there is a lot of information. I think it is best for the trainers to make some changes as they walk you through the process and leave the changes that you approve.

Vantagens:

[sensitive content hidden] was very helping setting up certain items. He did not just make suggestions and undo them. He asked if I'd like to make changes and he did them as we moved through the training. Therefore, I did not have to waste time returning and making those changes.

Desvantagens:

There were no cons with [sensitive content hidden] I do not like having different people walking me through the training sessions. But in this case, it worked out well because the second trainer was better than the first in my opinion.

Wickedly bad company with AWFUL customer service

Comentários: Very unhappy -see above- but unable to change because I cannot transfer the data.
It is remarkably cumbersome, needing excessive clicks. For instance, when an appointment form comes up, why not automatically have the cursor in the name space? When checking out, when you have to click at the left, why does one have to click the words, why not the entire bar including the word?

Vantagens:

I admire their ability NOT TO FIX flaws by saying" that is a very good observation, we will send your suggestion to the technical folk". ANd NOTHING HAPPENS-and no follow up with me as to why.

Desvantagens:

Yearly price increases. The teaching seminars-done by somebody talking so fast it is uncomprehensible. When I brought that to the attention of Aesthetics pro I was told," yes, we hear that all the time". So I tried another webinar, NO CHANGE! it sounds like babble still!

Not my cup of tea

Comentários: I stopped using the year-long subscription after 4 months, and I would get a call periodically asking me how I liked the program. I didn't think Aesthetic Pro had my best interests in mind.

Vantagens:

I thought it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Desvantagens:

The IT staff made me feel stupid. I ended up using all of the templates that I created. It was cumbersome to use. In the end, I paid someone to use my own templates and since I uploaded them, now anyone can use them.
