Comentários: Our company has been using the Web Edition of Maintimizer for several years. Our experience has been very positive. So positive we rolled out the system to all of our PA and NY operations. The system has improved our operations up-time by 10% on average. The asset tracking has helped us make smarter decisions on replacing equipment. Our maintenance mangers use the system every day for tracking work orders, purchase orders and preventive maintenance. Hands down purchasing Maintimizer has been one of the best decisions we have made in software over the last 10 years. The ASHCOM support staff are great to work with. We have not needed much support but when we did the team at ASHCOM worked though the challenge and helped resolve the issue.
Why did I choose Maintimizer over the other systems available? Because I liked the format of the system and the dash board was simple and user friendly. Any PC skill level can understand and use the system.
If you are a company looking for a simple and accurate computerized maintenance management system, then Maintimizer is a smart investment.

Report Query are a little hard to understand. I wish project tracking had more functionality.

Very long term

Comentários: I have been using maintimizer since 1999 , I would be your best salesman as I have been using maintimizer for 17yrs (used a competitor product for a time but actually came backto maintimizer which should speak volumes on how good the maintenence tracking and inventory etc. Is )

Vantagens:

Hard to pick what part I like the best, but I would say its completeness it seems that most of anything has been thought of and it's easy to use

Desvantagens:

Have a limited number of logins for my compan ( this is understood and agreed )my point is that I have a PC which would be my seat I also have two tablets I am the same person logged into doth so that counts as 2, I believe wholeheartedly this should be counted as one seat that I am only using one person this seat, but I understand it is a small point

ITS HAS SOME OPTIONS THAT ARE EASY TO USE/ TRAIN ON.

Desvantagens:

SEEMS TO HAVE A LOT OF BUGS AFTER UPDATES FEATURES DON'T WORK CORRECTLY WHEN THEY DID BEFORE. SOME FEATURES JUST DON'T WORK AT ALL! LOW STOCK REPORT IS NOT CAPTURING ITEMS NOT ON ORDER WHEN IT SHOULD. ABC REPORT DOES NOT OFFER ENOUGH OPTIONS AND WE HAVE TO PAY FOR A CUSTOM REPORT THE COST FOR CUSTOM REPORTS IS VERY HIGH AND THEN TOLD WE WOULD ONLY GET REPORT WHEN THE NEXT RELEASE COMES UP.

The program that every company must have

Vantagens:

It is very effective in regard to summarize the costs of assets to carry out a record for each unit. It also measures the effectiveness of each individual employee. With regard to the inventory, I like very much because it is carried out in actual inventory. Personally, I work in the following way. The employee has your mailbox where you leave the work order assigned to the employee recognizes the work to run it. When the job is drafted by the parties on the same sheet and closes in the program leaving in record expenses for work and the deduction of parts.

Desvantagens:

On rare occasions the server slow.If you are going to print a work order should mark that order has already been printed for your compliance as soon as lead and not print record repeated.

Easy to use

Comentários: Our experience with the software has been fantastic, a lot of that was because of the training we received and the support we got from MaintiMizer during the start up and in the first month of use.

Vantagens:

Training and follow up support, were two of the keys to our successful use of the product. We had the trainer come on site for several days and he worked with all of the users to get them comfortable with the software. This resulted in acceptance by everyone. The product allowed the various crews on different schedules to make and leave notes on the status of various tasks and repairs being made on different pieces of equipment. We are a 24/7 facility so the ability to allow cross shift communication and the ability to allow everyone to see the status of a repair has been very valuable.

Desvantagens:

The only problem we found is that we could not link MaintiMizer in with our lock out tag out program.

Comentários: The product works and is reliable. It just seems to take our primary user more time than it should to do daily tasks.

Vantagens:

We migrated from the Maintimizer on-premises version to the cloud version and are very happy with the administration and availability of the product.

Desvantagens:

The product seems cumbersome. We have lots of parts and processes and it would be nice if there was a way to tag parts as "favorites" for items we use a lot. This would move those items to a filtered dispaly. Also when performing frequent tasks, if the user could setup an express version with default answers to certain fields. These fields would be defined by the user with the default response.

Simple system, customer service is good. Does what most people look for in a system.

Vantagens:

In my career, I've used everything from big budget CMMS software to homemade Access-based systems. This software does what most people require from a CMMS system at a reasonable price. Service and communication from Ashcom are excellent.

Desvantagens:

Some features of the software are a little difficult to use or require a few extra steps to complete, such as work order assignment. Some things that you only use on occasion are hard to find.

Vantagens:

has many options like keeping time, cost center, parts lists, parts orders, communicating, preventative maintenance.

Desvantagens:

only works in industry is everyone utilizes it. if your administrator doesn't allow certain options, its kind of pointless. if no one else is using it to communicate, then you're not using to it to its full potential. don't think only one person and use it and that's fine, unless you work by yourself

good tracking and reminder system.

Comentários: for this whole 2 years experience with maintimizer software, i find it is value for money versus before, we having a lot of spare part tracking issue example where does the part went to and untraceable machine history to help us defining machine capability. Now we are just following the PM being set earlier and resolving high occurrence machine issue, i seem our machine monthly breakdown record had drop to half comparing to passed.

Vantagens:

The scheduled PM work order generation.

Desvantagens:

difficult to grouping the passed PM and work order, it will be great is all the data can be form out a report and list or graph so we able to do analysis discussion easily.

Cheapest out there but dated

Vantagens:

It does the basics for dirt cheap, and I mean 5% of what you'd pay elsewhere. It offers mobile and purchase-order options within the program itself.

Desvantagens:

Not based on API's, not scalable, clunky. Feels like you're back to WindowsVista or earlier era software. Any customization costs whereas most modern programs are highly customizable by the admin.

Maintimizer Needs Better Flow

I like the equipment layout section and the ability to make my own queries.

Desvantagens:

There are quite a few features I am not impressed with namely the untying of rooms, areas from the system as it is not possible. Having to click through 8 different pages to navigate a PM or a WO doesn't really make much sense as there are a lot of systems where this is contained on one page. Very difficult to navigate through. If you mistakenly delte a PM batch without printing the batch it won't let you reprint the PM's. Sometimes when you generate PM's by equipment number it does not kick out all of the PM's and you have to do it by assigned employee. Unfortunately, the support team has not been able to help with these issues.

Comentários: Overall experience is good, worth the money paid for it.

Vantagens:

Dashboard is something unique I would say. Not many application software are equipped with detailed dashboard where one can get all required information in one single click. easy to use and have options to extend its features

Desvantagens:

Does not allow multiple windows at one time, could be possible in other versions but the one I have doesnt support multiple windows to one user. extract report could be made much more easier and compatible with other applications.

Easy access by other users on our internal Ethernet network. Using VPN works well if your connection is solid.

Desvantagens:

PM Task is hard to understand, we developed equipment numbers that are call tasks, best way to track for us. Struggling to find it to reschedule or generate each top of the month.

For the most part the software does what it is intended to do.

Easy to use for guest users. Information is readily accessible. Quick comprehension of website by department staff .

Desvantagens:

I have issues with the reporting process, very cumbersome and I am not able to get the required information as needed. Also sometimes the website will stall.

A lot of data entry to get started, but well worth it.

Comentários: Data recording of maintenance and repairs. Tracking of repair parts used and where used. Easy re-ordering of used parts.

Vantagens:

The software is very detail oriented. It tracks employees, parts, and equipment. Very helpful support staff.

Desvantagens:

You're not able to attach pictures to SOP's. You can attach them to printout with, but not on, the SOP.

I don't use it much but when I do its very user friendly

Vantagens:

Easy to navigate through screens, user friendly for the most part. Can easily find what I need without too much effort.

Desvantagens:

Depending on what I am doing, its sometimes hard to find the clock #'s I need to enter the hours for employees, I don't have their clock # only their name so I have to scroll through ALL employees to find the correct one.

Comentários: Able to keep up on all our maintenance on equipment.

Vantagens:

The thing I like most about this software is that we are able to label all our equipment by area. It's very helpful when printing out the PM work orders for the week.

Desvantagens:

The biggest flaw I find in this software is that at time the menus can be very difficult to navigate.

We're setting up the system for our Company. Amazed at how much information the system can hold.

Vantagens:

This software is going to be great for tracking and assigning PMs and work orders. Tracking repairs on equipment to note repetitious repairs. Adding in total repair costs of equipment to justify replacements or major overhauls of equipment.

Desvantagens:

In starting from scratch, there is a lot of data entry required. Although customer service is a great help at uploading information, there is a lot of work on our end too.

Nice system for basic maintenance organizations

Comentários: MaintiMizer is an overall good system. Allows for parts tracking, POR and Purchase Orders, Time tracking, and more. It does however rely heavily on user input and does not have a lot of automation needed in more robust, predictive environments.

Vantagens:

Customizable dashboard, parts rooms and the ability to connect inventory to work orders

Desvantagens:

Customization and expanding capabilities is limited and expensive. Feels like an old system.
