Vantagens:

According to me the most strong point of Acumatica Cloud ERP is its Warehouse management and its integration with other systems like inventory and purchasing systems.

Desvantagens:

The integrator we selected was highly rated by Acumatica, but we felt was weak and we struggled in our implementation. Our implementation was late and over budget.

Comentários: Acumatica has brought all the areas of our business together in one software which is allowing for an improved business decision making process.

Vantagens:

The integration of business functions are the most useful components of Acumatica, bringing our finance and project management functions together. The software is easy to implement when working with a Acumatica Partner on the implementation process. To date all features we require have been found in Acumatica other than Payroll which is going live in Q4 2023.

Desvantagens:

In order to be able to provide the robust reporting and project tracking features it is important to enter information very accurately, the learning curve for new users can be steep.

Comentários: It is a wonderful system, flexible, easy to use, and it is wonderful to have all our data in one place and easy to find, export and analyze.

One platform incorporating all our transactions directly into the accounting and reporting side, easy to use

The fact that the timecards do not have a separate module to close financial periods with but are included in the AP module.

Comentários: Great customisations which removes limitations found on other ERP's

Vantagens:

1.Ability to track projects at plantations per block of plants. It allows management and production team to analyse profitability further by having smaller P&Ls per block. 2. Customisation

Desvantagens:

The default template in the system for inventory does not allow capturing different items issued out of stock on different date so further customisation is required.

Comentários: Acumatica is a good system but the ability to customize it allows us to make it exactly what we need. It took some time to learn how to adapt it to our needs but every day it gets better and better for us.

Vantagens:

We can customize the system in many different ways. Individual users can customize their screen and various reports on their screen. Without coding, we can customize many things, create new fields, etc. This flexibility allows us to make the system suit the way we do business.

Desvantagens:

The price is a bit high for a small business to get started. I want to use some features offered in other modules but they are quite expensive to add those.

Comentários: Mostly positive, it is our inhouse ERP and we install it for other firms. We recieve good feedback from clients.

Vantagens:

Good UI Easy to pick up Cloud based Good manufacturing modules

Doesn't have an auto save feature Sometimes when there is lag, and info has bee inputted the system will wipe the info Still needs more market exposure

Customizable to meet the needs of the HVAC Construction/Service Industry

Comentários: We use Acumatica for Project Managment in construction, which I would say is the strongest part of this ERP platform. Linked to that we use the service module for scheduling service calls with our service technicians. Tied to both of these modules is inventory management and payroll. For the most part it has met the needs of each of these parts of our company.

Vantagens:

Acumatica is fairly simple to learn and is quite customizable to meet the needs of our HVAC construction/service industry.

Desvantagens:

There are still some ways that it needs to improve in how the different modules work together. There are times where it is not that easy to follow the path between modules.

Growing ERP in it's Early Stages

Vantagens:

The ease of use and simplicity of the user interface. Very adaptable platform and has a growing API vendor list.

Desvantagens:

Not as intuitive and lacks a large community database of support. There also aren't enough people trained to build out the architecture and a large dependence on 3rd party implementation/support.

Best Modern Cloud ERP

Vantagens:

Actively listening to users, addressing common complaints or gaps in the product every single release. Licensing isn't per user. Useful, easy automation tools to streamline our order -> invoice process. Active community site.

Desvantagens:

Release note system could use an overhaul- would like it to be easier to track changes, bug fixes, and known issues between releases.

Comentários: for system slowness issue, the only solution is to upgrade the servers.

Vantagens:

value for money and recommendable. Since this is unlimited users, we were able to give access to all our 1000+ employees and all of them use this application for their daily transactions.

Desvantagens:

the user license is not per user. it allows all our employees to have access on it.

Comentários: The system was oversold and our management team is now suggesting we shift to a more prominent brand.

Vantagens:

Having a native cloud based software is an advantage.

Desvantagens:

CRM is terrible and requires significant user input to generate important data. Manufacturing module is sold as robust but lacks several key features. Software requires significant "customization" to be impactful, user must verify that "customization" still works after every upgrade which is time consuming. Service Support module seems new and has required significant time to implement.

A Modern ERP Software to Facilitate Running Business YOUR Way

Comentários: As a developer, the learning curve was a little tough. As an end user, the free training material made it pretty easy to get up to speed on each functional area. Once we found a configuration that worked for us and got some experience and connections in the community, we have been able to create new screens and features that we could only dream of on our legacy system.

Vantagens:

What can't be configured can be customized to add new functionality or just adjust core functionality. This allows us to mold the ERP software around our business in contrast to so many other software solutions.

Desvantagens:

I really want a slice of inventory by valuation type. We use a suffix on our locations to get to where we need to be, but I'd like to be able to specify a single location for new, repair, broken, and any other classification we may want to make for a part and identify that the specific inventory is new, repair, broken, etc. From that, I should be able to pull a simple dashboard of how much inventory I have on hand that is new, repair, broken, etc. without having to use separate warehouses or locations.

The Future of Construction ERP

Comentários: My confidence in Acumatica is so strong that I shifted my career path and became a reseller of Acumatica, focusing on the construction industry. My experience with them has been unparalleled as far as their commitment to the product, the industry, to their resellers, and their customers.

Vantagens:

In addition to Acumatica's robust construction features, the open API, volume of integrated products (and unlimited ability to integrate to any platform), and the strength of features available beyond traditional construction-specialized ERP platforms (eg: automated bank feeds and credit card feeds for automation of bank and credit card reconciliations, native expense management with OCR recognition of receipts, robust manufacturing and distribution features) as well at being true, native, cloud and unlimited users make this the best ERP platform for the construction industry today - and position it to be the leading construction ERP of the future.

Desvantagens:

The only recommendation I would have to construction contractors considering Acumatica is to consider using a third party for field time entry. While Acumatica has this functionality, and it is included in the core licensing, based on my extensive experience in the construction industry, the time entry UI on the mobile app is not as efficient as it is in third-party products that are dedicated to capturing field labor time in the construction industry.

An integrated tool to put all tasks and resources under constant monitoring

Comentários: Because we now have a strong database linked to the cloud, we can carry out our tasks with precision and quality. Our reports are reliable, especially regarding the organization's financial operations and projects, and thus we know the true status of the project, saving us time and allowing us more flexibility.

Vantagens:

Acumatica is a great ERP and project management solution that allows us to track orders and information in the field, as well as add partners and suppliers and provide them with access to specific tools to track their orders and update their data and completion percentages of their activities. Acumatica enhances team collaboration, so one colleague enters data while another colleague gets access to project details that help them complete their task. I love how Acumatica allows us to export data for use in another system and also for audits. Acumatica has enabled us to improve field interaction, simplify operations, and make quick decisions without lengthy meetings. Acumatica enables progress tracking and bottlenecks along the project lifecycle, as well as cross-departmental collaboration to discuss, answer general inquiries, collect data, and automate processes, allowing employees to focus on problem-solving and follow-up tasks more efficiently.

Desvantagens:

Acumatica is simple to use and takes little training for the employees to become comfortable with the tools. I also saw data import and export issues.

Good ERP for Small Business

Comentários: Acumatica has helped our company improve our operations and handle significant growth. We moved from basic Quickbooks functionality to full inventory and manufacturing control. The improved transaction controls have reduced the amount of errors done in normal business processes. We've also been able to engage employees at all levels into our system.

Vantagens:

Ease of use, comprehensive list of features, Report writing and General Inquiry functionality,

Desvantagens:

The worst part of Acumatica is how it handles Email. System email accounts, while not a horrible idea, just don't work well. The worst part of that is how the outgoing emails use the system accounts. Outside contacts end up saving these email addresses instead of the "real" user email. Then when they email us using those email addresses the emails go nowhere. All emails should be sent using the user's real email address, and preferably their email client such as Outlook. Third party VAR modules are harder to coordinate. Upgrades are too frequent and expensive if you do not have your own development staff. Customization requires development capabilities. Should be more user-level customization tools similar to Report Writer and GI screen.

Comentários: to be frank i am disappointed but we feel we are stuck with the product
instead of saving time and personnel we need more time to do the functions

functionality, accessibility option of users CRM -but we could not implement

Desvantagens:

product is not easy to use spending extra times on unnecessary steps-printing document require multiple steps search function not logical report are not easy to generate very rigid to make changes if needed

Okay ERP system if you cannot use Oracle, Netsuite, SAP on Demand

Comentários: I don't like the reliance on VARs to do all the implementation and support. Most VARs are small so they have at best 1-2 staff who really know the application. Seems better for Acumatica to have a central, core group of specialists at Acumatica who can handle technically challenging implemenations and support issues. My VAR struggles on an issue, ends up having to check w other VARs and resources which ends up costing me more time and money.

Vantagens:

we are in cannabis industry, so only options we have at mid tier are Acumatica and Microsoft.

Desvantagens:

I'm thinking of moving over to Microsoft. They seem to put more resources into development, support and the ecosystem.

Convenient Cloud access

Comentários: This has been a great experience. Our previous software was limited to the reporting we could do and the user interface was not very friendly. The menus in Acumatica are intuitive and the search feature is robust and allows for quick access to move between screens.

Vantagens:

That we are able to access it via cloud anywhere. This allows for use remotely without additional software downloads for our external users.

Desvantagens:

We have had to customize several aspects to achieve our daily processes. Our company is unique in how we receive and ship out inventory but do not manufacture items in our facility. Creative solutions were needed to take the standard out of the box reports and make them work for us.

Extremely Capable and Customizable Cloud ERP

Vantagens:

I appreciate Acumatica's intuitive UI, accessibility (all you need is a device with internet), and customizability. As a developer, I've also found the forums and docs to be extremely helpful.

Desvantagens:

Minor quality-of-life things can be a pain when using Acumatica daily. Things like getting logged out after a few minutes of inactivity, inability to change menu layout/sizing on some screens, etc. It's the little stuff that could be improved on.

Acumatica is the best alternative for mid-size businesses

Comentários: Acumatica replaced our legacy system smoothly and we appreciated the benefits of the changes immediately. i looked at several other ERP's from QuickBooks to NetSuite and Acumatica was by far the best alternative

Acumatica is flexible and very reasonably priced. it has many valuable features built in and works well with other applications

Desvantagens:

It takes a lot of expertise to configure Acumatica for a mid-size business. A good partner is critical

What I like about the software is that it allows collaboration among teams with a lot of ease through its cloud based connectivity. This ensures that projects are well executed with a lot of ease.

Desvantagens:

The pricing can be a bit costly for startups but the returns from its use are immense.

Less expensive ERP option with built in CRM

Comentários: We have seen many operational efficiencies and we are starting to retire multiple legacy operational systems-they will all be replaced by Acumatica.

Vantagens:

Acumatica has a built in CRM that helps to integrate the sales and operations process to finance. It's really helpful to have the financials easily available for each sales opportunity.

Desvantagens:

It requires a lot of developer involvement for customization of views, attributes, etc.
