Attention to detail and continuous improvement
Comentários: Since we started using this tool, we have been able to optimize our workflow by simplifying several steps. Our clients particularly appreciate the freedom in data visualization provided by the dashboards and the high level of transparency offered by the tool. With some clients, we have also experimented with hybrid usage modes, involving them in data collection and modeling phases. For some companies that are particularly advanced in this area, this is an innovative way of working, capable of building an even stronger trust relationship with the consultant and a greater sense of involvement in the project. Vantagens:
I greatly appreciate the care with which the product is made. I have been using it for just over a year, and seeing it improve and evolve so rapidly is a testament to the constant dedication put into its development and updates. For our company, it is essential to have software that not only simplifies our work but also meets the demands of a rapidly changing market and regulatory environment. The team at Carbon + Alt + Delete has been extremely responsive to our feedback and requests for clarification, demonstrating deep expertise in GHG inventory standards and offering a range of tools and features designed to make the consultant’s job easier.
Desvantagens:
Some aspects of the front-end might need some minor refinement. There are a few bugs and inconsistencies, especially with the import function. These are minor bugs, likely stemming from the new features and integrations that still need some polishing, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a simple patch. In any case, they do not significantly disrupt the workflow. The scenarios section could be expanded further in terms of functionality, but I believe this would require a fundamental redesign of its logic. For relatively simple and standard scenario evaluations, it works well, but as it stands, it is extremely cumbersome to model granular variations at the level of individual activity data and/or emission factors. It would be beneficial to define potential evolutionary scenarios directly during the inventory phase, both for activity data and emission factors. Otherwise, Excel remains the best option for analyses at this level.
Great solution for consultants
Comentários: So far have really enjoyed using CAD, and definitely has made our jobs much easier. It's also great that we are able to help upskill our clients and empower them to be able to complete their own calculations.
Vantagens:
CAD is very intuitive, and super easy to use. It also has a good variety of EFs available to use. The team are super helpful and support is quick to answer any questions. In addition, they are very open to suggestions and since starting on CAD, it has developed so much, adding in new features, with many new features already in the pipeline.
Desvantagens:
It is only easy to upload spend-based data for Cat 1. If looking to upload spend-data in other categories, this is more of a manual exercise. However, I think there is a reason for this: i.e. to promote using better, more accurate sources, i.e. activity-based data etc.
Easy to work with carbon footprint software
Comentários: Very positive looking forward to new additions and future expansion on product level
Vantagens:
The easy workflow and good dashboarding overview. Additionally the automatic reports, however the ESRS-E1 report could be more elaborate.
Desvantagens:
The limitation in databases for our industry.
Easiest and most accessible emissions calculator
Comentários: Very good. I just love it. Lots of databases already includes and being able to customize them is a plus. We offer it to some clients and it looks like it suits them.
Vantagens:
Very simple and pleasant interface, very intuitive, pleasing to the eye. Works with Excel. Benchmarking. Prices are really affordable. Contact with supporters (Javier, Kyle) really good. Customizable look and emission factors.
Desvantagens:
Non-direct matching between Excel and CAD, emission factors need to be monitored, and sometimes difficult to find. Errors during import. Need to get a report of GHG and ISO 14064.
Extremely receptive platform
Comentários: We have had a great experience with Carbon+Alt+Delete, as mentioned, they are extremely receptive to feedback and are often engaging with their users to communicate updates.
Vantagens:
The platform is very self explanatory, and if there are hiccups along the way, the guides are extremely useful, and the staff are always willing to answer questions. On this theme, Kenneth and the team always listen to users' feedback to the changes that are important to them.
Desvantagens:
Allowing to customise the colours on the graphs on the dashboard would allow for more customisability, and more tailoring towards presentation for clients.
