They never come any better than Heartland Payments+, a secure tool for processing payments.

Comentários: Heartland Payments+ has lifted us the burden of having a single way to get payed by customers. It has allowed us to accept different types of payment methods which has made online food ordering so effective. The overall experience with this amazing product has been a great success.

Vantagens:

Heartland Payments+ gives us the most confidential and secure money processing platform making it easy to run our business especially when receiving online payments. It ensures that we have accurate and updated transactions reports that help us to track all the received payments and also makes it easy to resolve any payments disputes. With Heartland Payments+, we have been able to give our customers the option to pay using their desired payment methods without any restrictions.

Desvantagens:

Heartland Payments+ performance has been exemplary we have not found anything to complain about.

Comentários: I had several very bad experiences with Woodforest bank, the first credit card bank I dealt with. I had just started my business and there were a lot of issues I had no experience with. I switched from Woodforest to Heartland years ago, I never changed to another bank although I have been contacted many times.

Vantagens:

Your customer service is excellent, I have never had a problem with your associates. I have been a customer since 1996. Your rates are higher than some, but I know you are trustworthy and easy to contact.

Desvantagens:

We used to have a rep in our area. That was a great benefit and very helpful. This service was discontinued a few years ago. I really miss the extra help and guidance they provided.

It works, but costs a bit more than the product is worth. Customer service and Tech support are iffy.

Comentários: Heartland is enormous. Everything you need to fix is taken care of by a different team. But a member of that team is assigned to you, so there is a chance of developing a relationship, helping you to build a good experience for you customers.
But the online experience of working with heartland can be over whelming. Different website to visit for each product of theirs you use.
The software for the POS is outdated, as they are well aware. They're developing another mobile payments option, which was more problematic than helpful by the time I left in April of 2023. The didn't tell me the new product was still in Beta, I only found out after I was committed, and having issues with the product.

Vantagens:

They kept some of the records well. They were easy to roll out. Kinda, but that's mostly due to how dated the product is.

Desvantagens:

The updated product (I left them April, 2023), and which I used for 2 weeks, was still in Beta when I left. I don't think it was ready to be rolled out, but the older product lacked certain analytics that I needed. When I reached out to tech support for help with the new product, I received vastly different support than other teams had previously offered. They were rude and then ghosted me. I was disappointed that I was sold an upgrade for product without having been told it was in Beta.

Why heartland payment is our go to payment management tool

Comentários: Easy to use, offers low rates, strong security, and provides flexible payment options for our clients making it a perfect solution for simplifying our payment and finance management

Vantagens:

Heartland payment has been really easy to use with no hidden fees or confusing costs. it has really made our payment process simpler by offering different payment options so our customers can use whatever method they like best. it is worth mentioning that it has strong security features as well. Honestly, it’s been a game-changer for us as it makes it much easier to handle payments and manage our finances smoothly

Desvantagens:

None at all, it was easy to get a hang of and it hasn't failed ever since.

It support almost all available payment types which is why we have made it our sole payment processing tool. It is very flexible and allows us to customize and scale it to fit our continually growing needs. Heartland Payments+ financial reports keeps us on the light and makes it easy to track all our processed payments.

Desvantagens:

It has never become a struggle to use any of the Heartland Payments+ features and neither has there been nothing to like least.

Great processing but watch fees

Comentários: Had them for 9 years and had no issues. Had to change credit card processing and thats when we found out how high their fees were.

They're customer service is really great

They basicly raise they're processing rates without notice.

Comentários: I have to rate my experience with Heartland as very, very poor at this point. I moved away from them to Beyond and was able to cut my credit card processing costs in just about half.

Vantagens:

When I used to have a rep that I could easily contact and he would find help I needed.

Desvantagens:

Heartland started lopping fees on us over the years. Their support has failed to provide me with a customer file as I was promised I would be able to get. They were zero help in that regard for my switching processors. And I do not like how they handle charge-backs from customers who have defrauded us.

One stop center for business payment and management

Vantagens:

It is safe and secure to processing client and customer payment using this software. We never had issues with security leaked and always able to processing payment on the platform. Creating invoice or recurring billing is fast by using the build-in template.

"When we talk about fast, Reliable and safe payment method only Heartland payment+ meet all requirements"

Company error, falsely added to TMF "blacklist, can't get merchant services, Beware!!!

Comentários: Absolutely terrible from start to finish, hopefully Capterra will help me rectify the damage they have caused us. They don't care at all about the customer experience, maybe they care about their online reputation. I even tried to apply for merchant services with them to trigger an update on our account, and they won't even respond.

Vantagens:

Negative and costly experience all around. Permanently damaged our business. They refuse to explain anything at all about blocking my business on the TMF list, thus damaging our ability to apply for any merchant services.

Desvantagens:

Zero follow through during the aggressive sales attempt, poor documentation processing, no support. They "blackballed" our company and no one has any information whatsoever, and no training on how to direct us. Hours and hours invested on phone and email with zero progress toward understanding how this happened. This is FRAUD and they should be required legally to explain and justify their mistakes.

One of the best in class for this service

Vantagens:

I am not sure anyone can beat Heartland Payment Systems. We moved between processing companies 4 times over 5 years and as a consultant for other hospitality businesses I still recommend them ahead of all else. From the reps, to the service, ease of use, low processing rates and an incredible company that stands behind it all. This is a brand you can trust and service you can count on.

Desvantagens:

There are no cons with Heartland unless you can't find a rep in your local area. Then I say, work with them anyway, they are worth it and you will be treated like family no matter what.
