Pros: We have used Televox for years to remind patients of their upcoming appointments via automated voice calls. Customer support is very responsive when you would like to change something or if you experience technical difficulties. Patients can confirm or decline the appointment time by keying in a response. Emails are generated and sent to administrators when the necessary files are not uploaded to notify us that reminders were not done that day (validation tool).

Cons: Uploading system is a bit clunky and outdated. Televox added a text message option but it's not user friendly because it requires an opt in and it's not a true SMS message (it is delivered as an HTML).
