Vantagens:

Gostei de todas as funcionalidades, mas uma das funcionalidades que mais gostei foi a facilidade de agendar e gerenciar tarefas.

Desvantagens:

Até o momento não há nada digno de nota negativa, apenas preciso me adaptar mais há algumas funcionalidades.

Achieve an equitable and sustainable resource management with Float.

Comentários: Float enlightened us on how to have better planning and resources allocations. It allows us to first understand what is available to use and with such information, it becomes easy to plan our work based on what we have and what we are capable of. It allows us to institute responsibility among ourselves since it easy to know who is allocated to which job.

Vantagens:

Float excellent resources management features helps us to bring together everyone and everything in the organization under one central point and this allows us to plan our projects effectively and allocate duties based on ones capabilities. It has useful dashboards which keeps us updated on the project time and budget expenditure in real time.

Desvantagens:

Working with Float has always been simple for me and i have no dislikes.

The best tool for our purpose, with some issues

Vantagens:

It gives a good overview over the planned projects, even if there are many employees in different teams. The planning, time tracking and reporting features seem to work in a stable manner. Sorting and filtering is done really well.

Desvantagens:

There are some UX problems which are just plain weird. Scheduling time for an employee is tedious because the planned time affects the duration and vice-versa. We do our planning on a weekly basis instead of day-to-day, so we're often entering time planned like 0.4h/day which is more complicated than we would like it to be. There are some weird issues with the API as well, where some fields are not being applied correctly, or behavior changes with updates.

Production Management Software

Vantagens:

It's web based and easy to use. You can track based on projects or people.

Desvantagens:

You cannot see the projection of the finance accurately as if team members forget to log their time. This is a big disadvantage and would be the reason why wouldn't recommend.

Task Scheduling Made Easy

Comentários: I've been using Float for 3 years now, and my experience with it has been very positive. I use it every day, and it has made scheduling tasks and tracking progress so much easier for me. It’s a tool that’s become an essential part of my workflow, helping me stay organized and manage projects more efficiently.

Vantagens:

Ease of use, drag-and-drop scheduling, time tracking, clean interface

Desvantagens:

Very basic Gantt Chart features, lacking options when it comes to exporting schedules

Good experience

Vantagens:

We were previously working on a competitive solution. Compared to other solutions on the market, Float is affordable and allows you to use the tool to its full potential. You're not drowning in a ton of functionality and that's what I liked about it. The ease of use for users and the ease of management for administrators is very satisfying.

Desvantagens:

Perhaps the most annoying thing about Float is the ability to export a schedule for customers that is easy to understand. The statistics section could also be improved so that we can compare the time spent (and internal costs) against what has been sold (with the costs sold).

Perfect for our team

Vantagens:

Does what it says on the can! The app itself is intuitive, lightweight, and isn't bloated with features. It was easy to set up thanks to a detailed Help Center and a great onboarding team. The Float Community Slack channel is also an excellent resource.

Desvantagens:

There are a few additional features I'd like, but the Float team is pretty transparent with their roadmap, so I'm confident most of those will be added in the coming months.

Float makes the most useful tool for planning and managing work resources.

Comentários: It has been a very productive experience. Float provides us with an amazing platform that help us schedule and plan our team tasks based on our resources availability. It allows us to assign tasks amongst ourselves and schedule task timelines to keep check on time.

Vantagens:

Float has the best to use work scheduling tools that assist us to allocate tasks and create work schedules easily. It has an very user-friendly interface which allows us to comfortably make use of all the available functions. Float time tracking features keeps us always on the lookout on the time we are spending performing each tasks.

Desvantagens:

Working with Float has been so seamless and there is no aspect about it not to like best.

Featureful, but lacking some that counts most

Vantagens:

The general UI is very nifty and responsive, and the scheduling view is great for visualising timelines. When managing a specific project, it's great for visualising timelines and tasks across the team.

Desvantagens:

It lacks certain reports and integrations, most importantly in the revenue tracking and headcount allocation space. This means that we had to resort to "hacks" to record information, and then visualise this data elsewhere. We also had to use hacks on other softwares to set up the right invoicing / approval / billing processes.

FLOAT - EI

Vantagens:

minimalistic style makes it easy to identify different tasks and task blocks

Desvantagens:

It's a bit basic in terms of what you can do with scheduling, could be more autonomous when assigning tasks in terms of setting your own colour permanently

It's a good tool for the purpose

Comentários: I really don't have any strong feelings about float

It lets me log whether I worked today and correctly assign projects

Slightly annoying process to log multiple blocks for the same day

Float for a UX/UI designer in a small companyi

Vantagens:

- The feature I liked most about Float is its intuitive employee scheduling interface. It made managing shifts and schedules a breeze.- The impactful features for me include the project planning/scheduling tool, which helped in allocating resources and tracking milestones effectively.- The integration with existing business processes was relatively smooth, saving us time and effort.

Desvantagens:

- While most aspects are user-friendly, there were occasional instances where certain features felt a bit cumbersome to navigate.- The integration with existing processes did pose some challenges initially, requiring adjustments on our end to fully align.

Great Software for Project Managers

Comentários: Great tool overall to track hours and availability of teammates over multiple projects

Vantagens:

overall it is easy to use and has a lot of great quality of life features for our firm. It would be great to have the ability to integrate it with our financial software, but still a great tool for scheduling out projects and teammates.

Desvantagens:

It would be great to have more integration options to make it more efficient for expense tracking.

Float Application - One of the best resource managment tool

Comentários: Overall, it's a time-saver tool for our team in the organization as it centralizes a lot of task with transparency.

Vantagens:

One of the things I like best about Float resource management tool is that it allows you to centralize your people and project data. This means that you can easily see the availability, workload, and skills of your team members, as well as the status, budget, and timeline of your projects

Desvantagens:

A few points on which float needs to work:- It has few API integrations that work- It has limited reporting and forecasting features or maybe I need to look into it myself.

Easy to use for work complete & future tasks

Comentários: Generally a very good experience with float and it meets all my needs as an individual employee. Only note is that its hard to export specific information for myself, as noted in the Cons section of this review

Vantagens:

Scheduling is easy for both myself and others. My office operates of a flexible hybrid schedule so its great that I can also indicate what days I will be in the office.

Desvantagens:

With the introduction of hybrid work after covid, I use float to indicate what days I am in the office using the status feature that already exists. For tax purposes, It would be very useful if I as an individual employee could export the days and hours each day that I worked from home for the past year.

Float - planning reviw

Comentários: I am using Float for 5 years now. I will never change it fo any other planning program.

Vantagens:

Easy to use, friendly interface, easy to follow by all departments

Desvantagens:

I would love for our timesheet tool to have an API so we can integrate Float, but unfortunately it is not yet possible.

Desvantagens:

That you need to separate the schedules in order to mix the number of hours on a specific daySometimes the information is not displayed immediately when you check the reportsYou can improve the system with data exports, namely, convert the CSV file into an Excel file

An amazing overview for the whole team!

Vantagens:

It's 'straight to the point' approach with giving a clear overview of how projects are performing within the agency and to give employees that overview of what they'll be working on.

Desvantagens:

A lack of a running timer for time tracking puts it at a disadvantage compared to other tools like Clockify.

Easy to use but lacking some features

Comentários: I use it weekly to staff members to projects and track their capacity. it gets difficult when we need to restaff people and/or use different timing in different times

Vantagens:

You can filter down by project, title, names. You can also add details of the team members (what team they belong to, direct report or even simple tags like experience level)

Desvantagens:

When you assign a team member to a project, and they need to work different hours in different weeks, you have to create an entry for each segment. E.g. 3hrs/day in Q1 and 4hrs/day in Q2, and then the same in Q3 and Q4, you need to create 4 different entries. It gets complicated if you program by week.

Desvantagens:

When in the scheduling view, if the project name is long, and if a resource is assigned to it for a long period, on some weeks, the middle part of the project name is not visible. Only the first 15 or so and the last few characters are visible. This should be corrected. Also, I would like improvents in the view and functionality in the scenario when a resource is assigned to multiple projects on a single day or has a few hours off and not a full day off

Daily Float User

Vantagens:

My whole team can access it, and really helps drive who is on what piece of billable work.

Desvantagens:

Gets hard to manage lots of small projects and tasks, the view gets crowded and hard to read. Reporting is straight forward either, its hard to understand initially what they show

Float as an indicator of a company's future

Comentários: From the outset, its real-time tracking variable seemed the most appropriate to me. It helped that it was easy to understand

Vantagens:

Its best function, in my opinion, is to be able to forecast a company's cash flow. Something that some entrepreneurs do not take into consideration and leads them to bankruptcy. He is also an excellent manager.

Desvantagens:

There are problems in the reformulation of the activities, it occurs when you want to modify some tasks and these are not modified at the same time in the schedule.
