Vantagens:
Having a customer representation team that truly cares about the success of your business goes a long way. Our Account Representative, [sensitive content hidden] , is attentive, proactive, has excellent communication and organizational skills, and works her tail off to come up with creative solutions to unique challenges that inevitably arise in the 3PL space. [sensitive content hidden] (who previously served as our Account Representative prior to her promotion) is an excellent advocate for BruMate to help clear red-tape and serve as our champion in the ShipMonk orgnanization when a point of escalation is required (while still managing our expectations appropriately). They're also just good, down-to-earth people! (Also, shoutout to former associates who've moved to different roles in ShipMonk; [sensitive content hidden] - you were all amazing as well!)
Desvantagens:
ShipMonk needs to improve their B2B fulfillment services to be on-par with their DTC offering. Something I know they're actively working on.

Started good and turned BAD!!!!
Comentários: Nice employees but it ends there. Very costly and once they have your products, lose them, then find them, and wait until you are done with it all and insist on them boxing up everything and getting your inventory back, it WILL COST YOU time, money, and many sleepless nights!!!!

Most of the employees are incredibly pleasant but the fees get out of hand and good luck if they lose your products, like they did ours!!!

Losing many of our SKU's, which cost us over a thousand dollars and repeat business!!!
Made to feel you are their only client

I couldn't be happier with ShipMonk. Being a new startup with zero knowledge about integrating my on-line store, relaxedtravelers.com, with a fulfillment house, the folks at ShipMonk really made me feel like I was their only client. My on-boarding specialist, [sensitive content hidden], was a study in patience, answering my questions quickly, and in detail. And, when I didn't get it, repeating the instructions again . . . and again . . . and again. She even took the time to do a Zoom meeting with me to put the final touches on my account.
Desvantagens:
I really can't think of any "cons." Connecting an on-line store with a fulfillment house calls for a very precise set of integration rules that have to be met. If you have a warehouse the size of a football field, filled with thousands of products, you had better know precisely what each product is and precisely where it is. It was a real learning process for me to come to grips with this, but fortunately the folks at ShipMonk helped me understand this and put every bit of information in the right place and in the right order.

Do Not Recommend - Avoid
Comentários: When it comes to sales, they are very attentive. But the past 6 months have been terrible. Mispicks that are leading to a 60% order accuracy. Issues with receiving in inventory correctly - combining skus that require the 'special projects' team to fix. Misplaced inventory. Delays in shipping large order - 14-21 days at times. The list goes on. To top it off, they're charging for their mistakes and for them to correct the mistake. They're such a headache and I cannot recommend them to anyone. They don't care about small businesses. There are a few good people on the team (happiness engineers), but they have to fight an uphill battle to fully take care of their customers. Do not go with them - they will negatively impact your bottom line. They have a lot of hidden fees and charge you for their mistakes.

They have an inventory system that allows you to see inventory in each warehouse.
Desvantagens:
It's basic functionality makes it hard to find meaningful insights related to inventory. This platform is good for only two things: fulfilling orders and storing inventory.

DO NOT GO WITH SHIPMONK AS YOUR NEXT 3PL
Comentários: if you are looking for a new 3PL, let me just start by saying.... DO NOT USE SHIPMONK. There are so many better options out there and the biggest regret ever is that I used ShipMonk for the past 18 months. When it came to closing my account, I was prepared to file a lawsuit it got so bad and I honestly wish I did. To 'close out my account and move my inventory' it took a whopping 35 days. You read that right.. 35 DAYS! That's 35 days of not being able to take sales. Thankfully - I had our best sellers already on Amazon so I could manually fulfil orders, but this is just a joke. Not only did it take this long to get my inventory picked up, they messed up NUMEROUS cartons mislabeling the contents and didn't label my pallets correctly. I ended up leaving them to go with Shopify Fulfillment Network, but if you don't qualify for them, I highly recommend ShipBob. I received quotes from over 5 3PL's and if I wasn't going with Shopify, ShipBob was my next choice.

The software is nicely built, but the customer service, shipping costs, and fulfillment times are a joke.

SHIPPING PRICES: One of the main reasons you use a good 3PL is to have the ability to take advantage of their cheaper / negotiated rates. Not the case here... rather than get cheaper rates, they are charging you more for every single carrier. I was getting cheaper rates using ShipStation back when I shipped myself. They are charging you as much as possible to just provide more profits for them, truly not caring for these small businesses they are providing services for. 2 DAY SHIPPING? RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM SHIPMONK!!!! In todays world, expedited shipping is becoming the new standard, and if you are looking to offer that to your -customers, MOVE ON TO THE NEXT COMPANY FAST. ShipMonk's 2-Day shipping cost was so incredibly high.. there were MANY cases where I would pay for their "custom label fee" which is $5, provide my own label via ShipStation, and it would STILL be cheaper than the cost they were giving me. How does that even happen? They offer 'DHL EXPEDITED MAX (2-3 BUSINESS DAY) and I did a report on all shipments that used this service and almost NONE made it there within 5 business days, causing me to refund SO many customers that paid extra for expedited shipping. I prefer USPS priority as I think the prices are fair, but they don't offer this for the 48 domestic states, only for Hawaii and Alaska which is the biggest joke EVER.

Comentários: I'd like to share our experience with ShipMonk's services because we've seen some successes in our collaboration with them. This year, we partnered with them for Section 321 import and fulfillment services to help us manage and reduce inventory import duty and tariff costs. Solid savings so far. Our products are manufactured overseas and imported to North American for sale. We're about 6 months in at this point, and they've been a pretty good partner for us. The Shipmonk team has the right attitude, is responsive, and the fulfillment services are great.We import into San Diego, store in Mexico, and then ship orders into the USA duty free. For Section 321 imports, their services plugin directly from their Mexican fulfillment center, and then that patches directly into their inventory and order management systems platform. So at any point, we can get a pretty clear view of what's going on in our fulfillment ops.All of this has been crucial for us in reducing shipping times and import costs this year. Beyond that, customer deliveries have been reliable and efficient. The onboarding was 1:1 with a dedicated rep and covered most of our questions. We've had a few support tickets in to them since, and the "Happiness Engineers" have been fairly quick and professional. Two thumbs up!

Really helped our efficiency and allows us to focus on selling/marketing more!

Nothing really. As long as you are diligent in the process of switching to Shipmonk it has all been working so far

During a chaotic time for our company - my first time using a 3PL and also our company getting ready to launch - [sensitive content hidden] made sure everything on the Shipmonk side of things was seamless...he actually made it fun! I was a bit daunted by the process, but having him walk me through it, at times, step-by-step, and at all hours of the day, made things incredibly manageable and made me confident in my ability to manage future inventory deliveries and confident in our companies ability to provide a swift delivery and excellent experience to our customers. I couldn't be happier with the onboarding experience at Shipmonk, and specifically, [sensitive content hidden]. If it's any indication of whats to come I know we are in excellent hands and made the right choice with this 3PL. BAD COMPANY
Comentários: Really BAD company. I would recommend to stay away from. I have been running eCommerce businesses for 15 years, and ShipMonk has been, unfortunately, my worst customer experience with any vendor ever. Every single part of the cycle has been horrendus, horrible, tiring and filled with mistakes from ShipMonk's end. From shipping the products, doing special projects, to receiving wrong prices upfront and explanations on how their pricing working, from doing errors of shipping and errors of constuction. Bad. Bad. Bad. And as with every bad company, LEAVING and STOPPING the relationship has been a very long, tedius and PAINFUL experience. In the end, after I cleared off my billing on the website from our bank, ShipMonk has lied to us, and they still kept that bank connection to us (illegally) and charged us more money than needed and not willing to refund us. A bad company is bad in the beginning - and also in the end, apparently.
Vantagens:
- Nice GUI. - Willing to take on various projects. Even though, that's same pro is a negative since they do the various projects in a horrendus way.
Desvantagens:
- Overpriced. - Regularly lying about details and pricing. - Misleading. - Regular errors in packing the products.

Stay away from Shipmonk! The company is a FRAUD
Comentários: Stay away from this company at all cost! They've lost sight of who they are. Over the holidays of this year, our company launched a brand new product. We put this product on pre-order for our customers to purchase and receive before Christmas. Shipmonk Received the product and shipped out 2 of the same items in the bundle on over 100 orders. This bundle is a $500 item. Once we realized what was happening, we immediately tried to get a hold of Shipmonk. It Took us over a week to get this issue into the hands of someone who can stop the shipments, until we figure out how to fix it. Stopping the mistake. We pay for the premium product with MonkProtect, which is Shipmonks version of shipping protection for their clients. This is a complete SCAM. This mistake happened to have cost us over $15,000, and shipmonk/Monkprotect refuses to pay on the claims that they made the mistake on(which they have admitted too). Leaving us high and dry. Seriously if your a small business owner. DO NOT USE SHIPMONK. There are many other 3pl's out there that appreciate the business and are true to their word.

Funny watching the fat Buddah dance around, while it takes 4 minutes for the order page to load. Similar to the fat greedy pigs running this company

Software was easy to use, but their slogan. Stress Less, Grow More is a slap in the face

Bad support teams
Comentários: We have been using Shipmonk for about 9 months, we originally had a lot of problems getting our online stores setup with their system, they don't have any open apis or any way to do stuff if you have your own manual store, but it ended up working well enough once we moved to shopify. Then this holiday season we ended up having a shipment come in late, we reached out to them to get them to schedule a pickup so that we could still get it delivered on time, we were told this would be fine and tried to schedule a delivery as soon as possible with them. It took them 2 weeks of us messaging them and 3 days of our shipment sitting at the port for them to tell us they couldn't. We could have scheduled another pickup but decided this would have been better. We ended up getting it shipped the next day and again told that they would ship them out that day, they had also sent out an email that as long as we had our product there on time they could ship it out by Saturday. It then got to Tuesday morning and a bunch of printers still were not correctly shipped out and they had not correctly scanned the products for Fedex delivery so we have no guarantee that they will be shipped on time. Over the entire course of this we talked to about 6 different customer support people and were constantly told different things. Their mixed messages cost us thousands of dollars and the best they said is they assign us to another customer support specialist.

It was very easy to connect with shopify to get basic things working.
Desvantagens:
The customer support teams constantly give us conflicting information and even their mass emails give completely wrong information. Also their interface is very hard to manage and can make it so you easily make some massive mistakes. There are some very basic things like changing choice on multiple orders at a time that are completely impossible so that we have to manually go in and fix it in each order

Shipmonk put my small nonproft out of business
Comentários: Then the problems started. Products that arrived were not showing up in my inventory. The June 1st ship deadline passed with one of the items; my branded boxes being "lost". The tracking info shows that these boxes arrived at Shipmonk May 6th but were not "found" until over a month later. I have angry subscribers and my boxes have missed both the June and July ship dates. Still no idea when they will be shipped. The current shippings rates I’ve been quoted are nearly triple what [SENSITIVE CONTENT] quoted me. This is not workable for my nonprofit. If I had known any of this, I would have stayed far away from Shipmonk. The integration with Cratejoy is not seamless and and there is still no way at this point to automatically send shipping notifications to the customers so I imagine I will be doing this by hand. Horrible experience, I have warned two colleagues in the subscription box industry to stay away from Shipmonk when they asked me my experience.

the only good part of the experience was the friendliness of the happiness engineer. He tried his hardest but the company is dishonest and has destroyed my business.

I'm copying and pasting the Shipmonk values from their website: Our Values We help companies STRESS LESS and GROW MORE We are TRANSPARENT We prioritize GROWTH We are SERVICE ORIENTED We champion NEW TECHNOLOGY We PROMOTE DIVERSITY We are MULTINATIONAL We are YOUR PARTNER THROUGH THICK AND THIN We GET SH*T DONE As it is, the amount of time, and Stress I have spent over the last 3 months just to get a shipment of 110 boxes packed and prepared for shipping greatly outweighs the time I would have spent doing it myself. There was a lack of Transparency that this was going to be the case, my company is imploding, not Growing, I have not received the Services I signed up for, whatever New Technology you're using, it's not working, I don't care about the gender or color or Diversity of the people I'm working with, I care about the results, Shipmonk has been an absolute disaster for my business, not a Partner and Shit is Not Getting Done. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was the salesperson I spoke to about signing up. I began speaking with her in February about having Shipmonk take over my Cratejoy-hosted subscription box. I was told this would not be a problem and was quoted shipping rates that were comparable to to the ones I was already having. I thought this was going to be great and that it would streamline the shipping of my 501 (c) (3) nonprofit subscription box. All of my products arrived at Shipmonk in Pennsylvania at least 10 days before the shipment was supposed to go out: June 1st.

Has gone badly in the past 8 months
Comentários: After working with Shipmonk for almost 3 years, in the past 8 months things has gone very badly. Issues popping out on a daily basis. Loss of inventory, terrible customer service, issues will never be sorted, you still going to need to pay for them to fix their own issues, lack of professionalism and extremely uncapable employees. We have huge operations with them and are now trying to find a decent 3PL to work with. 100% stay away from them.

Right now we are just disapointed as all is going down the drain
The best DTC 3PL
Comentários: We trust that our products and orders and being shipped out efficiently and correctly — we are able to set it and forget it and are grateful to have such a reliable extension of our business!
Vantagens:
The dashboard is incredibly easy to follow and navigate through — extremely user friendly and doesn't require much training. You can easily access all product information, shipping cost, weight and tracking information in minutes. It's updated in real time and synced with our Shopify store as well.
Desvantagens:
Occasional glitches but customer service is quick to answer and help fix any errors.

Comentários: ShipMonk is NEVER reliable. Their 2day shipping takes 15days to get delivered. We get thousands of loses because of their incompetence. We lost baluable wholesale customers like Dick’s sporting goods because of their slow shipping. It was never a good experience. Their shipping costs ade rocket high, it’s unbelievable. We shipped most of our inventories to our engraving facility, and they treated it as a pullout and they don’t want to ship our order, and we still have 30k of inventory they are holding hostage. Bad experience and we will never recommend.
Vantagens:
It can be easy to use but shipping is never reliable you have to choose the most expensive one to assure delivery.
Desvantagens:
Very slow.
Incompetent and Negligent
Comentários: Incompetent customer service. Cannot handle a basic integration request with the most popular ecommerce platform. You have to call the sales team to get support because nobody answers their support phone number. This shows they care less about their current customers and only care about getting new customers. Their incompetence caused me to spend hours dealing their customer service, only to be told I would need to wait yet another day or so for integration, when I requested integration over 1 week ago. To make matters worse, their team refused to answer general questions, input the misplaced orders, or really do anything to help. Steer clear of Shipmonk. Save your sanity.
Vantagens:
It does work and your orders will be shipped at some point.
Desvantagens:
Poor customer service. Zero accountability. More expensive than comparable options. Low-skilled tech team. Cannot handle basic integrations.

Fantastic Onboarding Support
Vantagens:
Just connected my online store and sent my first batch of inventory to Shipmonk. Everything was smooth and onboarding was a breeze. Will update later to reflect my complete order fulfillment experience with them. Interface is nice, alot cleaner than Amazon FBA but their instructional guides are less detailed. What really stood out to me though was the customer service component. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] from the Onboarding team was the most helpful individual throughout my whole experience. It is refreshing to have a customer service member not only care about the issues you are facing, but take a step further to see to it that you and your businesses' needs are addressed. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] personally advocated on our behalf to Shipmonks Returns Team to fully integrate our custom returns process with their system. He also helped us out EVERY step of the way with onboarding, answering all of our questions and personally navigating us through the process and pain points we stumbled on. I can say the genuine care, personal level of detail, and friendly assistance he provided is one of the main reasons I would recommend Shipmonk to anyone. Just like the old adage; you cant buy trust. Trust is earned over time. And due to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and Shipmonk's stellar support, this is the main reason why I choose to trust them with my business. Thanks Shipmonk Team!

Getting setup, the self service training and modules were pretty standard- the main trainings are nice however some side articles and topics are outdated and havent been updated to reflect their current version. Some areas such as returns are completely left out entirely for you to navigate. As a fairly tech savvy individual I would score overall ease of use a 75-80% (out of 100).
The worst company I have interreacted with in 20+ years
Comentários: Shipmonk are very good at selling their services and giving you false confidence in their abilities and execution. Nothing promised to us transpired. We launched our store without our fulfilment ready despite several reassurances that it would be ready. Three days in and three days after we were told our inventory would 100% be ready they hadn't even started the unpacking the boxes. We cancelled on the spot and arranged another 3PL company. This was March 2021. We're still negotiating to have some of our goods returned. We have already paid them $250 for zero service and they now want more despite having done nothing for us. 15 months now of trying to negotiate the return of a few dresses and trousers. They would offer a price and then rescind the offer only to increase it. Just this week they have asked for over $4000 for the storage of a few items of clothes that we've been trying to have returned to us for over a year. Not only this, but they have an account closing contract with a clause that prevents negative reviews of their business. This says all you need to know about them as a firm. Excellent at sales, clueless about anything else.

Shipmonk 3PL for health & wellness startups
Comentários: The technology/software is top notch. I've visited their facility in Fort Lauderdale and have been extremely impressed with their overall operation. Since we are a small business, customer service is the most important thing to us. Shipmonk is incredibly responsive and helped us navigate some issues we had with our SKUs. The onboarding was a breeze and would rate their customer services a 10/10.
Vantagens:
I've used 3 3PLs in the past with three different softwares. Shipmonk is night and day the best and has incredibly robust functionality that makes shipping/logistics management much easier. Love the UI and features they have implemented. Worth a demo of the backend to see the software. They are very innovative and have through the pain points we have to make what I feel is the best product on the market.
Desvantagens:
I have yet to find any features in the software that I would improve on.

Comentários: ShipMonk has been a great partner to our small food business. They made us feel important and were always very responsive to our questions and needs. We found their pricing structure very easy to understand and we in fact realized substantial savings both in comparison to other fulfillment centers and in shipping costs by using their various locations.

ShipMonk was very easy to evaluate during the decision making process, the on-boarding was very efficient, and staff responsiveness is unsurpassed.
Desvantagens:
Hard to say. It really is very user-friendly so there is nothing notable on the negative side.

This interface is very clean and easy to understand. The support staff is also timely, helpful, and knowledgeable. The CEO isn't afraid to jump in to make sure things are running smoothly.
Desvantagens:
The returns section could be a little more organized. I would love to be able to archive returns as we check them off in our system.

Vantagens:
Very easy to use, super intuitive UI, great color use and layout, especially appreciate the at-risk feature for tracking packages that haven't moved in a while. Awesome support from the team as well! They are open to emails, calls, and are very thorough in their communication.
Desvantagens:
Ship mapping is a little convoluted and makes it feel as if the shipping methods available cannot always be fine-tuned to your company's preference.
