For critical web applications, you need to have an independent system that is capable of monitoring your primary infrastructure, detecting failure, and switching to an independent secondary system. The transaction-based DNS editor is a lifesaver in case I mess up a change, and being able to stage all the changes and commit them all at once keeps everything tidy and prevents inconsistent DNS records.
