Avaliações do ManageEngine Endpoint Central
Realmente Surpreendente!
Configurações e acesso remoto as estações.
Desvantagens:
Estou gostando
Vantagens:

Desvantagens:
Custo elevado principalmente para inclussão de add-in
Gerenciamento remoto eficaz e confiável é a marca do Manage Engine Desktop Central
Vantagens:
The go-to for Google Workspace organizations
Comentários: Overall, ManageEngine Endpoint Central enables me to schedule automated patching of systems, deploy software and software updates, execute scripts, remotely assist users, and manage assets -- on both Windows and macOS. This is all without needing Azure AD or on-premises Active Directory.
Vantagens:
In my comparison of endpoint management products -- both in 2020 and again in 2023 -- ManageEngine Endpoint Central (Enterprise or UEM) was the only one to check all of the must-have boxes for organizations that aren't entrenched in Microsoft 365. It also does so at one of the most competitive prices.
Desvantagens:
It doesn't provide automated/audited privilege management/elevation for providing users with local administrator access on their system when needed. Instead, you must deploy a configuration change to add them to the local administrators group, or to create a second account with administrator privileges.

Razões para mudar para o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Provided the most features for the money without requiring Active Directory.
Endpoint Central, one tool to rule them all.
Comentários: Excellent. We use 5+ ManageEngine products and most are integrated and communicate to provide a seamless management tool for our business. There truly is a solution for every problem. As I have been using ManageEngine products they consistently improve and impress. Feature requests are taken seriously and it's really great to see something you suggest make it into the next release. For the price I'd argue there isn't a better product.
Vantagens:
The depth and breath of the tools, functions and features that Endpoint Central provides, couple that with a very appealing cost and it's a great tool.
Desvantagens:
Support. Online documentation is... different. There can be several documents for the same process or documents that have been superseded by others but ManageEngine doesn't date stamp so it's difficult to tell. Also getting support can at times be difficult, it's mainly online chat and there can be some communication differences. Overall it's there but sometimes difficult.
Updated Review after 7 mo We won’t renew annual subscription
Comentários:
Not extremely pleased with Endpoint Central Cloud UEM. For what we ultimately use in the suite we could’ve saved money and used either a different ManageEngine / ZoHo product or a different software altogether.
I’m not meaning to sound so hard on them, but I’m just not happy with what we got for the cost. We won’t be renewing the annual subscription.
Vantagens:
Documentation is very helpful, customer service is generally very good and prompt at answering. There are a lot of included features in endpoint central uem edition (we used endpoint central uem cloud). Windows OS features work often. Remote access feature is good. Patch management works.
Desvantagens:
Limited features for MacOS and extremely few for Linux although some problems may be limited by the OS. Enrollment was a pain for Mac and Linux and provided few benefits. (No MdM for Linux. MDM required and included for macOS, but provided few benefits.) Advertising on the ManageEngine website and Endpoint Central website promised way more than it delivers. Especially for multi OS features. Very windows-centric.
Alternativas consideradas anteriormente: Jamf Pro
Razões para mudar para o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Jamf Pro is way too expensive. Intune doesn’t play nicely with non-Microsoft windows os. Intune would have too limited functions. Jamf is a big question mark because the cost is too prohibitive.
Manage Engine Endpoint Central - like having another employee.
Comentários: Overall, this trial has been a good experience. We have successfully installed many patches and updates across our network within just three weeks' time. However, there are many left unpatched, and more time and troubleshooting will be needed to continue working through the reasons why failures are happening. This may be due to our network restrictions, and not fully the fault of ManageEngine EPC. This is a product we wish to fully implement in our organization to improve our security and make a part of our cybersecurity initiative.
Vantagens:
The ability to quickly gather data, inventory, as well as vulnerabilities and security concerns present on the network is invaluable. The remote access features are so handy and the time saved is amazing. It's like having another employee. Installation on our server was straightforward. We are still exploring all the things ManageEngine Endpoint Central can do, and we look forward to implementing it in our organization once we get approval.
Desvantagens:
Some of the patching processes are not intuitive. There is a learning curve to the entire program (which is expected), and it takes time and configuring to get some things working. While most failures point you to a solution to fix the issue, some error messages are vague, and solutions are not readily apparent. Sometimes failures to install a patch are left unexplained.

Manager Engine Endpoint Central
Comentários: Overall I am happy with the product because OS Deployer works great.
Vantagens:
We mainly use it for patch management and OS Deployment.
Desvantagens:
Patching process can be a bit flaky sometimes and hard to know why it failed on a certain computer
Alternativas consideradas anteriormente: SmartDeploy
Razões para escolher o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Cheaper option and included OS Deployer.

Razões para mudar para o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Price and features that are available. Easy to setup.
ManageEngine Endpoint Central
Comentários: Its been great so far. Customer service has been top notch.
Vantagens:
Easy to use. Fast deployments of app and OS.
Desvantagens:
Wish I could image over Wi-Fi. Also apps that are added for deployment are not auto updated like apps from your software tab and they should be.
Alternativas consideradas anteriormente: System Center
Razões para escolher o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: The previous product did not have all the feature we have within Endpoint central. This solutions give us management of our endpoint and mobile devices under one product.
Razões para mudar para o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: This was a cost factor for us. The Microsoft solution was very expensive.
Comprehensive Device Management Solution with Minor Drawbacks
Comentários: The tool helps us simplifies the management of all our devices.
Vantagens:
I've been using ManageEngine Endpoint Central to manage our organization's devices, and it's been a game-changer for our IT operations. It simplifies the management of all our devices, from Windows to macOS and Linux, into one central platform, making it easy to keep everything secure and up to date.
Desvantagens:
Although generally cost-effective, some features are only accessible in higher-tier plans, which may not be ideal for smaller organizations with limited budgets. Additionally, the licensing structure can be challenging to understand.
There's none for anyone!
Comentários:
Used for more than 5 years, in cloud and onprem.
New features are always added and the ease of use has never changed; includes the management of mobile devices natively without adding additional licenses
Vantagens:
- Ease of use - Stable software - Easy deployment - Endpoint security features - Anti-ransomware and NGAV - Patching never seen so easy to do - Software distribution 1000 times superior to competitors
Desvantagens:
the only negative note is that it has no negative notes
Endpoint Central Review
Comentários: Excellent tool. Well worth the investment.
Vantagens:
Automation - Being able to set scans and then walk away and patches will be deployed. Admin Tools - Helpful when on a remote session. Configuration - Being able to setup department specific configurations that are time consuming to manually build. Well built reporting tools.
Desvantagens:
SDP integration - would be to import data from Service Desk Pro into the computer details. (Ex. assignment, department etc.) More granular control over the notification pop ups.

Razões para escolher o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: We had already implemented other ME products. Decided to switch and keep with the same vendor.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central- Your Security Partner
Comentários: ManageEngine Endpoint Central has greatly improved our endpoint management by offering a robust, user-friendly platform that simplifies managing endpoints across multiple locations. Its key strength, with features like software deployment, patch management, remote troubleshooting, asset management, and security management, making it a comprehensive solution for IT administrators. The automated patch management ensures endpoints are always secure and up to date with latest patches .
Vantagens:
This platform offers a wide range of features for managing desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices in a centralized way. The ability to automate patch management has significantly reduces administrative overhead and boosts productivity.
Desvantagens:
Experience is good as of now , it not a cons or drawback only a suggestion the user interface can feel a bit cluttered at times, especially when navigating through more complex tasks like patch management or device configuration.
ME Endpoint Central is excellent
Vantagens:
This is the best 3rd party patching tool in existence, nothing I have ever come across in 20 years of experience automatically manages and updates windows and 3rd party software and patches easier.
Desvantagens:
Licensing through a partner can be difficult, I would say just license directly through their sales department

Razões para mudar para o ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Greater functionality with endpoint central, it's a much better set it and forget it system.
All-encompassing Endpoint Management solution
Comentários: Overall, Endpoint Central is a go-to solution for enterprises looking to establish robust endpoint security across all their assets (servers and end-user devices) while adhering to international security frameworks such as ISO, NIST CSF, and PCI DSS. Its detailed reporting features enable admins to monitor endpoint health, patch compliance, software inventory, and more, making it easier to identify and resolve issues swiftly. When compared to other endpoint management solutions, Endpoint Central offers a competitive feature set at an attractive price point, making it a great choice for mid-sized businesses.
Vantagens:
This is an all-encompassing Endpoint Management solution that I've used in both my previous and current organizations. It streamlines the management of end-user devices (laptops, desktops, and mobile devices) as well as servers (Windows, Linux, and macOS), significantly boosting team productivity. Key features include Patch Management, Software Deployment, and Remote Administration with Remote Control capabilities. The platform offers a unified dashboard, allowing you to manage everything from a single interface. Additionally, its Mobile Device Management (MDM) functionality is particularly robust, and we prefer it over Microsoft Endpoint Manager for managing mobile devices. The solution is available as either an on-premises package or a cloud-hosted option (across the globe).
Desvantagens:
Given its broad range of features and capabilities, there is a learning curve for first-time users. However, ManageEngine offers professional training and certification to help enterprises ensure their staff is well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills before using the platform
ME Endpoint Central
Comentários:
I have been a fan of Manage Engine for the past 5 years, especially with my experience using Service Desk Plus. Recently, I explored and tested Endpoint Central Cloud, and I must say it has ticked all the boxes for our needs. Initially, we were just looking for a patch management solution. However, with Manage Engine Endpoint Central, we discovered much more. Not only can we identify and patch known vulnerabilities efficiently, but the test and approve function has been immensely helpful in ensuring stability and security before deployment. One of the standout features for us has been the ability to use remote tools to support our endpoints across the globe effectively. This has greatly improved our ability to provide timely support and maintenance, regardless of location. Moreover, Endpoint Central is cost-efficient, incorporating many essential tools into one comprehensive solution. This has streamlined our processes and reduced the need for multiple, separate tools, leading to significant cost savings.
Overall, Manage Engine Endpoint Central Cloud has exceeded our expectations, providing a robust, reliable, and versatile solution for endpoint management. Highly recommended!
Vantagens:
What I liked most about ME Endpoint Central is its support for Windows, Mac, and Linux, eliminating the need for additional systems to manage different OS platforms. It includes a remote tool for user support, but the standout feature is its comprehensive patch management and vulnerability assessments.
Desvantagens:
It does not have data centers in all regions. Additionally, the data centers located outside the US only provide hosting services for companies within that specific country, not for companies in nearby areas. Also not able to fully integrate with other helpdesk system besides service desk plus.
Power Full Solution
Comentários: Overall, my experience has been excellent. The platform is very easy to use and implement. The support team is responsive, often answering queries within minutes, unlike other tools where responses can take 2-3 days. It’s great, simple, and has all the features I need. After reviewing many other solutions, I loved ManageEngine Endpoint Central from day one.
Vantagens:
Endpoint Central significantly improves our patch management, which is essential for our security. Neglecting this could have severe consequences. Additionally, it allows us to monitor the age of our machines, providing valuable business insights. The remote feature is outstanding. I highly recommend ManageEngine. I explored various products for software metering, patch management, and asset management, but Endpoint Central offered all these features in one package, making our decision easy.
Desvantagens:
Endpoint Central has limited features for macOS and even fewer for Linux, which can be attributed to OS constraints. Enrollment for Mac and Linux is challenging and offers minimal benefits, with no MDM for Linux and limited MDM functionality for macOS. The advertising on the ManageEngine and Endpoint Central websites overpromises, especially regarding multi-OS features, making it very Windows-centric. Integrating with existing IT infrastructure and third-party applications is complex, requiring additional planning and customization. Performance issues arise with a large number of endpoints. Some features do not work as expected, and outdated instructions lead to extra time spent learning how to use powerful features. The service struggles to recognize new devices and lacks sufficient information about the device owner at the approval stage of a new agent installation. Additionally, email notifications for such events are desired.
Good solution for all companies, even small ones.
Comentários: Their tech support is great! Even during the evaluation phase (or using the free product). Quick response and great follow up.
Vantagens:
It alllows me to see the status of my systems without having to log on to each one.
Desvantagens:
They have many products and there is overlap in what is provided. It's somewhat hard to figure out exactly which product gives what is needed without adding extra features and extra cost.
Perfect tool for a small team to manage a lot of devices
Comentários: We use Endpoint Central to deploy, manage and configure clients, to roll out software updates and in-house fixes and to provide remote (in-house) support. As a team, we'd be lost without it.
Vantagens:
We've been using Endpoint Central (UEM Edition with Security Add-on) for 3+ years now and there's no going back. As a small team, having all of the tools we need to efficiently manage pretty much every device we own in one place is invaluable.
Desvantagens:
It's hard to think of anything I dislike about the product. Every now and again an updated agent rollout will go wrong and I'll have to manually remove and re-add those clients.
Comprehensive Endpoint Management with Powerful Automation
Comentários: My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been positive. It's a robust solution that offers a wide range of features for managing endpoints across an organization, such as patch management, software distribution, and remote troubleshooting. The automation capabilities significantly reduce manual tasks, saving time and effort. While the initial setup can be challenging and the interface could use some streamlining, once configured, it provides excellent control and visibility over the network. Its scalability and depth of functionality make it a valuable tool for IT administrators looking to enhance endpoint security and management.
Vantagens:
What I liked most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its comprehensive approach to endpoint management. The tool simplifies patch management, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting, all from a centralized interface. Its user-friendly dashboard and extensive automation features make managing diverse endpoints efficient and straightforward. Additionally, the detailed reporting and compliance tracking provide great insights into the security posture of the environment.
Desvantagens:
What I liked least about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that the initial setup can be somewhat complex, especially for larger environments with many endpoints. Navigating through some of the advanced features may require a learning curve, and the interface, while comprehensive, can sometimes feel cluttered. Additionally, the reporting features, though detailed, could benefit from more customization options to fit specific organizational needs.
