Easy way for a business to be able to accept credit card payments

Comentários: Overall its the best and easiest option for being able to accept credit card payments without having to jump through a lot of hoops and these days people don't carry cash so in order to make sales you have to be able to accept credit cards.

Vantagens:

I like that I can use Square to accept credit card payments or my small business with out having to set up an account with one of the major credit card processing companies. Easy one stop shop

Desvantagens:

I dislike the cost of the tap terminals and processing fees.

Square for the win!

Comentários: I have never had any issues with Square payments and I have been using them for 5 years now for my small business. They are prompt and very easy to use.

Vantagens:

Square payments make it easy for me to take credit card payments from customers either at my shop or on the go.

Desvantagens:

The only thing I would change about square is to lower the fees, but they are really not bad at all compared to other companies I have researched before deciding on my square.

Massive Incompetence

Comentários: God awful and excessively costly with their constant service fallovers and enabling thieves to steal from you.

Vantagens:

Nothing, they have no accountability, no decency, and no competency whatsoever. Fools and clowns.

Desvantagens:

Fraudulent chargeback by a mentally challenged thief that posted photos of his received good publicly. Provided that to Square to appeal the illegal chargeback, and they failed! It couldn't have been easier to win, yet they force you to let them respond on your behalf and screw it up majorly, then refuse to identify the thief so you can fix it in civil court. Disgusting incompetence with no accountability. Don't end up stuck with them like me because of hardware investments, they are beyond awful and will lose your money time and time again.

User Friendly and fairly priced.

Comentários: I have gotten locked out of my account a few times and had difficulty getting back in. You better hope if something goes wrong it is not the weekend. Other than that I love having a square account to take credit card payments on the go with my phone. They give you the first reader for free and the POS are actually priced very well. It is fast and easy to not only set up, but to also use.

Vantagens:

I like that once you start taking payments it only takes 5 minutes tops to appear in your Square account. I also like that you can sign up for a checking and savings account with square and there are no fees for using the card. I like the tap to pay where the customer and I just tap phones together and it makes a sound and a happy face pops up. I can then send a reciept to their email. You get your first reader for free as well. I do not use it anymore really because my phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone outlet, but I prefer tap to pay better anyway.

Desvantagens:

The thing I like least if the difficulty getting ahold of customer service at times. Also when I first started taking payments I had to wait days for the money. I am not sure if I get it fast now because I have a square business checking account, or if everyone can get it that fast. I have used it for so long that I do not recall.

The most user friendly POS

Vantagens:

Honestly, everything. Between 2009-2011, I looked at so many different POS (we were making the switch from an old push button cash register). Even systems that were designed specifically for coffee shops fell wayyyy flat. Then square came along and made it all so so easy to use. I’m not much of a tech person, especially 13 years ago, and set out whole library up while I was on maternity leave and nursing my baby. It was that easy.

Desvantagens:

I am a part of a small local franchise that operates as more of a co-op of shop owners. The one complaint is that We can’t all share gift cards.

A Reliable Choice for Simple, Occasional Credit Card Processing

Comentários: Overall, Square has been an excellent solution for processing smaller credit card transactions in our business. The invoicing feature is especially useful, allowing us to quickly create and email invoices with direct payment links, which streamlines the process for clients. Accepting credit card payments has removed some hurdles for clients, helping to reduce the time it takes to initiate projects, as they don’t have to wait for ACH or check approval.

Vantagens:

Square Payments is incredibly easy to use with minimal setup required. I appreciate that there are no monthly subscription fees, which works well for me since I only use it occasionally. The predictable, flat-fee pricing per transaction is a big plus, making it a convenient and affordable option for when clients prefer to pay by credit card.

Desvantagens:

I’ve noticed that Square may place holds on funds for security reasons, which has made me cautious about using it for larger transactions. This limitation affects our ability to rely on Square for bigger payments, as a hold on substantial funds could impact our ability to deliver on larger service engagements.

Good Business

Comentários: My payments always come through when they're supposed to, its easy and convenient to use or carry with me, it has tap tp pay feature and the payments are reasonable.

Vantagens:

Convenient and easy to use, i can carry it with me and the fees are reasonable compared to other processors

Desvantagens:

goes offline or says im offline or im not authorized to use the system

A solid product that meets most retail needs

Comentários: The overall experience is good. There's minimal training needed for p-o-s users. There's a very easy (incredibly easy) user interface. And as mentioned before, it's very easy for the vendor to receive payment quickly, with almost no delay at all.

Vantagens:

It is a very easy way to process credit cards and to receive funds in an expeditious manner.

Desvantagens:

The data that is transmitted for accounting purposes is absolutely adequate, but it is difficult at times to know specific information about a client's identity (name, etc).

Comentários: Square is a great app to work it's fast and organized

Square is an excellent way to process payments. It's fast and email friendly.

Desvantagens:

When it's time to transfer payments there is now a minimum of 25 dollars to transfer to another account.

The ease of collection is great. There also many options of collection. In person, over the phone or by sending an invoice.

The fees are the only bad thing but they are still the lowest ive seen .

My Business LOVED Using Square Payments to Grow My Business

Comentários: I used Square payments mostly for invoicing but I have been on the customer end of it and Loved it.

Vantagens:

I love how easy it was to use and also affordable. When my business wasn't making much, I could not afford Quickbooks and Square made doing business so much easier.

Desvantagens:

Can not recall anything I didn't like about it. It seems it isn't as comprehensive for business accounting like Quickbooks is.

Using Square to accept payments

Vantagens:

The ease of use and quick transactions times are a must for our business. We use many volunteers to help with our sales and most either know how to use Square already or are quick to learn because Square makes it VERY easy to navigate transactions.

Desvantagens:

The only con I would say is that Square has a very long list of reports to choose from to gather the information needed for your company's bookkeeping. It sometimes becomes overwhelming as to which report to use or to find the report that you need. That being said, once you navigate the system a few times it becomes much easier to find what you need or are looking for.

Benefits of Square

Comentários: I only use square when I leave my brick & mortar building. I like the convenience of "on the go" transactions. The funds are quickly deposited to your checking account and refunds are easy to process.

Vantagens:

Easy to set up the software and process the cards and the funds are transferred to your account quickly.

Desvantagens:

The processing rate is higher than what I pay for my other merchant service account.

Great Mobile Payment System

Comentários: When I started my business 5 years ago, my friend recommended me to use Square for payment system. It suits my business needs. I don't have a retail shop and I don't need a POS. However when the customers want to make payment by card while they are in the vehicles, I have to accommodate this. It was a very easy set up. I just bought a device, sign up, connect it with my phone/iPad then it ready to take business. Less hassle and cheaper compare to EFTPOS from the bank.

Vantagens:

Small and sleek device that easy to carry anywhere, user friendly, various features as payment options for customers and seller.

Desvantagens:

Often doesn't works well with Apple products

What I like least about Square Payments is I have had issues with customer support, especially during peak times. Finally, the limited customization options for payment. Overall, while it’s a strong tool, these areas could use improvement.

Five stars for Square Payments

Comentários: Overall it’s a great choice whether selling just a few items or a larger inventory of products. It’s quick and easy to use, which is a huge plus on a busy day.

Square is so user friendly. It’s easy to create or add products, and I can access it via laptop, iPad or on my phone. People who have never used it before have been able to step in and learn how to easily navigate it in order to run our merch booth. I also like that there is an option to send invoices.

Desvantagens:

Nothing at this time! I’ve recommended Square payments to others looking for a safe and efficient way to capture payments across several different applications (churches, small businesses).

Every Business Should Be Using Square Payments

Comentários: Overall, everything has been fantastic! Collections are down, customers are much happier and business runs much more smoothly.

Vantagens:

This makes it quick and easy for both customers and our business. It has cut down on collections as well.

Desvantagens:

There is nothing I dislike. I feel like every business should have this.

Square is the new Diamond

Comentários: Square helped our non-profit became self-sufficient and collect money in advance.

Vantagens:

We use square to handle concession sales and online donations as well as tuition fees. The system works great and we upgraded t the Point of Purchase equipment which made the ease of use so much better and error free.

Desvantagens:

Before we switched to the Pint of Sale hardware, every volunteer needed to upload the app to their phone and have a card slider. Now we can have one central unit for all to use.

Comentários: Square payments are easy settled in your account same day low charges

Was disappointed that my card machine after a while stopped working and was told by support nothing they can do after a year you have to buy new terminal

Square is a great option for mobile events.

Comentários: I've used square for several years now. It has greatly improved over the years and has made it easy to use in a mobile capacity.

Vantagens:

I like the ability to be mobile and use it while at events. I like the ease of use now that it allows for tap to pay. I was able to integrate it for my shopping cart on my website.

Desvantagens:

You need a strong wifi or cellular connection in order for it to work properly. It's hard to have multiple users at once, you have to constantly verify the log in.

Better business with Square

Comentários: It was the overall great experience which allowed my business to run smoothly and professionally

What I liked the most about using square payments was the accuracy and never having to worry about missing payments and not getting paid.

Desvantagens:

Something that at least liked about using square payments was the fact that I would have to wait sometimes a few days to get paid or I'd have to pay a fee to get my money sooner.

I love how fast and essy is it for my customers to make there transactions.

The only thing i dont like is that to have it is high on price. There rates are too high. Customer service is horrible.
