Comentários: Very good - especially since I was able to do what I needed in terms of adding captions to existing videos right away. Several of the recent updates will allow me to expand what I'm doing with my videos and easily make them more uniform and branded.

Vantagens:

Very easy to upload existing videos for editing and adding captions. It's possible to create a video background for an audio only recording that can easily be uploaded and shared to YouTube.

Desvantagens:

Like most software these days, it starts very clean and simple and then the designers add more and more features. This is both good and bad. Good because some of the features are useful for my business. Bad because it makes what was a simple and clean process more complicated.

Its the small things for me

Comentários: It was able to handle a fairly simple cut of a song I wanted to do at a specific time without compromise and add video to the content without refreshing and reloading. Like beast mode for a few minutes of content and no slack.

Vantagens:

Kapwing is winning at the small things for me, its flexible and easy to use online

Desvantagens:

Its still in the infancy of the full things it can do like auto-pan and contrast the sound levels. Its not adobe, but it's worth as an experienced to beginner editors out there.

Kapwing - Want to love it more, but hate how glitchy it is.

Comentários: I want to like it more, but due to the glitches and the functions I use often (that I think Kapwing lacks) I just find it an annoying platform to use. If these glitches were to be ironed out, this review would have been a lot more positive.

Vantagens:

I love how easy it is to remove audio from video clips quickly, this has made my life a lot easier on a day-to-day basis. I also appreciate how many transitions Kapwing has, as this gives me a lot of choice when creating more exciting videos. My favourite feature which I think is really functional and useful, is the auto subtitle feature which I think is a god-send. It very rarely gets the audio speech wrong, and I only have to change over a few words. It literally saves me a lot of time every use.

Desvantagens:

I really despise how glitchy the platform is. It seems every time I use kapwing, there is some sort of glitch. The glitches are: Playhead moves through the video but the video gets stuck on a static image, with the only fix I've found is to refresh the whole page. This is what I dislike the most about Kapwing. Sometimes my videos get stuck on exporting and end up having errors, forcing me to save a copy of my file and try again which is annoying. Saved videos have in the past have been saved with text blocks out of place despite me not changing anything. The background remover tool on video clips is very poor compared to other software I've used. It looks very janky and glitchy. I use this feature a lot, so I suppose I notice it more.

Comentários: Kapwing destroys video edits I'm making, something that looks like just technical glitches on the site.
In addition, the automatic subtitles do not work well at all - really bad. I prefer to type the subtitles in a free app instead of spending hours correcting subtitles (which doesn't work well either). It's really rude to charge such a high amount for a site full of glitches like this. If your site is under construction, don't charge money for it or charge a nominal amount. Really angry and expecting compensation. I both paid, and wasted my time for nothing. The never-ending glitches and bugs that simply destroy the work experience and cause that a website that was supposed to save me time, takes more time of my life than parallel applications.

Can't trust it IMO

Comentários: I spent 6 hours creating a video and a Kapwing bug, which they fully admit to, erased all my hard work. They offered me $5 for my troubles. Gee thanks. I bill out at $400 an hour, Kapwing. How do I send you my bill??I no longer trust this product and would advise anyone to consider other products, ESPECIALLY if you plan to create long videos.Sincerely, Disgusted Kapwing user

Reliability. WARNING: Kapwing may delete hours of your work on a video, at random and without warning, like it did with me. They claim to have a "revision" system that can reload past versions in an emergency but it didn't work either.This thing has horribly coded saving system IMO, with inadequate redundancy.

When you start using digital for a living it IS important to find good products that are free and easy to use. Kapwing is realky helping me as à community manager. I needed an editing tool that was easy to use and Kapwing realky help me. Free of charge and es easy to use, I recomend it to someone who start online.

Comentários: This is one of the best tools for creating video content out there. It has some interesting features that are worth exploring.

Vantagens:

I can get content out, transcribed, captioned, edited, and formatted for different medias very quickly. One of the features that I find more interesting is using the AI video creator for quick B-rolls.

Desvantagens:

The editor need some polishing, it can take some time to get used to the UX and streamline your workflow.

Comentários: I am a first time user still, and it exceeded my expectations that much so I was thinking of using Kapwing more than Abode pro and purchase the full year. However, after i had finished my first project and saved and downloaded it for use; it looked great and worked perfectly. I went back to the edit of the video and it had lost the uploaded filming and edits I had made. All the time I had spent compiling the whole thing ....just gone! I thought maybe I had made a mistake (Benefit of the doubt) made another and more or less straight away the same thing happened. This has made me question if I should go ahead for the full version and not just the free one.

Customer Service and product are equally subpar

Comentários: I bought the software in order to remove a background in a video. After reading reviews and watching tutorials, I decided to invest in it only to find out it could do nothing for me. They do not refund. I canceled the subscription but apparently my cancellation didn't go through. After paying 3 months for something I don't use, I asked customer service to please refund - same day I received a charge I didn't expect. They refused because nothing is wrong with their product. I like to disagree.

AN EARLY REVIEW OF KAPWING

Comentários: I use it primarily to create versions of my original photographs to suit Instagram's aspect ratio limitations without undesirable cropping. I am retired from business and so Kapwing's free option is very important to me - It enables me to remain creative. Kapwing technical support and response is very good and the user feels that they care and that you are not abandoned after they have created their software as is the case with some app developers.

Vantagens:

I particularly like its straightforward interface and that also that my images are not spoilt by Kapwing credits - In gratitude I always credit #kapwing on social media and recommend it to others.

Desvantagens:

It can be a bit clunky when uploading an image and Tool Tips would make it much easier. My learning curve has mostly been by experiment! After uploading an image it often doesn't automatically show for selection in my Workspace and consequently can be difficult to find.

Best free video making and editing software out there

Comentários: Kapwing makes video creation a breeze and an enjoyable process. You can get lose in your creativity over there as it has nearly every features you could ever want. There is no need to roam around the web looking for stock footage, all are incorporated in the platform.

Vantagens:

Kapwing is very easy to get used to and very easy to work with. The drag and drop features as well as the thousands of available stock footage on the platform makes video making a breeze.

Desvantagens:

The platform distorted and messed up a few of my first videos but soon enough I've realized that it was my fault instead. With a slow and crappy internet connection, the platform will lag and mess up videos. You need to ensure you have a good internet connection beforehand, then it works perfectly.

Comentários: I love Kapwing! It's all I use for my content creation at the moment.

Vantagens:

I was looking for an editor for TikTok videos and Kapwing was the only one that felt like a plug and play tool. Sure, you have to now how to use it, but it's really simple! I don't care to use anything else especially for subtitles. They friggin' auto-generate them! You can adjust it and all. Especially on TikTok with motivational content, that makes a huge difference instead of looking sloppy like everyone else. Get Kapwing and make it happen!

Desvantagens:

It's a little quirky everyone now and then with snipping clips, but nothing bad.

One of the best Online video editing software

Comentários: Overall experience with Kapwing is very good. I feel great while using this software and editing the videos which I share on my online social media platforms. This software increases my productivity.

Vantagens:

The element adding is very unique in Kapwing. I can easily add different shapes, emojis and waveforms to my video while editing which makes my video very much interesting. The video output is just amazing when it is edited with Kapwing.

Desvantagens:

There is nothing to dislike about Kapwing. A lot of editing options are available for editing videos. This makes my work easy.

Glitchy with bad customer service

Comentários: I am actually very disappointed. I am not one to write bad reviews, but their disregard for customer service just left a bad impression.

Vantagens:

They have a few cool features for creating social media content. I Enjoyed there smart cut feature.

Desvantagens:

Very glitchy. Oftentimes, when you export the elements, will move around the screen. Even after reviewing and editing. It's not good for videos over 5 minutes; anything longer, moves too slowly. Also, I was a few hours late before the cancellation. They would not provide a refund or take responsibility for their glitchy software. This is even after I have donated 1 hour of a live video interview to give their company feedback on their software. I was on a trial, then worked with the software for a month before onboarding my entire team. Yet, no refund on a month that we were no longer going to use.

Comentários: I came across Kapwing when I was away from my main work device (with my more professional video editing software), and needed to get a quick edit done. I searched around online and came across it, and it was a life saver.

Vantagens:

Being able to simply sign in with your Google account (not necessary but essential if you want access to your work/drafts later in one place), the UI being simple and clear to understand: making it easy to trim videos, and create quick and simple instructional videos for social media, and best of all, being able to paste a Youtube video link and work on it within Kapwing is what I love most.

Desvantagens:

Since I use the software to make quick video edits on my phone/tablet-on-the-go. The video processing is an absolute nightmare; it gives you no indication that something is at least happening, which really drives me crazy at times.

Unlike other free online video software that I've used, I was able to cut material in the middle of the video and not just at either end. I also love the up and down arrow function to indicate the exact moment in the video to make an edit. It allows me to be very accurate.

Desvantagens:

Once I clicked "done" after editing and watched the video, I wanted to make a couple changes. But it took me a long time to figure out how to get back to the editing page. After trying several buttons, I realized I needed to go to "trimmed" under the "video" title. It also might be helpful to put a title over a button when your mouse hovers over it. I'm not sure what "expand padding" means or what some of the picture icons do. If there's a one or two word explanation that pops up, that would be helpful. Also, the YouTube to Mp3 converter that your website links to sometimes opens up a pornography webpage.

My secret weapon in media

Comentários: Kapwing makes me look better at my job than I actually am.

Vantagens:

There are so many things I can user Kapwing for - but I found it because I needed to resize videos for Instagram. After that, I just continued to find new ways I needed Kapwing. Always works, doesn't cost a ton of time or money, and more features keep coming.

Desvantagens:

My only complaint is limited mobile use, but it's clearly not the focus here.
