Vantagens:

DEPLOYMENT IS EASY, JUST FOLLOW THE GUIDE FROM WEBSITE, DASHBOARD IS AWESOME, LOTS OF INFO IN ONE PAGE.

Desvantagens:

REPORTING NEED TO IMPROVE MORE, REPORT JUST FOR VM BACKUP ONLY. USER GROUP AND ROLE NEED ATTENTION (JOB CANNOT TRANSFER TO ANOTHER GROUP AND ROLE)

Optimal backup software

Vantagens:

simple to use and very useful backup software

Desvantagens:

understand business logic af the backup engine

Not yet for productive use

Comentários: I had a warning message with the M365 backup and wanted to know what was affected, but each time I got the message, report has expired.
Also, sometimes the repository disables itself, which prevents backups, but there is no way to understand why this happens.

Vantagens:

Clear and easy to use GUI. Favorable prices for licenses.

Desvantagens:

Errors cannot be traced and no SQL backup possible.

Great alternative to Veeam

Comentários: We have migrated our vm environment to proxmox and were looking for a good backup solution. This product was perfect for us.

Comentários: Vinchin is excelent backup solution for cloud provider, the ability to do backup restore across the cloud-provider, regardless their cloud technology, is the advantages of vinchin.

Vantagens:

Vinchin is supported many cloud virtualization including vmware, the migration across different cloud is just one click away.

Desvantagens:

its not yet supported metered billing (pay as you go).

Its easy to use and can restore to different platforms.

Maybe that you need patches to restore to Proxmox. But no big deal

Comentários: I do backups on Proxmox and Hyper-V servers, I use the free version in small businesses. It does fast backups and restores, I am generally very pleased.

Vantagens:

What I liked most about Vinchin Backup & Recovery is the granular restore feature.

There isn't a feature I didn't like about Vinchin Backup & Recovery so far.

Powerful backup tool for multiple platforms, including Sangfor and VMware

Comentários: We are using Vinchin Backup in multiple environments with a very positive experience.
It probably doesn't have all the features of other more famous software (for ex. Veeam), but it has a simple and clear license model, it has all major features you need, and it's easy to install and maintain.

Vantagens:

Easy to install, interface user friendly. It covers most of the features you need in a backup solution. Technical support is very efficient, they answer very quick and the operators are technically prepared. It supports Sangfor HCI platforms.

Desvantagens:

The software miss some features like: - allow easy monitoring of backup jobs from external tools (like SNMP for example). Actually it supports only e-mail notifications. - It does not allow to schedule a job to run when another job finish. - It does not support VM replication

Comentários: The environment is very easy to manage and get up and running. Overall we are very happy with the solution.

Vantagens:

ease of use, management interface and licence management. Possibility of having several node servers to carry out backups on different hardware.

Desvantagens:

Difficulty in creating an HA server in order to have the service in another environment

VinChin Backup & Recovery as an alternative to migrate VM from VMWare to Proxmox VE.

Vantagens:

I am using Vinchin Backup & Recovery to migrate VM from VMware and others virtualization platform to Proxmox VE and works perfect.

Desvantagens:

It's need more customization in the recover forms, regarding Proxmox VE options, but this can changed in the Proxmox VE WEB GUI.

The best part of the software is that it is easy to use and simple interface that makes it easy for people like me who are new to backup software. I used it for backup purposes and it served well.

Comentários: A few months ago, while the Exchange ProxyLogon Attacks, Vinchin helped me restore our Exchange Server in different Versions. Every Backuprestore creates a new VM automaticly. So i was able to switch between day-versions for running testscripts to find IoCs and export overwritten logs.

Vantagens:

I decided for Vinchin Backup and Recovery to save time for me for writing and for my collegues for explaining bash scripts. Vinchin gives me a nice and easy to use GUI to manage backup and restore processes for our oVirt VMs.

Desvantagens:

The backup log ist not showing the task duration for a single VM. Sometimes Vinchin is not able to delete a backup snapshot (not furter investigeted yet - maybe my fault) Since the update to v6 the backupjob duration increased by about 6 hours (not furter investigeted yet - maybe my fault)

Reliability Backup solution

Comentários: Good experience, For maintenance you pay renew only for upgrade new version of software after first year, but support is for lifetime

Data Protection problem solved with Vinchin Backup & Recovery in a smart way

Comentários: It has made Data Backup easy and fast due to simplicity of the software. I like the granular restore feature which allows us to save a piece of data multiple times instead of waiting for whole VM restore.

Vantagens:

As per its name, it helps with VM backup activities; Does work smartly by doing activities fastly and easily and also , it comes with a quick installation time period

Desvantagens:

Unexpected data loss is a demerit for me; it should be tackled by Vinchin Backup & Recovery properly because the business runs on data.
