Visual Studio Code - A Simple Review
Alternativas consideradas anteriormente:

The Best Code Editor VS CODE

Visual Studio Code- Your coding partner
Comentários: My overall experience with visual studio code has been pretty amazing. I started with sublime text at first but then having seen the workspace folder integrations built-in terminal and extensive extension support I eventually switched to studio code which took a little learning at first but then changed the way i have been developing websites lately.
Vantagens:
The ability to make use of several extensions really helps me save time while writing code, the auto complete feature enables me to write code for web layouts quite effectively and provides me with a base template to further work on the internal structure and functions. The processing is fast and terminal works effortlessly. Auto-complete Extensions for various Languages and libraries Built-in terminal Easy workspace folder management system.
Desvantagens:
The auto complete sometimes messes up my coding speed by completing code chunks that it expects me to be writing while i might be writing a similar code structure. Having to disable it again and again or having to pay attention to it while working can sometimes become a hassle.
Visual Studio Code is a beast

Versatile, Powerful, and Customizable
Comentários: My overall experience with Visual Studio Code has been highly positive. It's a lightweight yet feature-rich code editor that supports multiple programming languages and provides an excellent development environment for both small projects and large-scale applications. The ease of installing and managing extensions allows you to tailor it to your specific needs, and the integrated Git support makes version control seamless. Its user interface is intuitive, and productivity-enhancing features like IntelliSense, debugging, and code refactoring tools make coding more efficient. However, with many extensions running simultaneously, it can become resource-intensive. Still, its versatility and powerful features far outweigh this minor drawback, making it a go-to editor for most development needs.
Vantagens:
I like most about Visual Studio Code is its flexibility and customization options. It's lightweight yet powerful, supporting a wide range of programming languages through extensions. Features like IntelliSense, Git integration, and an extensive plugin ecosystem make it great for both beginners and professionals, offering smooth workflows across different types of projects. The interface is clean, and the real-time collaboration tools are useful for team projects.
Desvantagens:
I like least about Visual Studio Code is that it can sometimes become resource-intensive, especially when using multiple extensions. This can cause the editor to lag or slow down on less powerful machines. Additionally, its built-in terminal, while useful, isn't as robust as standalone terminal applications, and managing extensions can sometimes be overwhelming due to the sheer volume available. Despite these, it's still a highly functional and versatile tool.
Best IDE for Software Developers
Comentários:
Whether it is working on Jar climate on the highest point of Python as a component of web application or making basic HTML pages, Visual Studio is my decision of IDE. Indeed, even Edx from where I continue to select for new instructional exercises and courses utilizes Visual Studio. So it is extremely helpful. Obviously Visual Studio by Microsoft is maybe the most exceptional IDE that is refreshed as often as possible. Visual Studio is ideal IDE to use new computer based intelligence capacities with modules like Tabnine.
So , the overall experience has been quite good .
Vantagens:
It has an enormous client care accessible in its true site. It gives a large number of instruments for different programming dialects including C#, F#, PYTHON, C++ from there, the sky is the limit. To foster Cloud based applications, it can consistently incorporates with microsoft sky blue. It upholds extensive variety of undertaking advancement assignments from coding to troubleshooting and testing. I created many cross stage applications utilizing it. Its strong investigating apparatuses incorporates breakpoints, watch windows and step through troubleshooting empower recognizing and fixing issues without any problem. The range of extensions that this IDE supports is quite amazing!
Desvantagens:
One of the main cons is that VS Code takes up lot of resources , which leads to slowing the machine itself. Also, I did not find it suitable for android development . It needs a built in android studio support!
To write code faster with best keyboard shortcuts
Comentários: We generally work with PHP language. It provides us with a very comfortable environment when editing and writing code. Additionally, keyboard shortcuts are very useful and we use them all the time.
Vantagens:
Keyboard shortcuts are very useful! Selecting multiple lines with the Ctrl + Alt key, copying code snippets with the Shift + Alt key, automatic code indentation with the Alt + down key, selecting multiple regions with the Alt key are really successful! It makes your job easier with integrations and extensions. The file recovery feature also works well.
Desvantagens:
A close button can be added to quickly close the right and left sidebar menus. Right click and "hide sidebar" access is a bit difficult.
A great product for coding experts
Comentários: This is a great product for coding experts/programmers. It is also friendly to use if you're a beginner. I can't say this is a masterpiece but it performs most of the essential jobs. Unfortunately, the performance bottleneck is the issue if you're having low-end computer. Otherwise, this is a fully free software that most people will love!
Vantagens:
- It is fully free and available in many platforms! - Highlight codes so you will notice the typos easily. - Comfortable to read the coding. - Quite snappy and high efficiency. - Looks premium compared to others.
Desvantagens:
- High CPU/ram consumption. - Lack of some debugging features. - Not recommended for low-end computer (ex: 2-4GB ram)

Vantagens:
I particularly appreciated its ease of use, customization options, and integration with services like Copilot, Tabby, and GitHub

I'm not a big fan of the interface, and I find that there are a lot of features. Some updates tend to disrupt my basic configuration, which can be bothersome, although still acceptable.
My one and one only Code Editor
Comentários: I had using lot of code Editor for my development no one comfortable for me. But VS Code is really amazing I am really thank to Microsoft. Microsoft's Best software is VS Code it's really Unbelievable software. I am Full Sack developer but I am using one and one software for all programming languages both backend and front end.

First thing I can't explain the what did I like because I like overall VS Code. Very light weight software, Attractive theme, All language Supported, Third party apps integration extensions, Code suggestions, Auto align options and more...

Its multiple features and extensive integrations make it the ideal choice for many programming projects, from simple to complex. I highly recommend it to any programmer looking for a reliable and customizable code editor.

VS Code review
Comentários:
Personally, VS Code has almost no weak points.
It is a very powerful, light-weight Software which facilitates users in programming at any language, with a user-friendly interface, a clear window organization, a fast research algorithm, together with the possibility of integrating external software engines through the usage of extensions
Vantagens:
What I really like about VS Code is the possibility of programming and, at the same time, exploiting external software engines through the usage of very powerful extensions. Without doubt, the best feature is the SSH extension, which allows an ssh access to remote servers
Desvantagens:
Perhaps, a possible feature that VS Code might improve should be
Unless your code NEEDS a specific IDE, Visual Studio Code is the way forward.
Comentários: Most of the team have been using VSC since they started learning to code, and those that predate it's release have all had really positive things to say about switching.
Vantagens:
Switching between languages is a breeze, it recognises the language and swaps the markups automatically. Combined with the stellar third party plugin market. VSC is now the companies preferred IDE.
Desvantagens:
The only thing we haven't enjoyed in the web version. This was easily mitigated by installing it locally on our laptops. I'm sure the web client will be great in the coming years, but for now, we're happy to have it running locally.
King of IDEs
Comentários: Visual Studio is the best IDE available because of its wide support for languages and the ability to fully customize it to your liking. The Work Spaces feature is extremely useful to us as we have multiple projects that we can be working on at one time. This makes it easy to switch between projects quickly and easily without ever leaving the IDE.
Vantagens:
Free. Easy to setup and get started. Tons of extensions/themes to customize it. Work spaces. Native GIT integration.
Desvantagens:
Settings can be really hard to find because they are nested so deep and you have to use the command palette to access/toggle them. Microsoft owned product so there is telemetry that is sent back to them.
Still the best IDE on the market
Comentários: The only IDE I use, even thought there are some upcoming fiery competitors
Vantagens:
It is the best IDE out there (in my opinion and I've tried many). Unfortunately it is a Microsoft product, so I'm sure sooner or later they'll find the way to ruin it, like the did with many other product they acquired (Skype, Linkedin, etc.). But for now it is still amazing.
Desvantagens:
Too many yearly updates and lots of uncertainty about how data protection and data management is really implemented.
My Overall Experience with VSC
Comentários: Running, editing and debugging codes is made easy by Visual Studio Code.
Vantagens:
Visual Studio Code allocates builtin Git commands capabilities which makes it easy to develop codes.
Desvantagens:
Whenever I encounter issues, vendor technical team offers free support rapidly.

The built-in Git support, terminals and extensions help the developers and coders to code smoothly, without any problem. 4. It's also a very lightweight editor that launches quickly and doesn't consume excessive RAM & ROM.
Desvantagens:
I personally don't like the initial setup of VS Code. Also the it has huge options that sometimes make me confused.
Great code management software
Vantagens:
i like to use visual studio code because it gives me the best experience when executing my projects.
