Excelente ferramenta para criação de relatórios

Vantagens:

É uma ferramenta gratuita, cheia de funcionalidades e muito útil. Não acho tão prática de mexer, principalmente no início, mas depois você vai pegando o jeito. É uma excelente ferramenta para apresentação de relatórios, com gráficos, dados completos, percentuais, além de ser personalizável. Aqui na nossa empresa nós personalizamos de acordo com os nossos clientes, conseguimos deixar um visual muito legal para apresentarmos esses relatórios para os nossos clientes e dessa forma, também agregamos valor ao nosso serviço, com algo bem apresentável. Recomendo muito!!!

Desvantagens:

Acho que poderia ser um pouco mais fácil de utilizar, principalmente quando queremos criar algo "do zero".

It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to work with my data and build the charts I wanted to. Perhaps it could be slightly more intuitive, but it's not bad.

Good reporting solution if you use the G-Suite

It has some limitations in comparison to other tools such as Power BI but due to the cost is not bad.

Google Data Studio will handle my needs?

Comentários: I had a big concern that I would no be able to use Microsoft Power BI (budget issue), but in the end of the road Google Data Studion was a good surprise. Good price, everything you need to put a high quality data project running. No issues. In another company for example, it would be my choice.

Vantagens:

Once it's build your data sources, it's easy to build your dashboards even they don't have the best data viz options. It's in the Google tech stack, that makes easy to your team keep running. Would like to have Microsoft Power BI? It was my concerto too! But yes, Google Data Studio will deliver all info you need in a beautiful interface - don't worry. Good price, clear and light interface, access from any device. Your data project will meet the needs.

Desvantagens:

Different from Microsoft Power BI for example, you don't have a on screen calculation, easy to work on. Many times you need to create new fields, build cases with calculations to have the field to use on. You need an administrator/builder with more tech skills. But any doubt that I found, I had case or example in the web to search and use. But once it's build the base, it's easy to build dashboards, deploy, upgrade and so one.

Having different services in one report is now easier with the new free Google Ads + Google Analytics report. Previously, users had to manually download and compile data into an xls report. It's free

At times, I found the properties confusing and was receiving data from the test set. But that was at the beginning, now most of the reports just come to my email automatically

Comentários: it is actually very useful for me to create interactive dashboards and also reports. figures and data can illustrate clearly. I can collaborate with my co-workers and work on same dashboard, which help us to complete our tasks effectively. But in some case customization is somewhat limited. Also do not get immediate solution from the support system.

Easy and fast to use it with Google's component

Comentários: We used Google DataStudio for the price (free), it was very easy to use and was mainly use for the simple dashboard and use cases.

Vantagens:

Google Data Studio is very easy to use with BigQuery's connection : we can connect directly tables, views or custom query.

Desvantagens:

Before integration with looker, we were limited with left join between tables (no inner join and no right join)

Desvantagens:

The fact that we needed to rely on an external partner for the initial set-up, and it wasn't something we were able to do on our own.We provided all the business requirements, of course, but we had to wait for its deployment.

I see that it is a tool that fulfills what it proposes to do, it allows very easy integrations, it is easy to manage and organize data, it allows the visualization of dashboards and the management of sharing is easy.

Desvantagens:

In terms of building dashboards, it could have more features that would allow customizing dashboards for a more visual build. I feel that there are still few resources for this front.

Comentários: I'm more comfortable with Google map. This helps me in tough situations when I don't know the direction to go.

Google gives me the exact information what I'm looking for. This helpls me a lot.
