Vantagens:

Amazon EC2 is one of the best web service for flexible cloud computing which supports the deploy of virtual machines so fast. Amazon EC2 download and upload speed is very fast along with secure and reliable in or out of network accessibility. In our office we use it as a VM for running different product on it.

Desvantagens:

At first user can fell complex so learning to use Amazon EC2 can take some time but overall service is best.

Worst Support

Comentários: worst, billings all ways contentious, support is retarded.

Vantagens:

Nothing interesting, just the same old slugged things and keep changing.

Horrible services, bad support, keeping charging when their instances not working properly.

Comentários: Great experience. Deploying various types of servers on EC2 virtual machines makes the realization of enterprise applications very simplified.

Vantagens:

I can't imagine not having Amazon EC2 for managing my development projects, server deployments, and research implementations. Amazon EC2 was the leader in IaaS since the cloud computing inception and it kept proliferating to support more and more cloud services from software services, to IoT, to machine learning, to databases, among many other. After initially setting the registration and authentication with a private/public key pair, creating and managing virtual machines is extremely simple with a streamlined web console. A mainly run my application and database servers on Linux VMs. Thanks to the free-tier in Amazon EC2 even my students can have the chance to inspect with cloud functionality and services using Amazon EC2. Very cost effective even with the paid tiers.

Desvantagens:

Better support of secure data processing in the cloud could be an enhancement that Amazon can invest in. Homomorphic encryption techniques for secure processing of encrypted data is improving and Amazon can be leading the research efforts on this front. Moreover, hardware-based data privacy mechanisms such as those employing cryptographic coprocessors in the cloud can be also a track to invest in.

Amazon EC2: Simplified Server Deployment in the Cloud

Comentários: Can't imagine configuring all these server deployments and publishing them online to be used by clients instantaneously without the cloud IaaS services provided by Amazon EC2.

Vantagens:

I implemented several server scripts on EC2 Virtual Machines of the M4 instance profile. Using SSH and remote desktop it feels like working on a local server. Dynamic IP management makes advertising cloud servers to the outside world a very simplified task. I tested applications servers (Apache, Apache Tomcat, IIS, Glassfish, etc) on top of the EC2 cloud as well as database servers such as MySQL and DB2. The system is as "elastic" as advertised with a true pay-as-you-go model. That was the main inception behind realizing an actual "utility-computing" based cloud system by Amazon.

Desvantagens:

The security configuration consisting of generating the private/public keys are not that simply packaged for the beginner developer. But many improvement have been made on this front by Amazon.

Best AWS service for IaaS in cloud

Comentários: With EC2 I have an overall good experience. It is very easy and simple to manage resources. It is also providing a high level of security.

Vantagens:

I like the way EC2 provide flexibility to choose different kind of instances based on the requirement. It also provide flexibility to configure it as well as take it down automatically based on need

I can't think of anything which I don't like

A great tool for cloud computing

Comentários: EC2 has accelerate our journey towards cloud computing by enabling us to provision and tear down infrastructure as needed.

Vantagens:

pay as you go pricing, High I/O and GPU compute based instances, Elastic IP addresses, Pause and resume instances

Desvantagens:

AWS being leaders in cloud computing, don't see much missing features but they can improve on better training materials for beginners of EC2 service.

The best scalable & bill friendly cloud service.

Vantagens:

The very first thing which is best is the Pay-as-you-go billing system for EC2 such that even if the instance is made dormant for sometime it will not charge for its existence. On top of it it provides smooth scalability and easy integration with other AWS services.

Desvantagens:

For new beginners in AWS there is a slight learning curve for AWS services including EC2. That is for user when they first start using EC2 it might be tough for them to know its uses or applications.

The easiest-to-use Cloud Computing Platform

Comentários: I had to integrate my GCP with AWS EC2 of a partner company. I therefore tried the process by creating a server and testing out the VPN between both GCP and AWS before engaging the other business entity.

Vantagens:

The entire process was very simple, required a few steps. The documentation was straight to the point.

Desvantagens:

I used the trial version but the price was a bit scary. There was no free credit as with GCP. The pros outweighed the cons

Easy to use, even for non engineers like me

Comentários: I'm a filmmaker with huge curiosity about technology, computers and internet. So, for me, the overall experience with Amazon EC2 it's very positive, because it's easy enough for no tech people and can give you the ability to move part or all your production to the cloud.

Vantagens:

Amazon EC2 has all the power to deploy virtual machines in minutes. It was so easy that I was shocked the first time I took away my afraid, read the documentation and launched my first VM, which saves me when the pandemic started, and I had to work 100% online.

Desvantagens:

There are hundreds of settings that you must to keep on eye on it, because every one of them could charge you with undesired fees. So, be aware of terminate every Instance that you had created, backup your data and erase every storage to avoid surprises in upcoming bills.

Very good cloud service to host application servers!

Comentários: Amazon EC2 has allowed us to host our application server very quickly and easily without worrying about the setup process and security measures, as it takes care of that. Amazon EC2 also has a lot of services for server monitoring and the ability to scale up or scale down servers when required which reduces operational costs as we only scale up when there is heavy load & scale down otherwise only paying for what we use. I am happy with Amazon EC2

Vantagens:

Amazon EC2 has a wide variety of instances with various operating systems and hardware options to choose from, this ensures that we are able to select the server we need and have to pay only for that which helps in cost saving. It has options to interact with the server via application libraries, command line terminal & its dashboard which helps in managing the server. Amazon AWS also has other products that integrate really well and easily with Amazon EC2 making it the go-to choice for hosting application servers.

Desvantagens:

Amazon EC2 has a learning curve that a beginner may find difficult to grasp easily & quickly also its dashboard user interface is quite complex with a lot of options and it is easy for someone to get confused and overwhelmed by it.

Extensible with Plentiful Integrations

Comentários: EC2 gives us the ability to automate a lot of our infrastructure installations. Along with the ability to bid on spot machines to make our server costs low.

Vantagens:

Amazon EC2 handles a lot of our server infrastructure and has in incredible amount of features to help deploy our products in a fast and scaleable fashion. Having integrations with other software allows us to use EC2 in an automated simple "key-turn" clusters.

Desvantagens:

The thing a least like about EC2 is how rigid creating resources are. Editing things like machine sizes, flavors, and such is not as intuitive. Along with having different sections/consoles for managing instance configurations like networks or security groups.

Comentários: Overall, Amazon EC2 was amazing both for learning the ropes of the AWS universe and for testing, and/or deployment of a new application in the cloud without going through the hurdle of buying and setting up a physical server

Vantagens:

The ease of being able to spin up a server with a few clicks and under 5 minutes puts Amazon EC2 as the go to instance during testing and deployment of an application. You can basically scale horizontally or vertically as required which is more preferable when compared to on prem

Desvantagens:

You need to be well vast in computer security and a few basic concepts about a server to be able to properly configure the instance. Else, you run the risk of exposing your data if not setup correctly

Comentários: Overall, it's very good cloud platform for cloud computing. We can easy to setup virtualization and configuration. We can also monitor the service and get alert from email.

Vantagens:

- Easy to install any OS and setup EC2 instance- Amazon provide 1 year free tier for new user- Easily take the snapshot of OS and share with other account.- Good customer support and provide instance resolution via chat, email and phone.- EC2 allow scalling , load balancer and security port.

Desvantagens:

- It's difficult to manager & operate for new user.- EC2 may take the addition cost for data transfer.

Deploying our containers is efficient for business application as EC2 provides effective isolation

Comentários: 1. We utilize EC2 services offered by Amazon for our container deployments through Docker in Testing & Production environments. 2. Since the infrastructure is provided by AWS, we needn't worry about regional downtime or security updates as they are fully managed by Amazon. 3. We define our docker containers within EC2 instance and we can trust in the isolation between the containers are properly maintained. 4. We can leverage to stop the EC2 instances in case we need to retain the application configurations for a later point in time and start it again for future use. 5. Hosting multiple backend cloud-based applications is feasible with EC2 and all configurational changes can be viewed completely in its CLI.

We can effectively utilize its AMI to spin up any type of EC2 instances with any OS based on our business requirements within minutes. 3. Its auto-load balancing feature is helpful when we carry out web hosting with diversified incoming requests from the user. 4. We can also retain snapshots of our EC2 instances which can be used anytime to replicate our application configurations & deployments. 5. As it offers licensing within the charges of its EC2 instances, we are able to utilize various vendor applications and not worry about license renewal or request.

Desvantagens:

1. If you wish to perform custom updates, it needs updating a lot of security patches along with its Amazon Machine Image which is quite complex. 2, Network configurations & ACL should be maintained properly so that there isn't any connectivity issues with our EC2-hosted applications. 3. We need to ensure to terminate the EC2 instances if we no longer require the service of it. Charges may incur if its left unchecked.

Best webservice solution for cloud compute capacity

Comentários: We use Amazon EC2 to host our services on the cloud platform to ensure thay they are highly available and are scaled up or down automatically without worrying too much. We also use the Amazon S3 storage which is a great add on to use with the cloud compute platform.

Vantagens:

Amazon EC2 is a market leader in the cloud industry to provide compute capacity. You can host webservices on the Amazon EC2 cloud and pay as per what you use. It is the best solution as you don't have to think about maintaining servers and spend on web services hosting infrastructure. Also Amazon EC2 handles the security aspects of the hosted services via access controls. A lot of webservices written in different programming languages can be hosted on this platform.

Desvantagens:

There are no limitations for this product. They are a market leader and their services are highly configurable.

The ideal cloud Virtual machine that i have used as beginner

Comentários: I have great experience overall using Amazon EC2 and will advise learners or beginners to try Amazon EC2. It works well with the other AWS products. This can definately save your money and valuable time so you can switch to this platform on positve note.

Vantagens:

I have used free trial option and it was really helpful to me. It is cost effective. Server deployment is very simple. Scalability is one of the feature i like most. When your virtual machine not in use you can turn it off this feature is benificial for beginners

Desvantagens:

Amazon EC2 is works good so there is no drawback i found.

Cloud computing done easy with EC2

Vantagens:

EC2 was the core infrastructure in the Platform I have developed for a few months. It has provided computing sources for a Web App that was used extensively by hundreds of clients. It was reliable (no downtimes were recorded) and quite easy to set up. We have used different configurations of EC2 to meet our efficiency needs

Desvantagens:

The learning curve for EC2 and AWS overall is quite steep, so the first steps were quite hard, but it was worth the effort to learn administrating EC2.

Suitable option to develop and deploy your applications faster

Vantagens:

It provides a variety of options to create machines with different type of configurations. It is safe, secure and scalable. I started using this service to learn some features.

Desvantagens:

Some time, my machine stayed open and I did not know about it. After some time I got a mail with certain amount of bill. I was using a free service with limited hours. AWS should have alerted me if I was going over the limit.

We provide an animation service and require a server infrastructure to process the rendering. - Simply the most inexpensive service on the planet. - Multiple redundancies leading to a fuss free experience. - The service can be scaled up to infinity and beyond whenever required. - Dedicated security keys and encryption. - We can install and use our own custom scripts and OS and scale up the specifications of the server.

Desvantagens:

Its pretty much a perfect system. - We had to hire a specialist for setting everything up for the first time due to the complex nature of the settings. - Any misconfiguration can lead to a cascading failure if not careful. - There are latency issue.

You can spin up a server almost instantly and you can select from a different variety of CPU Core, Memory, and Storage tire. You can also select from thousands of pre-loaded servers with many flavors of Linux and Windows OS. It's a very fast, secure, and reliable solution. It also supports load balancer, so you don't have to worry about your server resources during peak traffic season.

Desvantagens:

It takes a while to navigate through the different aspects of the service and requires some technical knowledge. For deeper dive into the platform, there is a steep learning curve. Also, the pricing structure is a bit costly.
