Square appointments isn't made for mobile services, which we are. But we still use it.

Comentários: Setting up our clients too me forever, about 3 months. but that's because we were a mess going in. Customer service is exceptional, and easier to get ahold of than you would expect. There are several bells and whistles tat we were not expecting. Things we didn't know we need but now couldn't live without. Our clients recognize the product, so they are happier using it. We would recommend this product

We like that our clients recognize the product, and are less skeptical to use it. We like the POS integration. We like the customization of our receipts and the reminders to book again.We like the organization of our customers.

Desvantagens:

We wish there were more options to show the different stages of an appointment (appt offered, scheduled, confirmed, canceled, completed). We wish there were rout optimizations. We wish you worked better for mobile business. And AI that keeps road/weather conditions as well as distance between clients in mind would be a fantastic start.

Square Appointments Does NOT Protect Your Time

Comentários: Okay to get the ball rolling at my practice, but ultimately doesn't provide what they promise.

Vantagens:

I appreciate that they have a free version - ideal for people with a low budget who are just starting out.

Desvantagens:

Square offers "no show protection" by requiring a card to book an appointment, yet they allow clients to delete this right after booking without notifying me. This used to be a free feature, and now they're charging for something that doesn't truly protect the user. Customer service is not as responsive or invested as other services I've used.

Comentários: Square is such a quality brand and makes my company and its employees’ lives much easier on a daily basis.

Vantagens:

I love all Square products so I had to try out Square Appointments and was very pleased. The ease of use is by far the best thing about the company.

Desvantagens:

I can’t think of any cons other than I did not know about to product until researching it so the marketing isn’t great.

Easy and quick to use, Customizable experience

Comentários: I really like it! I have used it many, many times and it is fairly easy and quick to navigate.

Vantagens:

I like that it is very customizable, and you can tailor it to suit your individual need, such as if or how you need a reminder sent.

Desvantagens:

I found that it has the ability to be a bit confusing sometimes. I booked an appt once under the wrong appt type. I feel like this was likely the fault of the business professional though, and not actually the app itself.

Appointment scheduling made easy!

Vantagens:

I absolutely love this app. I can keep track of my appointments and allow my clients to make or change an appointment. It's so easy to use! Plus, the reminders are automatic so I do not have to take time to send these out manually. Huge time saver!

Desvantagens:

I really cannot think of any cons. I really enjoy this service.

Comentários: I enjoy square appointments because it also works with square payments. After I am done with my salon service I can just tell my stylist the last four of the credit card number to run. It is also easy to reschedule and make changes.

Vantagens:

I enjoy the fact that after your first appointment it saves your info and after that you can just enter your phone number and everything else will prefill and it makes it way easier to schedule your appt.

Desvantagens:

To be honest I don't have any complaints at this moment.

Infrequently we have encountered a few issues with time zone adjustments in scheduling appointments.

Flawed system, allow's clients to take advantage of your business

Comentários: horrible with apts.. they will not add any features despite over whelming crystals for the added apps because they don't agree or like the requested feature. the flaws in the card on file protection system that can be deleted from the client end cost the business money. their last of understand for adding feature is crazy. they have no idea what things are like from out point of view and refusing to fix these feature cause they don't think its necessary.

I like its connected to my register system, their price is affordable,

Desvantagens:

the system is super flawed. to book an apt you can require a card on file for no show protection. However clients can book an apt put card information in, then after they book the apt all they have to do is log into their account and delete their card on file. I am not notified they did it and when they don't show up for their apt I can't charge them because they took their card off their account right after they made the apt. this is a joke. then on top of that they don't offer the feature to block clients from booking online.. so then I can't stop them from booking future apps when they owe me money for their no call now show.. when this was brought to their attention in community forms and new features .. they responded back they want the clients to be able to have control over their card information. no these clients would not exit without my business. they are my clients not their and they have no right telling me anything about my clients. I am super disappointment in square with this system and very upset that people who sit at a desk thinking they know what features are best when they don't run or own their own business let alone the field I am working in. bottom line there is no card on file feature despite what they say since a client can delete it themself and still keep and apt and not show up for it. I don't see square doing anything about it since this has been a on going topic for a year or more now.

Good but with limitations

Comentários: If had a local business I would not shift away from Square, but since my business serves customers globally I needed a better alternative.

Vantagens:

The best thing about Square Appointments that the free feature gives you most of the options, most important being to collect payments and deposit them straight into your bank account. No fuss. Easy to use and integrate.

Desvantagens:

However, Square Appointments is best for people who serve local clientele and do not serve clientele based in another time zone. In my case, I have a business where I meet up online with people located in different time zones and across the globe. The biggest disadvantage is that Square Appointments does not show booking times in their local time zone. It uses my time zone everywhere, it makes it super confusing for people who are booking. Another con, is that it will collect payments only in your currency, it won't convert or collect payments in another currency. I am based in Australia, but my customers in Canada would want to pay in Canadian Dollars and not Australian dollars, thus is a bit of hinderance for me. The last thing is that if you wish to go paid then it is pretty expensive starting at $35 per month, per location. All this when other competitors are giving the same features for much less.

Great Product

Vantagens:

When I opened my practice I needed an appointment system that also worked with my merchant services. Square appointments was so easy to install and navigate. It also works great with google calendar which is a major plus for me. We have an online booking link where we were able to use Zapier as well to connect directly to square appointments with the help of google calendar. Truly fantastic!

Desvantagens:

Wish there were more customized features to the appointments app but I am sure in time that will happen too.

Vantagens:

I love the streamline look of it on the customer side of things. The appointment scheduler was easy to use. There are a lot of options for salons on the backend with Square that I did enjoy.

Desvantagens:

It could be difficult to use on the business end. I hated that the app and the desktop version were so different. To make adjustments on my stylists booking options, I'd have to check in three different places to make sure everything looked correct online. The customer service was not great all the time or easy to get too. I am someone who does enough research and figures things out on my own, but for people who aren't great at problem solving, this isn't an easy app to use.

Great For Keeping Your Small Businesses Organized

Vantagens:

The app is very user friendly and has all the features you can think of for managing a schedule. I like that it connect the business with the client when it comes to either one booking and managing appointments.

Desvantagens:

With a preference of using the app I would like to see the desktop version just as easy to use and navigate.

Convenient app for Online Scheduling and Booking

Vantagens:

Square Appointments is a convenient scheduling and booking solution for businesses. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy for clients to book appointments and for businesses to manage their schedule and client information. It also offers automated appointment reminders, online payments and it integrates with other Square services for a more complete business management solution.

Desvantagens:

I am yet to discover any cons with this tool.

Stress free appointments

Comentários: This allows me to spend more time focusing on the clients rather then excusing myself to answer my phone. I also no longer have to carry my appointment book with me. Everything is right there!

Vantagens:

Easy to use for myself as well as clients making appointments. Fast, and accurate. I no longer have to stop what I'm doing to answer the phone.

Desvantagens:

Other then the allowance I could give myself by speaking to the client booking their appointments.... I have nothing bad to say about this!

Online Scheduling for Chiropractic Practice

Comentários: Square appointments is great for my chiropractic practice. Online scheduling is convenient for my customers and my staff. The platform is very user friendly, and easy to set up. My customers love the option to schedule online and ability to modify their own appointments. Appointment reminders have reduced the number of missed appointments.

Vantagens:

Square appointments is extremely user friendly for my employees and for my customers. Email and text reminders reduce missed appointments.

Desvantagens:

It would be nice to have a feature that would allow you to schedule recurring appointments on certain days of the month (ex: 1st and 3rd Fridays).

Scheduling software built-in to a P.O.S.? Smart. Really!

Vantagens:

Super simple to set up and it's tied into my point-of-sale app. Also includes a booking webpage that is customizable, as well as a booking button customizer. There is even marketing options and customer loyalty programs built into the Square platform as well. It's an all-in-one delight of an app!

Desvantagens:

Set up can be a bit time-consuming, but what do you expect from such a robust, all-inclusive platform? It goes well beyond the scope of "just a pos" or "only a scheduling app".

Makes Scheduling Easy

Vantagens:

I've written a review for this software in relation to our nutrition therapy business, but I've also started using this for my own personal nutrition consulting, which is structured very differently. I do freelance consulting and work remotely. The square system allows me to manage my schedule and clients from anywhere- with any device. It couldn't be easier or more helpful.

Desvantagens:

NO cons whatsoever. I am a huge fan of all the Square software AND their customer service. If there's ever a feature lacking they're sure to put in requests for you and they always go above and beyond to help.

Easy for people to make appointments

Vantagens:

What I like best about Square Appointments is how easy it is for people to make appointments.

Desvantagens:

Getting everything set up is relatively easy, it can be a little more difficult if you get overwhelmed by technical things. But I think it is the nature of the task, and not much they can do to make it easier.
